Probably the best ShopRite in the area. The new expansion is really nice so far. The prepared food is good at a reasonable price I love the bakery too, scones, biscuits, all really good.

I saw a heavy, large flower cart about 9 feet tall race down the parking lot and almost hit a man! Someone could have gotten seriously injured! I would hate to think what could have happened if this loose, speeding flower cart hit a child!! A car could have gotten seriously damaged! A man almost got hit by this speeding cart. Luckily, he was able to stop the cart from speeding past it. When I brought this up to a manager, a disrespectful employee joked about this situation!! I was appalled!!! The corporate headquarters of ShopRite must have some safety guidelines to prevent these heavy flower carts from seriously injuring a child, adult, or car! Each of these carts should have a lock. Also, there should be a barrier to keep the carts from getting loose when a heavy wind occurs. I'm sure Rochelle Park ShopRite doesn't want a lawsuit on their hands!

This is a total joke. Ever since they put in the self check outs, then closed them, then cut employee hours... this is what you get.... 15 people on line at the ONE full service check out and another 15 at the two 15 items or less checkouts.

The store remodel is nice, but the bakery was better before the remodel.Everything in the fresh roll bins are stale early in the day. This never happened with the older bins. I noticed that there are fans inside the bins, not sure why, but I think it’s causing the problem.I addressed this to someone working in that department and they said they would talk to the manager but it’s still an issue. I will be buying elsewhere if it continues.

I visited ShopRite on 03/01/24 with my two young daughters to do some grocery shopping. While in the store, my 7-year-old daughter accidentally bumped into a freezer door and got hurt. As any concerned parent would, I comforted her and continued shopping.During our time in the poultry aisle, I encountered three employees having a loud conversation with profanities. Despite their lack of professional behavior, I decided to go around them and focused on getting the items I needed.As I was leaving the store, one of the employees aggressively stared at me and initiated a confrontation. I calmly asked if he was okay, but he reacted with aggression, cursing at me in front of my daughters and threatening physical harm.Upon reaching the cashier, I was shocked to see that this employee was positioned near the exit. He even touched my hand and asked if I had a weapon. I firmly told him not to touch me again and expressed my concerns to the manager present. Unfortunately, the manager did not take the situation seriously and dismissed my complaint, even making inappropriate remarks.I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by these employees and the inadequate response from the manager. As a customer, I believe it is essential to feel safe and respected while shopping. I hope that ShopRite addresses this issue and takes appropriate action to ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all customers.

We go here every Sunday. Ever since they moved the deli, our order has been messed up 3 separate times. We order ahead on the app. When we arrived home today, we noticed they gave us two lbs of ham instead of 1 lb of ham and 1 lb of Turkey. The updates to the store are nice but it seems the deli is much worse since switching to the front of the store.

Went to shoprite today. It was busy due to new years. However that was not the problem. When checking out our cashier was new and recently trained. She was doing her best. She needed to call a manager because she made a error. The manager was condescending and extremely rude to the cashier. To treat a new employee or any employee like this is horrible. There is a way to handle the situation and this was not the way. Even after I said he should not speak to his employee like this he continued to be condescending. Do better shoprite.

This is my FAVORITE SHOP RITE to shop at compared to others. They recently expanded by enlarging the gourmet area. More variety of choices. I shop here at least 3X’s a week. The store is still renovating, but it’s well organized. Yes, I would recommend this particular store to others.

Here’s something you can expect regularly from this location: expect that prices you have on deals in your app, or prices posted on products in the aisles, won’t regularly ring up that way. It won’t be every product, the number will vary, but the last few times I’ve shopped here at least one (and often more) items I’ve gotten that were supposed to be one price rang up at a higher price. EVERY visit, at least one, and more often than not, more than one.

Loved the 24-hour availability and the convenience of the attached wine store. The facility is huge with a large variety of merchandise. The deli is very good and had a variety of Asian food. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are the best not greasy like in most supermarkets and many Chinese restaurants. The only shortcoming is the lack of organic produce. However, we can get these in Whole Foods where we shop regularly. This is a great find....we were looking for a large can of wild caught Alaskan salmon not available in our local SHOP RITE. This will be our regular stop for goods other than produce. BTW They had the best price for a can of McCann steel cut oatmeal.

I love Rochelle Park Shoprite!. They offer variety of fresh vegetables and fruits at any time of the day . Prices here are cheaper than other Shoprites and they carry products which I buy and they are not available in other Shoprites. I live in location were I have 2 other Shoprites closer to my house, but I prefer and don't mind to go to Rochelle Park location. Thank you!

