Average Target location.If you frequent Target enough, you're familiar with both the stock and the layout and this location is no exception.This particular location was a little understocked in general and a little messy in some areas.Employees were non-existent - not that I'm complaining. I'd rather not deal with Target employees in general if I can help it due to most locations' employees being sub-par, unwelcoming, rude, lethargic, and overall poor.Parking lot is decent, though on the smaller end when comparing it to the Home Depot lot right next door.Overall, it's a Target. Nothing special here, but I suppose for locals in the area it's okay. I've been to much worse Targets than this one (those who call this the 'worst Target' haven't seen the locations much worse than this one) so if you think this one is that bad, count your blessings that you haven't been to even worse ones - because they're out there. I would never return here unless I have no other choice and it's an emergency.

Returning my items at target was made extremely easy by the friendliness and knowledge from the staff helped. The employee helping me was very patient and helped me navigate finding the correct email i needed to properly return my 2 items and I was very grateful for her patience as I got a little flustered. Very great experience

Seamless checkout services, self checkout is easy and user friendly with the scanning device. Wish all stores had this. I don’t come here often due to the over populated basic Target mentality but I’m a fan of their greeting card section

This store used to be much better. Too often there are only self checkout registers open and many times it's only 3 out of 4 that are open. When there are regular registers open, it will only be a couple of them. The lines are long. I know multiple 17 year olds who have applied for work here and their applications were immediately marked as not being considered. They either can't afford to hire anyone or they don't want to pay live cashiers so they can cut their cost. It's obnoxious.

What is happening at this location is absolutely unacceptable. All self checkouts closed due to "theft", a new policy according to multiple workers I spoke to. But only ONE SINGLE cashier open to accommodate 30+ shoppers on a busy weekend evening. That poor woman is not being paid nearly enough to deal with that. They say it's because of theft but this policy only punishes the legitimate shoppers trying to pay for their items. With the staff spread so thin I promise you no one would notice or be able to stop actual criminals walking out with goods. I got lucky and was 3rd in line as her register opened and the last two closed. Had I been in the back of the horde that formed I would have simply abandoned my cart and left. I will not be returning to this location until this policy is reversed.

Target has a large variety of offerings at reasonable prices.Great selection of products with an excellent store layout of the different items , with many different sections such as clothes, electronics, , Starbucks, toys, home decor, organizing supplies, food, cleaning supplies, seasonal items, shoes, cards, wrapping paper, books, media, makeup, office & school supplies. The prices are reasonable compared to Walmart which is around the corner.A Large parking lot and they have elevators for upper and lower decks.Interesting is that the CVS pharmacy is inside the target

This target used to be the best one around here, but it's idiotic management team either at the corporate or store level brought it down to being by far the worst.On weekdays, they only have self checkout registers open. And you will have a difficult time finding an associate in an isle for help with anything.On a Sunday afternoon, I had to wait nearly 40 minutes to use the self checkout lines because of only having 1 register open. That line went even slower than the self checkout.Avoid this place until management does the right thing. But don't hold your breath.

Target @ Riverdale is a nice place for your daily shopping. Staff, not all but most is nice professional and happy. Strongly suggest to stop by on your commute and get some house goods, employees at the register will share smile and exchange nice words with you on your check out. Nice small target

Their order online and pick up is fantastic. Use the app and it's great. The employees that bring the items to your car are so nice and friendly. They've mastered online pick up!

I waited over 30 min in line to pick up my online order, then got my order and realized they gave me the wrong sized item. So I walked the store to find my item again in the correct size just to get BACK in line for another 35 min to exchange the item that was INCORRECTLY given to me just to be told that I cannot exchange or repurchase the correct item that I could only return and then go get in ANOTHER line to re purchase the correct item I should have gotten to begin with. Short staffed, not pleasant staff as I am assuming they are over worked & under paid, and the store itself is just a mess always. I will be going to Fairfield from now on

Long lines for pick up and exchanges, staff polite, but short staffed. Waited over 15 minutes off to the side while they took other customers. I placed the order the day before well over 48 hours. Its the Holidays hire more staff...

Staff in electronics just stood there and pointed when asked for help finding a cable I needed. The Target website indicated they had 2 cables in a specific spot. I asked for a specific isle and spot for the cable and they, the two guys working there just looked at me like I was speaking an unknown language. One the pointed and said over there. Training staff would be a good place for this Target store to start. Service was a 1 out of 10.

Im not sure if ALL targets are this way but it’s horrible the fitting room closes half an hour before closing- what if you just need to try something on quickly? Like come on - I asked where the fitting room was and one of the associates said they close half hour early so there aren’t any customers during closing time which I understand but for real these ppl don’t like to work bc I have been in here a few times and it always feels like they wanna kick you out. I never felt like this all the years going to the one in Clifton but since I have moved around this area this target is closer - a whole 27 minutes away from my house just mad to waste almost a whole hour for NOTHING!!! SMFH

Honestly, every time I go to Target, the interaction I have with any of the staff members is always positive, and they are always friendly and helpful. Seriously, I recall thinking that after every visit to a Target, especially this one. There’s definitely consistency there, well done. They are also one of the only stores where I can still find the cat litter I prefer, which may sound like “small potatoes,” but I dearly appreciate that.

Drive up here is the worst. I understand that people make mistakes, but for past six+ months, they’ve been giving me food that’s expired, almost expired, or expires the day I pick it up. Most weeks it’s the milk. Last week it was the muffins and the bananas which were so rotten they were gooey. It’s like they just use the food that not safe enough to donate for drive up. I’ve tried calling the store to find out what’s going on and no one ever answers. Definitely check the expiration date on any food you buy here because this is very unsafe and it’s been an ongoing problem. I get that it’s significantly cheaper than Shoprite and that’s why I still buy food here, but it shouldn’t be expired food.

This post is to shine a light on a particular employee that found my 2yr old little girl running around the girls section 12/30/22... we were originally in the back corner near shoes when she got away from the 4 of us ... she's fast like lightning and never again will I allow her to walk without holding my hand.... I appreciate the worker that found her I was in such a scared state I never got her name... But I am so truly thankful for you ...and caring concern the safety of my little one. So thankful for kind and caring people in this world
