The 3 stars is being generous here.If you've been to one Walmart, you've been to them all. Some are passable and some are utterly putrid. This one ranks about in the middle, meaning there are both better and worse locations than this one.One positive is that the store was decently stocked. Another positive was that there was actually one friendly employee - imagine that, a 'friendly' employee. Not that this employee was friendly to me, but I overheard an interaction with a customer near me and I was impressed this employee was decent.Of course the rest of the employees here weren't impressive and were the usual. Some visibly show that they just don't care. Regardless, it's the hiring managers' fault.There were a few long lines at checkout with few very cashiers - you know the drill. The self checkouts moved a little faster, but those with full carts tied those up.The parking lot is decently sized with more than enough spots - the front spots are the most busy since a lot of people fear walking a few extra feet. For peace and peace of mind, plenty of spots the more rear to the lot you go.This Walmart is okay. Been to better and been to plenty worse than this. If this is your local location and/or you're in the area, you can do a lot worse than this.

This store looked wonderful! The selection was exceptional compared to what I am used to in our local Walmart. I saw nothing but friendly faces and workers taking care of their area with restocking and merchandising. Great job!

good offers nice employees, just one cashier working in the whole store, long line and long waiting. More.tham.30 minutes waiting, and the guy at the cashier was wasting time doing nothing.Debbie the cashier is super nice and efficient, on the other hand, khan wasn't nice and welcoming not even hello or goodbye.

I placed an order for 3 2-oz. bottles of a Kirkland brand Minoxidil 5% for WOMEN. I received the order for MEN. I have to say there are MANY options for MEN, but very few for women. It took me a long time to find what I was looking for. And I received the wrong product. It is not easy to reach someone at Customer Service for an incorrect online order. Very disappointed.

Never picks up phone when calling. Is always out of Sams angus hamburgers w/o cheese,even though it shows they have them. Poor stock of items in pharmacy area.

Nice store, pretty clean. Cashier was very pleasant but no name receipt. I don't see the point of having a person by the front door, they don't look at receipt or even acknowledge anyone. Waste of payroll.

Mind boggling. They put in self check outs in place of cashiers so they can save money on payroll.Next they cut staffing and have associates cover multiple departments to save money on payroll.Followed by the obvious increase in theft because of self check out/decreased floor staffing. So their genius solution is to lock up everything because of the high theft.THEN, the icing on the cake is waiting 15+ minutes trying to find an associate with a key since the glass cases aren’t equipped with call buttons, only to be told you and the item you selected will be escorted to the front of the store so you can pay for it on the spot. I had a cart full of other merchandise and was mid-shop. An item of less than $10 in value? I told the associate no thanks, keep it.Congratulations on making your stores completely unshoppable, Walmart! Amazon is nailing your coffin shut as I type this.

Riverdale Walmart is typically pretty clean. I wish it were a super Walmart so I could get all my shopping done in one location. That being said it’s well stocked with what it has. The lines move slightly slow, so I do self checkout when I can, but that line also backs up.

This was my first time at this Walmart. I wasn't too sure because the outside looked a little run down. The store on the inside was very clean and the shelves were fully stocked. I was impressed and will definitely be shopping here more often

Always have everything I need at great prices. Self checkout makes it super quick to stop in for a few items. If you look up the aisle number online first, it’s even quicker!!!

The workers are my Main issue most are on their phones they choose who's receipts to check and hound you like police dogs while checking out.. they need to re evaluate some staff members and make this a super walmart a lot of people I know, no longer shop here becasue of the above issues most of us spends a lot of money in walmart weekly.. do better folks

This particular Walmart is a favorite of ours. It's usually neat and organized. The clientel is polite and friendly. The staff is more sociable and professional than most other Walmarts I've been to.

Great selection on fishing gear. And car accessories. Also if your looking for monster truck toys they have a lot there along with hot wheels and other toys.

