The service is one of the worst in the region. My wife ALWAYS has problems with her prescription. It's never their mistake, they never have the right medicine, and they always blame the doctor. In addition, we scheduled a covid vaccine a week before. They don't have access (or are lazy) to the records, they always ask for all the papers and everything is on the Walgreens app. Now, they have moved to a larger and more modern building, but I believe you can vacate the building and leave it to another business with more competent people.

The customer service at this pharmacy is the worst I've ever dealt with. The workers are rude and condescending and often give out incorrect information. Several times I've been told my prescription wasn't ready for refill, when every time they were and after double or triple checking, the workers suddenly were able to refill. So many times I had to deal with combative workers who seem to enjoy making the customer's life difficult. This 301 Harrison Street Walgreens needs a complete overhaul and re-training. Deserves 0 stars !

Horrible service… had to go three times after I received a text that my prescription was ready and each time I went I had to come back because prescription was not ready. When I came last time I had to wait for 45 mins although the pharmacy was empty. There were two pharmacists who were doing their routine work and taking calls as if there is no one waiting to pick up their prescription. Very inefficient… not sure how no one is looking into the pharmacy’s poor service….

I was checking out at our north Harrison St. Walgreens; (have not shopped there since then, last fall).Part of the total bill at checkout was something which had to be returned. The cashier, they didn't particularly like that, so, annoyed, took us including the paying customer, into a quibble. of sorts ; an argument. That has meant the end of going to Walgreens here in town.

If I could rate this store negative, I would. They screwed up my photo prints by using the wrong material and refused to reimburse me their fault. Also I observed that a shop assistant was rude to another customer who wanted to return items. The assistant said that I recognized your face and I was always helping you (return). The attitude shows that shop assistants there has no respect to their customers. Give you money to other drug store near by, not this one for sure. By the way, if you ask to speak to their managers, all the shop assistants would respond that they are all managers; what a lie and what a shame!

Attempted to schedule COVID / Flu shots here. I booked through the website for a week from today and called with an insurance question. Pharmacist didn't listen to my question, informed me they had no vaccines available right now, and immediately hung up -- unbelievably rude. I'm speechless; will go back to the CVS on Harrison st instead and avoid this place like the plague.

The lead Pharmascist was so rude and unprofessional! He gave me a hard time about returning a prescription, even though it was evident that it was Walgreen’s mistake and not mine. I will take my business elsewhere

I usually never post reviews, as you can certainly verify. Yet, I felt compelled to do so this time. I came in on February 8, 2023 for a government compliant picture for a visa. The set-up was very artisanal, and the employee took a while to figure out why she couldn't see the pictures she had just taken on the computer. We proceeded to retake them a second time, but she didn't care to see that what was meant to be a neutral white background had some magazines behind me. We then retook them a third time only for her to crop my hair, have my head be very small compared to the rest of the picture. This picture didn't even pass the checklist tool installed on their own computers to certify that the picture was compliant with government standards. Yet, she wanted to bill me for a picture that would clearly get my whole application denied. She then called her manager who selected a random picture where my eyes were closed, and had the same compliance issues (head down because of the way they took the picture, poor background and cropped hair). When I told the manager that it wouldn't work for my visa application, and that I thought they would have a standardized set-up for government issued ID pictures, he asked me to get out of his store. I tried to talk to him and explain that I just wanted the picture to pass the compliance screening on their computers (I really couldn't care less about how I looked). He got physically close to me as if he wanted to beat me and refused any form of communication, telling me to get out angrily in front of all the clients. I went back to my dorm shaking. While I know no-one from Walgreens upper management/ownership will ever read this message, I was very disturbed by this public form of humiliation, the rudeness and the complete lack of interest in communicating. I was treated worse than any living being would be, and he did so probably because he knew I was a foreigner - despite his visible ethnicity. To this manager: shame on you, may you just encounter people similar to you and feel the way I felt. I will never step foot ever again in this disgusting environment. If you want to avoid the trauma I went through, please find another store for your needs.

