I started to go to Paticas International Pet Grooming after a HORRIBLE experience with a pricier "well known" groomer in Fort Lee.I've been going to this location for almost a year (my buddy is a year and a half) and have experienced nothing but EXCEPTIONAL service. Every haircut has been perfection and more importantly my dog loves her which tells me he is being treated KINDLY.There was one instance where I needed to drop my dog off 10 minutes before they opened b/c of a work conflict. Without hesitation, Valentina said "sure, no problem!" and accommodated my request. She didn't have to open earlier but she did which was greatly appreciated.I normally don't write many reviews, but this is a small business and everyone should know about them! I highly recommend trying them out.

The best mom and daughter duo! We’ve taken our doodle to several difference places and could not find a groomer that got it right. First grooming here was the best we’ve ever seen our pup. Valentina will ask exactly what you want, listens, and explains everything. Our pup is always so excited to see her and her mom, and they always take amazing care of her. They are always telling us how we can better upkeep at home whether it’s her paws or her private area that gets dirt trapped around it. Always flexible with scheduling and responsive. Great with doodle matting and knots! The best! Everywhere else we’ve tried, our pup still came home with knots after a full groom. Can’t beat Paticas! Thank you both for loving Cassini and always treating her like your own while she’s with you.

From day one, Paticas has provided an excellent service. I was very concerned about taking my dog, Tito, to a new place. My biggest concern was that someone was going to mistreat him, but since I met Valentina and her mom, all my worries went away. They have done an excellent job at taking care of Tito, they've given me so many tips to take care of him, they've even accommodated last minute requests. They always listen to my requests and they do an amazing job with Tito. Every time he comes back from Paticas, he smells so good and he looks very handsome. I definitely recommend Paticas to anyone looking for a place to groom their dog. Thank you Paticas for taking care of my baby!

Started coming here when the pandemic first started and have been here ever since. I used to go to a place on 68th street where they used to make cuts and ALWAYS shave my dog cause of “matting issues”. Although they have never needed to shave Joy and if they need to they will tell you right away. Truth is the owner and her mom are the best around and treat your animal with such care. my dog is a nervous dog especially around other dogs but she never comes back sad or anything. 10/10 recommend this wonder place!!

My dog and I absolutely love Paticas! The mother/daughter dream team always show such love for the dogs and groom exactly as you ask. They even welcome photo ideas of any styles you’d like! They are patient, loving and super professional! And pricing is also great! My LoLa always comes out looking like a show dog! So fresh and so clean! She adores them and is not scared as she was with other groomers we’ve tried! Appointments are timed perfectly so no pets are crossing paths or needing to be caged like other places. Very safe and sanitary! Highly recommend Paticas in Ridgefield for all your pet grooming needs!

0/0!!! DO NOT GO HERE! BEWARE!! Beyond rude, inconsiderate and careless groomer! I called a week in advance to make an appointment for my cat. A WEEK NOTICE. it was sooo hard to even get a ahold of this place! On my first call, patica said she would give me a call back in 1 hour. She never called back… I did the next day. After many ignored calls I finally got thru to make an appointment. On the DAY OF the appointment, I called numerous times to confirm as the groomer said she would send me a contract the week before, but I never got the contract. Come the day of the appointment, I called 5 times during business hours with NO ANSWER!! Finally after calling a 6th time, Paticia so carelessly tells me "something came up" and she couldn’t do the grooming… She sounded like she literally just woke up! EVEN IF something came up, how can she not notify customers?!! I took off of work to bring him in for this appointment. she gave me a 30 min cancellation notice after I called her numerous times to find this out on my own. She was never even going to call me to let me know it was cancelled! I had to find out myself. What kind of business does that? Obviously this isn't a real business and there is NO customer respect or consideration! She's also SO beyond rude from the beginning!! I call being soo kind and she's so nasty and irritated on the phone. There are so many groomers in the area, go somewhere that appreciates your business and has the decency to answer your phone call!! If she's like this towards the humans, who knows what she's like to the animals!?!! Imagine my pet was there and she wasn't answering the phone at alll, SLEEPING INSTEAD??? beyond sickening and unprofessional. SAVE YOUR TIME SAVE YOUR MONEY SAVE YOUR PET!!!!

I think this place is the best grooming salon in New Jersey.When My dog went to other places, the hair was bumpy and it took a long time. I was worried because it ended quickly but I liked it out of all the grooming salon’s I went to and I recommend it. :)

This is my go to groomer. It’s a lovely mom and daughter duo who you can tell really care about your furry loved one. Very professional and easy to work with. I’m terrible at scheduling Bulleits appts but they are always able to find a spot for him. He comes home looking and smelling excellent Everytime.

I cannot recommend this groomer to anyone, not reliable and do not return messages. They do not have the experience. The previous groomer at this location, happy dogs, was the best. I have tried the current owners but they do not have the experience maybe in time.

I appreciate the groomer's kindness and welcoming attitude but when it comes to her grooming skills and hygiene, I cannot give anymore than 0 star. It was nice that she gave my dog a cute little bow tie after the process, but he did not look groomed at all when I picked him up. His nails were clipped and he seemed to be shampooed but they did not cut his hair at all as they described what was included in the 50 dollar package.His hair(yorkie) is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed but he had all kinds of other dogs' hair on him and that was the most disappointment.I highly disagree with the previous reviews and pictures.Sighs