This ShopRite is a great neighborhood store. The store is usually stocked and the sales items are usually available when we go. The issue that the owner MUST look at is the extreme UN PROFESSIONALISM of some people in his/her employ. October 4, 6:30 p.m., cashier - 'Ronnie' was the nastiest, most indifferent, unprofessional cashier ever. He did not greet or smile at or seem to appreciate any customers that he cashed-out. He picked up a bag of mine with 4 avocados in it and mumbled something into his chest that sounded like a foreign language and when I did not respond, he asked in a loud, unpleasant voice "What is this?" To which I responded, "It's 4 avocados." Was Ronnie sight impaired? Had he never seen avocados? Couldn't Ronnie count?Then, my coupon for the coffee wasn't working so Ronnie angrily tried to get the attention of an even MORE unwelcoming, irritated man in a yellow dress shirt to help us. This character, I take it, was supervising the cashiers. He was frowning and walking back and forth with the most annoyed look on his uninviting face! I almost left everything at the register and left the ShopRite of Rochelle Park. N.J., completely. To the Owner: Your business has a good reputation to uphold. Please remind your employees that they have chosen their line of work and that customers have a reasonable expectation of decency and professionalism in the marketplace and that we have choices about where we can spend money in this area. Please encourage us to happily frequent your store and recommend it to others. These two men need to be reminded and retrained or reassigned or possibly dismissed.

This Shoprite by far supersedes the rest of the Shoprites in the area. They have everything and beyond and bonus points that are the best thing to anyones ears and eyes they are open 24/7- 365 days of the year. I don't know any other grocery store like that. I have to say this deserves 5 stars and more.

This ShopRite is huge! Many aisles to go down. They have a great selection of seafood and fresh Sushi. One thing that I like to mention that I do not see too much in reviews is that this is the store that we buy our deli platters, vegetable platters, and fruit platters for our son's birthday parties. The talented workers at the bakery will take our vision and place that on a sheet cake. Too many great things at this store to mention. Just Go there!

If it only had more parking! Recently expanded the parking but they still need more space.Renovated store but the check out space is so narrow, most people can just get through. The space is tighter than an airline seat.

Great store, fresh products great variety. They are in the middle of expanding the store. Downside, they are crazy expensive and some, not all cashiers are somewhat snooty and rude. Remember, we all need each other and you have jobs because We CHOOSE to shop there. Just saying.

This Shoprite is slowly but surely degrading. From packed shelfs and good prices a year ago and even during early stage of Covid to now empty shelfs and long lines. Also removing known brand items and replacing with ShopRite low quality is not a good strategy for many reasons.Just few days ago they made announcement in the store that covid tests are available and I thought to myself "What about Milk and bread, and meat? I did not come here to buy covid tests." Will start to look for alternatives, definitely not the same as it used to be.update: decided to check out ACME nearby and boy I was for a surprise! Store that I considered way overpriced now seems like best find ever. They have chicken and other meats, not packed, aisles are wide, no crowds and traffic of people, registers are plenty and no lines. They even had sales, yes sales do exist! How about 2 slack of ribs for price of one! The best thing - they don't shove their own brands in your face.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Roy from the floral department at shoprite in Rochelle park!!! Came to them with a picture of a sample we had gotten from the shoprite in nutley (the woman that was previously helping us ended up retiring during the pandemic so we had to find a new plan) and Roy was absolutely amazing to work with and extremely knowledgeable (his assistants were awesome too - I didn’t get their names though) but they worked with me and made my vision come to life!! The center pieces were absolutely beautiful and fit my tropical bridal shower theme!

Xiomara was extremely rude and ignorant, and beyond disrespectful to customers. This all took place 08/30/2012 register 2 express checkout 8:26 pm. Pay a little more at surrounding supermarkets, Stew Leonards Paramus, Whole Foods Paramus, Stop & Shop Hackensack, I may add the Manager on duty seemed to be ok with her behavior and was unapologetic. A complaint has been made to Shoprite corporate.

I've been coming here for a while. It has pretty good selection of different product. I usually find everything that i need here. Also they have hot chinese/american food and couple of tables where you can sit and eat. The prices are very reasonable. They also have a liqour store that has a big selection of alcohol.

Things just got a lot harder to shop at the store. Anyone that shops at the store knows that they just added a big addition which is always nice not yet open yet. But you would think this is going to give everybody a lot more room well if you've been in the store over the past month or so, you've noticed they are moving things around in the isles and the isles got ALot smaller along with the checkout counters that the wagon barely fits through. . Over the past month every time I've gone to the store it's just nothing but chaos wagons crashing into each other. Every time I go there now or people saying the same thing. Oh my God look how small isles are it makes it so much difficult to shop.Unless they change things, this location is going to lose a lot of business, because I am looking elsewhere to go shopping along with a lot of other people I know looking for the same because of how difficult it is now to navigate around the store and this is not just because they're moving things around the isles are smaller