The worst pharmacy in Nj. Needed insulin syringes for my father the employee wouldn't sell them to me. The pharmacist doesn't have any idea what he's talking about. This is the first time I'm EVER having trouble getting them out of countless Walgreens that I've been to. Its always $3.19 for a 10 pack. Thanks for making me waste my gas and drive all the way to another Walgreens. Id*ots work at this location it's ridiculous. Not surprised they have horrible reviews smh

Worst pharmacy ever. Pharmacists are rude and act like they own Walgreens, making policies that don't exist and patronizing patients. Really rude staff and too many difficulties getting meds

Very happy with my experience at this particular Walgreens Pharmacy. I went in for a COVID shot and was received very well, the process was smooth and the vaccination a breeze. The young lady at the Pharmacy (who took down all the details, insurance card and also gave me the shot) was super helpful and diligent. I was a bit hesitant to go to this location, reading some of the negative reviews, so am making sure to post this because things seemed to have changed now (at least at the Pharmacy, I didn't interact with the cashier at all, so no idea if that has improved).

What a joke. Deserves a zero. Just spoke with the pharmacist on staff on aug 30th 2022 asking about my medication. She told me I should contact the doctor and when I was trying to explain that I called in to him but wanted to make sure. She cut me off and said bye. Very rude service. I was a pharmacy tech for 2 years, an MA and I'm in nursing school. And this place has the worst customed service. What a joke honestly I would have been fine with a simple im sorry it looks denied please call your doctor no need to be rude. Let's see if any manager wants to address this. Otherwise good luck your location is looking like a 1 star review soon.

Worst pharmacy ever. I have never in my life dealt with a more unprofessional pharmacist and staff. The ignorance. If you’re looking for quality health care, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The manager at this Walgreens is horrible. Doesn't know the difference between a manufacturer coupon and a register reward. Has no customer service and makes a customer feel so awkward and uncomfortable on what could had been a very simple transaction. Cant understand how a manager of a store doesnt understand what a digital coupon from Walgreens is. Horrible customer service, not the way to run a business.

Pharmacy service has gone steadily downhill since this Riteaid was taken over by Walgreens couple of years ago. Eliminated Rx drop off window, cut staff, messed up refill process on 10-year-old ongoing meds. I’m switching !

Worst customer service experience ever. I spoke with two different associates and both were very rude and not helpful at all. What’s the point of a store having associates if they’re not going to help the customers?

The worst Pharmacy!! I waited 30 minutes to drop off scripts only to be told that the system is down. Today is Wed and the rude, obnoxious Pharmacist - M. Patel suggests the system has been down since last Thurs (Really? almost a full week? during covid?) He shouted at me with his pupils dilated when delivering that message! His rabid disposition was not only unprofessional but scary. AVOID this pharmacy.

I had a COVID booster shot appointment for 5:20 today. I showed up and the pharmacy was shuttered with photocopied signs that it was temporarily closed. No advance communication by phone or email. The pharmacist rudely just said they would be open at 9am the next day. A steady line of people similarly affected started streaming in. Awful service.

I called to see who the manufacturer is for generic addreall XR in the store, and the pharmacist said they won't provide that information until a script is brought in (all 3 other Walgreens were happy to provide this information).Really?! Some generic manufacturers are clearly better than others for these types of products. Walgreens need to learn what customer service means!

The pharmacy recently changed the name from Rite Aid to Walgreens and it became a nightmare! They fill prescriptions without asking whether you had an insurance or not. I was the customer of the pharmacy for years and they told me me that they don't have my insurance information, and they just charged me $47 for the generic drug which should be $2 copay. I was in rush and realized that after I paid. They didn't even mention that the insurance information wasn't applied.Three phone calls and two in person visits (during the Covid-19 pandemic) and I am not yet recovered my money they stole from me.Needless to say that I will never use this pharmacy again.

The tall male pharmacist with an accent was extremely rude and disrespectful to one of my family members just because she didn’t understand something having to do with her insurance card. Im glad I wasn’t there because I def would rip that Mf a new one. Thats all I have to say.

