The store is awesome, they have everything and anything you may ever need for anything, even if it's well over 100 years old. They have all of the odd hardware pieces you're looking for! The people are awesome, and extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'd have given them 10 stars if I could!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

I love hardware stores exactly like this one. They carry the products and sundries you are actually going to need. Most places don't carry the little things that are actually essential but this place does. They also have quite an eclectic collection of items as well. I was very impressed, and the staff are super cool too.

Wonderful old fashioned store! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They carry items that are hard to find elsewhere. Best place to buy my Christmas bottles. I have been going here for years and never been disappointed.

A turn back in time experience. Store stocks some of everything you need. Definitely a stop on the way to the train ride or famous carved tree across the street.

This is the Gem of Richland!!! With out this store you might as well change the name of Richland to buena cuz it’ll be nothing! Great prizes and sales, everything you need for home repair!!! Also the staff is friendly it’s like talking to family

This one was a good example of why you should shop local.i was traveling through and decided to pick up some stain for my door, Great small town hardware store. friendly and helpful owner. had my dog with me and the owner was kind enough to allow her in with me also.

I'm never disappointed when I come here!I went for some wine making supplies and found much more! The lady at the register was super helpful and when I asked questions she didn't know the answer to, she looked it up! There's no leaving the store with unanswered questions!They have so much stuff here from wine/beer making, to speciality screws, to bird feed and so much more!

Gary makes a good key !The store is very well stocked, a little pricy but the staff appears very knowledgable and helpful. When you factor in the cost and time to ride to the big box place it is well worth the expense. And who knew that would be the place to get winemaking supplies? Might have to take up the hobby.First time customer, I’ll be back…….

Gary is a great guy. They carry things many others have to order. I wanted a Dutch Oven as a gift for my nephew. They had two Lodge on the shelf for under $60.00. If you need one nut, bolt or screw, Gary has them and you only have to buy what you need. Unlike the big box stores where you have to buy a package of 10.

They had a good selection and variety of items throughout the store.I was able to get exactly what I needed, but the employees did not seem to have that Old Country Store atmosphere that you look for in this type of store. I don't know if they are new owners or not but I've been in there before a while back and I truly felt like they wanted to help me, not so this time. It's not around the corner for me, and I hate big box stores, I like to support the Local Entrepreneur and I use to enjoy taking the occasional drive to go there, but after this last visit, I will have to actually need something that I can't find elsewhere to return.Hopefully you will have a better experience.

This is an outstanding local hardware store. Gary seems to have everything you need whenever you need it. Prices are good, and he has what others do not! Update 2/1/23: all still great here. I have been back and forth after different things weekly. It's always there, and Gary is a great help finding stuff and with his knowledge to help you with your endeavors.

If you ever even get a chance to look inside this historic building then do! It was built in the 1890s and has just about everything you need in it. From wine making to automotive, Richland has it all. And the owners Gary and Tracy are awesome with customers and always happy to help. Not to mention how they always try to keep everything stocked up even with how hard it is to get things right now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Never been here before and honestly didn't know it existed until we did a Google search for hardware stores near us. We were pleasantly surprised as they have a little bit of everything needed to complete various projects and repairs around the house. Obviously some prices are a little higher than your big box stores but supporting local businesses has become more important to us then saving a few pennies. Friendly and helpful staff. Had it not been for the whole Covid mask madness, we could have easily spent several hours there exploring each and every aisle. It was like taking a step back in time. We will definitely be back!!

Love the feel of history there. I managed an Italian restaurant a few years back, it's just ashame that area is so desolate. And barely any of that small community come together to help local businesses. Not all the people though. we had some very nice people from Richland support us. It was nice of the mayor to stop in with his wife once. 🤷 Did I see even Richland deli closed?? Wow!! In 2016 he even expanded that place to add more stuff. Sad, and he did the fair there. Good luck to you guys I wish you continued success, your good people.

Everyone should be as lucky as the locals in Richland, NJ., to have a gem as a hardware store in their own town. The owners take great pride in their business and treat their customers like family. They will help you with any project that you are trying to complete. They even carry pet products.

Very well stocked ! I honestly can't remember EVER being let down here. IMHO many, if not most "smaller" HW stores regularly don't have what you need. Some are so bad that I'll just drive further to home depot without even bothering to check 1st. Whereas this is a gem of a "mom & pop" store that deserves $upport IMO.

What a great store! I loved the old General store feel to the place and the gentleman who helped me found EVERYTHING I needed to complete my latest DIY project and he also gave me a few tips. Amazing staff, great assortment of products...would recommend this place to anyone looking for good conversation as well as all of your daily project needs.

I love this place personalised service that I have not seen since I was a kid it is now my first stop for all my projects when. I am working in that area hard to find items to every day items well worth the extra few minutes and extra few pennies we need more places like this not the big chain stores the people working here I'm not positive if he was the owner but he was so helpful and pleasant even had the young man load my truck with the bags of sackrete thank you guys your my first stop for all my projects in your area I suggest just stopping in and checking it out before going to a big chain store

I was working in Richland, when I realized I forgot a valuable piece of equipment. Faced with calling the boss, or handling the situation another way, I chose to stop here hoping they would have a 1 gallon sprayer. They had everything from 1/2 gal to a 3 gal sprayer, prices comparable to any box store. I didn't get to look in the rest of the store, but it was definitely an old school hardware store, with lots of inventory, and a couple of helpful guys working there.You guys saved the day, thanks!