So they lock the razors for god knows why. Walmart the multi-billion dollar corporation is stingy on losing 20 dollar razors and can’t afford a solid security system. After being redirected to 3 DIFFERENT SALES ASSOCIATES, finally the last sales associate comes after 10-15 minutes and grabs it for me. She then demands that I have to pay for it right away. I told her repeatedly I wasn’t done shopping and she literally ignores me. Luckily someone with a brain working there told me that she would hold on to it until I finished shopping. Real easy solution to what should not be a problem to begin with. If it wasn’t for that nice lady I would’ve told her to keep it and walked out the door. Ridiculous.

It's frustrating because there's good friendly people working here. But this store has started following the dreaded trend of locking up products needlessly and treating paying customers like thieves. Twice now, I've stopped in to grab a $10 bottle of nasal spray. Nope thats locked up now. Who has the key? Nobody knows and you end up waiting around for nothing. Plus not just checking for receipts but inspecting your cart as well. Yeah I'm good. Target is right next door and I don't mind paying slightly more for a much better experience.

The guy who checks the receipt grab my cart before even asking and had a attitude so I refused and he tried to keep me in the store and not let me take my items that I bought or own as far as going to even grab me word of advice if he put hands on me I would have defended my self and there would have been a big issue so now on I will never show a receipt to them if you think everyone a theft take out self check out and hire ppl to scan the items

This review has to do with checkout. First they take away bags. Then they take away the cashiers. We have to checkout ourselves while 3 kids watch us while playing on their cellphones. Then some guy has to count what's in my bags before I can leave. This is a Complete Joke.

I visited Walmart, Riverdale last week and I was very impressed with the service and the cleanliness of the store. The employees were friendly and helpful, the shelves were neat and well stocked, and the checkout lines were fast and efficient. The store was also bright and spacious, and had a pleasant aroma. I found everything I was looking for and I saved a lot of money and time. I highly recommend this Walmart to anyone who values quality and customer satisfaction. This is one of the best Walmarts I have ever been to.

Horrible store! Now certain products are locked up and no one seems to have a key or even care about it -gave up after going to customer service twice- also is it too much to ask for a shopping cart that isnt broken!

It's a true Wally world. I tried to find two different things that I was told Walmart sourced and couldn't find either one. The staff were busy stocking the shelves and helpful when asked questions. I even overheard the pharmacist helping someone find an item in the aisles. I was looking for liquid BarKeepers Friend only found powder and gummy multivitamins from Vitafusion but they had none.

I really like this Walmart a lot. This location is ALWAYS fully stocked, clean, and organized. The employees are very friendly and helpful and obviously incredibly low prices.

Went to WalMart in Riverdale NJ today to buy a few items today approx $100.00 worth. Went to self check out and tried to use google pay and was told they do not accept google pay. Amazing in todays world . What a waste of 2 hours.I guess I will not be shopping in Walmart

Be aware of fraud transactions when you return something in customer service at Walmart.. Yesterday at the Riverdale Walmart I made a return for $13.86 . About 4 hours later my bank alerted me that there was an attempt fo a purchase in the amount of $843.00 in their electronics dept.!!!!! Apparently someone tried to use my number from my debit card that i used for my return! I immediately stopped payment and closed my debit card. You can't trust anyone! They lock up items in their store accusing customers as theivies when it’s their own employess that are the theives. More supervision on fraud with their own staff should be monitored. I have been inconvienced now to go to my bank for a new debit card and change my number with merchants . Unbelievable! Im contacting the CEO.

This is large Walmart with all the things you need under one roof.Not many wallmarts in nj but one of the good locations to go to.Entrance is kinda in the back but large parking lotIncluding subway and fedex

What can you say about Walmart? It's a Walmart.They need more cashiers and to stop focusing on self check out. I don't work there. And get rid of that person up front who wants to see my receipt. After I waited forever for an actual cashier that receipt is in my wallet.