Since it was converted to a Walgreens pharmacy prescription refills have been messed up almost every time - they just aren't filled and then once I realize, it takes several calls to sort out and then the refill date gets pushed back to a month from when they actually fill the prescription, which means you have fewer buffer pills each time. The store also has many lights that have been flickering for months - the worst is the one directly above the waiting line for the pharmacy, which is incredibly slow; nothing is done despite repeated requests to fix them as they are migraine-inducing.Update: After I transferred my prescriptions to Wegmans *and they were filled at Wegmans last month*, Walgreens filled one of my prescriptions and didn't even notify me! Now it can't be filled at Wegmans because insurance won't pay again. Apparently it was shipped to my old address, but it wasn't there when I checked the mail. They promised to immediately call the insurance company, to get an override so I can get my medicine before I run out, to call Wegmans and sort things out with the transfer, and to reimburse me for the cost of the medication I never received; but after a few days when I checked, Walgreens hadn't done ANY of these. I had to spend another many hours of calling all places involved and once again the date for when I can get a refill has been permanently pushed back - by almost 2 weeks on just this occasion.I wish I could rate negative stars this is so far beyond terrible and has permanently messed up my prescription; I now have so few pills left that further issues or needing a refill during a trip will mean that I will run out of the medication.

Awful. Every time I have had to use this pharmacy (I do try to avoid it) the staff is rude with no empathy for people. If a customer has a problem they evince little interest in helping them solve it. You would think they would have some kind of customer service training given that they deal with people who are ill or trying to manage the stresses of picking up medications and dealing with prescription plan coverage.

Walgreens has ruined the best pharmacy. For over a month their phone systems have been down in the pharmacy, so you have to walk in and tell them about your prescription and then go pick it up a second time. Completely insufficient. They don’t even alert you if your prescription is ready so you have to make a blind trip just to find that out

Since Walgreens has taken over this location the service at the pharmacy has deteriorated significantly. I have had numerous problems with standard refills that after 4 attempts MAY be resolved. The line at the pharmacy is always long and the wait time unacceptable. Today it was 12 deep and no less than 3 people left frustrated.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute nightmare!!! The store was closed when I went to try to pick up my prescription yesterday. I was forced to drive over because nobody would pick up the phone. Even though the hours stated the pharmacy was open until 9 PM. They apparently closed at 3 PM with zero notice?! Have tried calling all morning and nobody will pick up. Got someone for 2 second and they put me back on hold, no apology, nothing. I will be getting all my scripts from CVS now, not a chance I'm giving Walgreens my business. They completely mismanaged this transition. Needless to say, STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION!!!

Highly unprofessional and rude place. This is one pharmacy you definitely want to avoid at all costs if you are elderly or trying to get vaccinated. Looking at other reviews it was clear to me that I was not biased or unfair. The owner has no idea how to run a pharmacy or speak to people. He is rude, unprofessional and inexperienced, and lacks basic respect to customers.

Probably the worst pharmacy that you can imagine. Incompetent staff who don't understand you, and don't know what they are doing either. Even that they told you that they have made notes, and everything is done, you cannot count on them. You have to call multiple times to confirm. Once I wanted delivery other than pickup, and the staff told me that everything is set. I ask a few times and she confirmed that she needs nothing else form me. Then I asked "do you have my payment info?", and she said "yes, I need that". And still, when the prescription come in, it is a pickup, not mail delivery. I have to call again to correct. That is the level of confidence you have on them. Lol.

I have been shorted medication for my son twice! My son got the liquid suspension medication for strep. First time I ran out with 3 days left, I thought it was a fluke, now it's happened again. I still have 2 and a half days left of his 10 days! I could see being short one dose- but each time I'm short 5 doses!! And each time I run out; I have to pay for the Rx all over AGAIN!! The pharmacist blames me and my plastic dosing cup - well I tested it with Rite Aids using water and they measure the same. I'll never get a liquid suspension medication here again. I seem to have no luck with pharmacies. They are either incompetent or you have to wait hours to get your Rx filled.
