There are no pets store that exist like this. They have great quality products that you can’t really find elsewhere. I try to come here once a week and I live a half hour away. Love this place, the only other store that is similar to this is in the city which is far and has tolls. Highly recommend this place

A great business! I called after my cats were having some persistent allergy problems and the vet recommended a strict diet to see how they react. Karl was very kind and told me to come in to talk a bit more. He was very knowledgeable, caring, and clearly passionate about what he does. The store has a wide variety of products for multiple pets, mostly cats and dogs, and Karl took his time between helping customers himself to give me some recommendations. I picked up some beef food for them and will update again when they start to eat it more, but I had a very pleasant experience.

If you are an animal lover like myself. This is the place for all of your dog or cats needs. The owner is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Their prices are really good as well. I prefer this store over any of the big commercial pet stores.

Beware of the owner of this place. This man is NASTY NASTY NASTY. He threatened me because I was parked in one of three holistic paws parking spots waiting for someone in the business next door. The other two spots were empty and there were no other customers but I was accused of preventing patrons from shopping there.

Carl basically saved our dog's life with his meal plan suggestions and advice over the last few years. Everything he has ever recommended for our GSD's stomach issues always did the trick and helped ail her tremendously. Carl is extremely knowledgeable and kind and we are very grateful to him!

Karl is a fantastic small business owner. Attentive. Knowledgeable. Sincere. Honest. Expert in the animal food, supply industry. I needed some food for my dog as I was visiting the area and didn’t bring enough for our visit. Karl provided me with phenomenal customer service. I HIGHLY recommend him and his store over any other big box/chain/Amazon competitors. Amazing business!!!

We have been shopping with Wholistic Paws for years. Everyone is very attentive and knowlegeable, they will pin point the right food/ treats/chews/ supplements for your pets- cats and dogs. They don't push the products and will always ask questions to make sure you are getting the right one. And where else do you get to try before you buy? I am very surprised to see the latest poor review and I am very perplexed as to why you would expect "medical advice" in a store? Doctors and vets charge for any medical/veterinary advise - Karl and Katrina never do. They give free nutritional advise, which is priceless. Anything free is very hard to come by these days.

I very rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write that I have never received anything but the utmost respect from the owners of Wholistic Paws. I came in when my puppy had stomach issues and I was worried and they calmed me down, showed true compassion, spoke very knowledgeably about dog health and food and gave me great advice on my puppy and the food he needs. My dog is happy and healthy and eating food he loves thanks to the kind people at Wholistic paws. I'm from out of state and I'll come here whenever I'm in the area, my aunt is local and she and her dog owning friends all swear by Wholistic Paws. Come here to speak to people who really know dogs and will provide you with all your dogs needs and you wont regret it.

Wholistic paws has everything! I’ve stopped going to petco and the larger shops because of the personalized experience at wholistic paws. I shop at both the Ramsey and ridgewood locations. Staff is friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable. They have an amazing selection of food, treats, bully sticks, oils and supplements. My dogs love everything I buy from there. Definitely worth shopping small!

Katrina is absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable about all breeds and is very comfortable to talk to. I brought my lab/pit mix who was uncontrollably itching and losing hair. Vets had prescribed a medicated food for sensitivities which was a ridiculous price was 25lbs of food that my 80lb. dog would go through in no time. Not to mention the vet was just guessing what was wrong. Katrina suggested a grain-free diet which was actually less than the Iams food I was feeding him. A few weeks later and his Itching has drastically reduced and his hair is almost completely grown back!

They have natural things for your dogs but we’re passive aggressively high and mighty. I wish I never came here, I’ll shop online instead. Woman behind the counter told me I should harness my dog (he has one but doesn’t need it to go to the store).. I don’t need that negativity in my or my puppy’s life! Also, if you guys wanna be natural why don’t you ditch the plastic bags.

It was my first time in the store and they weren’t the most welcoming.They were very friendly when a repeat customer came in after me. It wasn’t a bad experience but I prefer the Ramsey store. They were much nicer and welcoming.
