I have been going to this store since. It has opened. Normally the employees are friendly and helpful. However whoever the young woman who works in the fish department in the back of the store at around 12:00pm March 5, 2022 was not helpful at all and rude. On 4 different occasions she blatantly just ignored me and if I didn't as ask she would never ask if I needed help. On the last occasion she was talking to a friend who did not work in the store and when I asked for help she just said I know and continued chatting with her friend, so I left. It's a shame, I like that store. I will not shop in that store again as long as she is still employed there. Luckily there is a Petco right across the highway.

Asst. Manager Michael was extremely helpful and personable. I needed help with diet for my cat . Store is beautiful ,clean and well stocked. Love the selection. Would love to see ZIWI food there as well.. Great experience!!!

THANK YOU PET GOODS, WE FINALLY HAVE ANOTHER LOCATION!!!Been shopping at Pet Goods Paramus since they opened. In fact my niece worked for this owner in one of her first jobs.PRODUCTS:If it's sold somewhere, odds are more likely than not that PET GOODS will have it. If they don't, no one in the area will have it. I am going to vouch for them on this in my shopping career with them it has definitely been my experience. Example: 12 yrs+ ago I needed a specific car seat for my Yorkie. No one had it, people weren't really "into" these seats yet but PET GOODS was all over it! They had stock & the list goes on.STAFF:We all know the names of the Paramus staff in our family from shopping there. The STAFF doesn't forget - makes it much more personal. Hats off to their new location having the level staff that Paramus has - great work.PRICES:They match. Period. So instead of losing a local business, we chose to divide our items... anothercompany.com gets some of our order & 65% of the rest is bought at Pet Goods. AGAIN, THEY PRICE MATCH WITHOUT ALL KINDS OF PAPERWORK, ETC. So it's great to bring our pup into the store and let him pick some toys, socialize & share the wealth with an Owner who is so well committed ... Give it a shot. Please.Congrats Pet Goods on your new location - we are just as smitten as we have been in Paramus well-done 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
