We came for the treats, stayed for the cute photo.Soulmate Cafe is such a gem in Ringwood, NJ.Lydia, the owner of the cafe, was so incredibly nice and accommodating. She definitely added to the comfort of this beautiful little spot. My son walked right into her and let her know exactly what he wanted, as he would.The deserts and treats offered are unbeatable. Such a gorgeous variety to choose from, whether it be baked good or a good ol’ fashioned cup of ice cream. And let’s not forget the coffee. Amazing.The decor is love all year round, hence the name. Such an adorable interior with the coolest little photo corner for an after lunch selfie.Be sure to pre-order those chocolate covered strawberries, grab a treat and have a cup of joe if you are ever in the area in Ringwood, NJ.Kid-friendliness: The owner, Lydia, was so kind and patient with my toddler. Such a cute place! It's a great atmosphere and delicious (and huge!) food. It's also so different from any other bakery or cafe I've ever been to. I think the dessert with thin brownie layers, cream, figs, and strawberries topped with a macaron is my favorite so far, closely followed by the pistachio cheesecake. And the owner is a sweetheart - and keeps a jar of dog treats by the door and a dog bowl of water on the porch. I love that!

Love everything about this cafe! All of their sweets and treats are SO delicious and they have great coffee. I have not had one thing that didn’t taste amazing and the atmosphere is really cute. Very kid friendly and if it was up to my little girl we would go there every day.

I ordered cupcakes for my sons birthday and they were amazing! Confetti, chocolate and Cinnamon Toast Crunch! The buttercream frosting was perfect, not too sweet. Highly recommend!

Love love love this cake that Lydia baked for us on my son’s birthday.It was not only a visual treat but also extremely delicious, she exceeded my expectations. All my guests loved it too!!She was on time for the cake pick up despite it being outside her cafe hours and coincidentally on her cafe’s first anniversary.I couldn’t recommend this hardworking, kind and talented woman enough!Give her opportunity and you won’t be sorry!

Stop on your way to or from Ringwood State Park, family photoshoots or hikes at the botanical gardens! Perfect place to grab a sweet treat, have a coffee while you work on your laptop or enjoy with your kids and mom friends!!

We continue to be impressed every time we visit and try something new. Cupcakes, ice cream, waffles, fancy milkshakes, all good and the cakes and cookies are to die for. Super unique style and flavors for this area, like the pistachio cream cake or the lotus cookie cake both that we’ve tried by the slice. They’re addictive ! The owner is very kind and a mom who we admire for doing such a great job balancing the hard work of running her own small business and taking care of her kids.It’s a very welcoming place with different indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out in and enjoy your treats and even a fun spot to take some selfies. We love supporting this local place as often as we can, and you should too if you love dessert!

In planning my DIL’s baby shower, I knew I wanted something original and delicious instead of the same sheet cake you get at every shower. It struck me: cupcakes! Having followed Soulmate Cafe in Instagram, I knew I had to reach out. The owner was awesome in helping me plan and enhancing the safari theme of the shower. The cupcakes were outstandingly delicious (we had funfetti, red velvet and chocolate😋) Everyone was so pleased with the delicious dessert offerings! Thank you for helping make our day extra sweet!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! I don't even drink coffee but have been in a few times now and everything is soooo good. They have such an amazing assortment of desserts. My MIL was so excited to have somewhere local with delicious Gluten Free treats! And can we just talk about the ice cream flavors for a second - oh my goodness it's impossible to decide which to get. The fresh baked bread on the weekends - sooo good. I changed my entire menu for the weekend and focused meals around the loaves I got 🥖.My daughter begs to go back every time we drive by. The owners are wonderful and it's set up so cute. If you haven't gone yet, make sure you do ASAP. You won't regret it.

Such a lovely place!! I stopped in today to grab some desserts for my brother's birthday, and we all absolutely loved them, especially the donuts! I'm beyond excited to have such a nice store so close to our house, and I absolutely intend to start stopping in on my way to morning classes. Overall, I couldn't be happier to see this store open here! 😊

Perfect end to a ride upto Ringwood State Park.Coffee was good, sandwhich was delicious, baklava was fresh,crispy and sweet. Missed it on the way up - its just past the Lakeside diner. Nice cafe and bakery both inside and outside seating... today, was a relaxing seat outside. Already planning the return trip to see botanical garden at Ringwood Park... and a return visit to try more baked goods.

I love this place! We come here after school all the time and the milkshakes are AMAZING they also come with really cool straws. Lydia, the owner, is so kind and always really patient! Overall a great place and I definitely recommend!
