I love petsmart. The employees are super nice and greet me every time I come in. Only 4 stars because it can be pricey and I once bought a box of crickets for my chinese water dragon and when I went to feed him...the box was empty. No crickets. Brand new unopened box. 5 bucks for nothing lol. But they almost always have everything I need here so one blip. No biggie.

Shorthair black women in the fishing section sold me a goldfish and told me a beta fish size tank would be good for it I gave it to my grandson and the next week it died I came back and she denied everything and I got no refund ! Great service is a lie she deserves to be fired she has attitude and thinks she’s a know it all!!!

Is it Pets Mart or Pet Smart? I have no idea. Anyway I get my pets food here, and my pets are dumb. But, it's a place to get stuff. So yeah check it out if you have a pet.

Nice clean organized store. I go here mostly for my fish and fish products. I do wish they had a larger selection of fish but they make do with the room they have. The employees that work the floor are always pleasant and very helpful. Oh and the have a rewards system where when enrolled the more you spend the more points you earn which are cashed in for store credit.

Not a pleasant experience in there. I went in today to get a fish with my 6 year old nephew and I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for showing interest in being a fish owner by a sales associate. The associate who approached us would not sell us a fish, and challenged me on the size of our tank. When I was unsure, she was increasingly rude and made me feel so incompetent. She was most unpleasant and harsh with her tone of voice, and overall demeanor. My nephew was so upset by the encounter that he cried in the car on the way home. We will NOT be coming back. I DO NOT recommend this location.

Most cashiers greet you when you arrive. If you have a problem requiring a manager, response varies because they don't consistently follow store policy.

You can bring your dog 🐕 into the store as long as they have a muzzle on. They're very friendly and if you join their awards card you earn points every time you buy!!! Also there's plenty of parking.

My dog jumped off the grooming table! The groomer Destiny caught him in mid air but he still landed on his back. They immediately called me and they took him to the Vet to check him out. I met at the vets office. Dr said he's OK and they took my dog back and not only gave him the best treatment of his life but did not charge for a full grooming! Thanks to store manager, grooming manager Nicole and of course the very quick actions of groomer Destiny! You guys are very professional and friendly!

Petsmart has everything you need and more for all your pets, fish birds you name it they have it a nice selection of toys and treats and training lessons too They go out of their way to help you with all of your pets needs and their prices are reasonable to. my wife and I just took our fourth dog, a white Labrador retriever at eight weeks old. It’s cool that you can bring your pets in and see all the other people’s animals to if you never been there give it a try. I’m sure you’ll find something for your pet.

Good in a pinch but wasn't the cleanest (NOT the stores fault - more of an irresponsible owner who did NOT pick up after their dog popped in the middle of an isle and I stepped in it). Staff was friendly and I was in and out with the cat litter I needed.

If I could give ZERO stars I surely would. Went in to buy a few fish and manager or supervisor who ever she claimed to be " refused to sell them because she wasn't satisfied with the set up of my tank and length of time I've had it. Not like it's any of her business, I didn't ask her for any advice! She kept asking me questions about my home and what I had. She is so rude to customers and I talk to another lady in there and she said she’s there all the time and hears this woman talk like this to customers a lot. People should not go to buy a $2 fish and have 20 questions and feel uncomfortable to shop there. I Definitely avoid this place for now on and rather drive to a different place. Persmart do better. And get rid of all the dead fish in the tanks. I noticed a lot of them. They also had geckos and beardies in the same cage which should not be aloud. No food and water bowl was in a few as well

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Loved our groomer. Our Bassett normally does not like to get groomed however she was so proud when I picked her up.Thank you to the Rio grande Petsmart!!

I visited this store tonight to buy 3 fish. The manager Lea refused to sell me fish. She did not think my 50 gallon tank was suitable for three more fish. I told her that there are dead fish in the tanks here at Petsmart. There are no dead fish floating around in my tank at home. There tanks are also dirty. Algae and filth everywhere. I thought I would be doing them fish a favor by giving them a better home. Because of this experience I will never spend a dollar at any Petsmart ever again. I will also copy and paste this bad review on every social media website until Petsmart changes its policy or the manager Lea is fired. I have checked the reviews and I see I am not the only one who has been refused.

We shop here way too often having 2 cats that require different foods and of course for litter, treats, and toys. Staff is always friendly and the manager, Amanda is always willing to help with any needs or assistance.

Curb-side pickup and next day delivery with door dash for free.Minus 2 stars for their most-often RUDE staff. They hire people who clearly do not want to work there. The girl that "assisted" me a few days ago - and I use the word assisted very lightly - was so bothered that my son asked her for help. She huffed and puffed and made it very clear that she was not pleased that customers needed her help. This wasn't an isolated incident....its nearly every single time I go there. PS Normally I would subtract only 1 star for shoddy customer service so keep in mind how awful it must be for me to deduct 2 stars for this store!! Pretty freaking bad!!!Minus 1 star for a very tiny selection of live animals especially reptiles.

Lady in grooming was abrupt and rude. We thought we had a 1:30 appointment based on the confirmation email we received and showed up at 1:30. Apparently the appointment was at 12:30 and we were looking at the wrong confirmation. Our fault, but the lady didn't need to be so rude about it. Her words, with significant attitude: "YOUR appointment was at 12:30 and we're busy" and then we were dismissed by her. We take full responsibility for the confusion, but we didn't need the attitude. This is why it's better to go to a small, local shop and avoid big box stores that don't care about their customers.

Can not say enough positive remarks for this Petsmart. First Mary the dog trainer is amazing, compassionate and lots of experience. Kahrin in grooming was so patient and does amazing work. Kato says thank you so much. My fur baby was well cared for.

The cashier was very friendly. She greeted us when we walked in. Also she was very helpful in what to not buy for our pets. What we were going to buy would have hurt them. Glad they weren’t just looking for a sale.

We always enjoy our visit to Petsmart to see the cats which is where we got our cat from. The purchase is quick the store is clean and it's easy to get what we want and continue on with our day. We really like that!
