I’ve only been to this place twice and since I just bought my bunny here I will probably be back more often! Unfortunately it’s a 40min ride from me but totally worth it! Everyone here works extremely hard and very well educated on the animals they sell. There was a gentleman there who answered all my questions and told me the dos and donts for my new pet bunny who has so far been amazing and healthy! There were also two other women there who were so sweet and also answered some of my questions. Thank you for a wonderful experience and my new lovely bun Marlo ❤️

TJ is the dog whisperer. He’s very knowledgeable. My dog was going through heartworm treatment but she’s very smart, too smart for her own good. TJ suggested a product that I could hide her doxycycline so she would eat it. Product is the catnip for dogs. Once again TJ outdoes himself!

TJ and staff are nice. I’ve bought an animal from F&F and still board it here when I’m away. That being said, I agree with some of the other reviewers that it does smell and feel very humid in there. It’s a relief to walk out of the shop and get some fresh air. Also I do notice some fish look dead in the individual bowls plus there is always a huge amount of poop in the rabbits/ hamster enclosures. This leads me to be somewhat concerned about the welfare of the animals and cleanliness of this place.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. They are kind. They a fair. And they do an amazing job. I took my brother's dog in because he was matted badly and my brother was in a difficult situation so wasn't able to have him groomed for a while. Not only did the owner agree to take on the dog. He also did it at a discounted rate due to the circumstances. All of my animals go here. And I fully trusted them to do an amazing job. But this was above and beyond my expectations. And I am forever grateful for them. This place is the absolute best and I am a customer for life! Thank you so much!!!

Got my ferrets from here for my mom’s birthday. They’re so adorable. Everyone in the store was so wholesome and kind! Went to other chain pet stores, and those chains were both rude AND more expensive. Was an easy buy, and someone even threw in a few treats.

There are dead animals on display all over the place. No enclosure is set up properly or the proper size for the animals being kept in it. Cob webs covering the light/heat fixtures on top of tanks, can barely see through any of the glass, animals eating off of broken plastic scraps instead of bowls or dishes. This is the most disgusting pet shop I’ve ever seen, I’d do anything to have it shut down.

They have a nice selection of pets and pet supplies. I own a guinea pig and always get their toys here because of the vast selection in size and price. They have a better selection than Petco and Petsmart which is crazy because it's like 1/4 the size.

I have been shopping at Fins & Feathers for years. TJ is extremely knowledgeable and always has great recommendations. He also stocks the best quality treats, chews and food for my pups. This is also the only local shop I can actually get the correct food for my African Grey parrot.

I'll start this review by saying that we love TJ. As others have also stated in their reviews, TJ is a big part of the reason we visit the store quite frequently. Of course, Fins & Feathers carries excellent products and the staff is terrific as well but TJ knows his stuff! Our Winston & Gertie love when we go there, mentioning the name of the store gets a head tilt for sure! Complete, full on recommendation!

The staff here are so rude and condescending, but more importantly the animals are not properly cared for AT ALL. They are Laying in their own urine, with dirty cages and look miserable. It's heartbreaking and simply unacceptable.

Amazing place!!!! TJ and the staff will not let you down!! I trust them with my boxer for grooming and all his pet needs from food to treats and toys! My 5 month old is growing fast and vet has told me extremely healthy. This is all because of the guidance TJ and staff have given me when it comes to raising a boxer!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. Number one- it's clean! Like so clean. there are so many times you go to pet stores and the water is dirty or the cages are clean or where the rabbits are disgusting or there's a smell etc... Not this place. When you walk in you can just see that there is a lot of effort and time put into maintaining a healthy and clean environment for these animals. TJ, the owner, and his staff have been nothing short of fantastic in regards to knowledge, patience, understanding, and just overall working with you to make sure you have the best experience and get the pet that's perfect for you. I really can't say enough about this place I have been to plenty of bird stores, pet stores (I'm an animal lover like obsessed from adoptions to pet stores). In regards to adoption I nearly always adopt (almost every pet I've had including all my family pets growing up and currently). But when I go here You just know that it's not someone who's just pumping out animals to sell and make profit You can tell that these animals come from a good reputable place and need a home. but it's nice knowing that while there are at the store they have a good life they are well taken care of. Sorry for the long review but I'm just really really impressed with this place do yourself a favor if you're looking for an exotic pet, or even just a fish this is the place to go.

A HUB FOR ANIMAL ABUSE. I came here a few months ago to get a parrot, because I previously got a bearded dragon from this store. But I don’t think i’ve ever been more disgusted in my life. When i went to the back to see the birds, they were all crammed in small, empty cages PILED with feces. The fact that these social animals were shoved to the back of the store was red flag number one. Below these cages was a hole where we watched a RAT run in. When looking for an employee, one came through the nearest door, and with the slam, THOUSANDS OF FRUIT FLIES flew up from the cages. I genuinely had to hold my breath because i thought one would go in my mouth.All of these animals were petrified of human contact, meaning that they were never truly exposed to it as they should have been. Even the baby birds at the front, who would normally CHASE contact. When the employee reached into the birds cage I asked him to stop when the bird started panicking. BUT HE DIDNT STOP!!! He kept grabbing for it. I said repetitively, it’s okay it doesn’t have to come out. But no, he kept going. Once he did stop i decided to never go to this place again, i refused to purchase anything, and to this day i debate calling services.

Love this place!!! Years ago, when Helen owned it, we brought our golden, Abbott, here to be groomed. Never ever disappointed. Now I bring my dog, Finnegan, here to be groomed. The now owner, TJ, and staff are awesome. They always now the answer to all of your questions. Highly recommend
