We bring out zoo (4 cats and 2 dogs) to Princeton animal hospital and have for the last year now. I don’t even know where to begin because we feel so lucky to have found a practice like this. To start, we have a very anxious, touch sensitive puppy who is not the easiest at the vet. Every vet we’ve seen is so accommodating and takes their time to make our pup feel as comfortable as possible - even offering happy visits where she can come in and just get treats and love. Second, we love that they have a separate entrance specifically for cats and make sure that the experience is as stress free as possible for them. Lastly, and maybe one of the biggest things, we got a shepherd mix in October, 4 days in we felt like something was wrong and took him in for his first visit. Immediately, they felt a mass and scheduled an emergency surgery the next morning. Because of how quickly this was found and how well they took care of our boy, we’re on month 6 post cancer diagnosis. Every member of the staff has treated us so well and loved on all of our animals. They truly care so much about them, take their time with each visit and always make sure to follow up and check in. Cannot recommend them enough!

We have three cats and have been going to Princeton Animal Hospital since 2020. We have been happy with their services, veterinarians and other staff members. Although they’re more expensive than the previous vet we used, we have appreciated the care they have provided. Well, that changed tonight and we aren’t sure that we will continue to bring our cats here.In summer 2021, they determined that one of our cats had a bowel obstruction after doing multiple ultrasounds and X-rays. Having just dealt with losing two family members, we couldn’t handle losing our young cat and paid for the surgery. All in, we paid about $8000 for multiple office visits and the surgery. The procedure was successful and our cat has been great until today.Today, our cat was showing the same symptoms that he had in summer 2021. We called during their listed business hours to bring him in and were turned away. Although they said it sounded urgent, they couldn’t see him and recommended we take him to an emergency veterinary office. When we called the emergency office they said, “Oh, was your office closed and their answering machine told you to come here?” This struck a chord with us. After years of visits and THOUSANDS of dollars spent, our trusted veterinary office turned us away during their business hours when we needed them most. We are extremely disappointed, especially after waiting for over four hours at the emergency vets office and paying $1200 to see staff we don’t know or trust.

I’ve used Carnegie Cat Clinic for many years and through multiple cats. I have found the veterinarians to be thorough, kind and caring. They communicate clearly about any care and treatment recommended. The staff is equally friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this practice!

They all were compassionate at the end of my little Torah's (cat) life. Dr Maegan Foley was very extra caring and allowed us to know exactly how she would handle Torah's last moments.

We had an urgent need for a second opinion for our cat and Princeton Animal Hospital fit us into the schedule and took a great amount of care in assessing my cats situation and offering multiple paths to heal her.

Absolutely love bringing my baby Cosmo here for his care! We’ve been coming for almost a year now and they are always so gentle, loving, and attentive to his needs! We always leave feeling like his health is in the best hands possible! They make us feel like they care about him just as much as we do and that’s not easy to find. I highly recommend coming here and especially to the cat clinic! Cosmo is always so comfortable in there and makes himself right at home every time ❤️ This is the picture of his very first visit!

So happy to have found our new vet! We recently adopted a Kitten who had something weird going on with her incision from being spayed. When not being able to get into any other vets, where they were not even taking new patients I gave Princeton Animal Hospital a call and so glad I did :). We got an appointment the same day, literally a few hours from when I called. Everyone working was very pleasant and helpful. Our kitty needed to be put on antibiotics, the tech was very helpful with tips and the run down of giving to her! Very friendly, clean environment. Came back for a follow up a week later and for some shots and still had the best experience. The techs and Doctor were very gentle and loving to our furr baby. So happy we have found our now new Vet. Thank you Princeton Animal Hospital. Buttercup is now a happy little girl🐾🐱

A wonderful, caring, and thorough veterinary practice. I have had multiple dogs in PAH's care over the years and their veterinary team is knowledgable, compassionate, and we've been lucky to share our dog's journey with them over the years, from the puppy days to the silver senior years.

The professional staff at Princeton Animal Hospital and Carnegie Cat Clinic have proved me more than one time how good, caring and knowledgeable they are.Two months ago I rescued an 8 year old chihuahua named Jalapeno. The dog was mistreated by its owners so badly....She had very bad teeth, a huge stone in her bladder and poor dog was leaking urine while sleeping.Along with the few surgeries that had to be done , Jalapeno and I had some emergency visits at the Princeton Animal Hospital as well. All the doctors, technicians and the sweet girls at the reception made me feel that she is in good hands and she will live. The caring attitude in person, the professional and satisfying fallow ups over an e-mail or/and phone and the quick recovery of my sweet girl Jalapeno proved me that I made the right choice to trust them all.Now Jalapeno has not only a new mama, but some more new friends at the Princeton Animal Hospital and Carnegie Cat Clinic. The pictures below show what she looked like when I first got her and who she is now - a happy, loved and healthy Jalapeno!I highly recommend the hospital!

Words cannot describe how good they have been to us! They treat my furbabies as if they were their own. I’ve been going to them for 10+ years. I am so very, very grateful and thankful to them and for them for the outstanding care they’ve given us over the years.

Extremely professional and loving staff! They received Tally with warm arms and attend to her needs each visit. They ensure to inform you right away on steps and procedures they recommend for her and will be taking for her well being! My husband and I are happy with our choice of medical care for Tally! We highly recommend their service's other families!

If someone asks a or a family member to make an appointment from them. They should have oblige for that instead of telling them. We are busy at the moment. Do you want to aborad the cat or come back a little later. Thanks to the other tech who said I made an appointment for the cat I just adopted for the first time.

Dr Megan Ogers is the best vet .. both in expertise and empathy. Very sensitive when we had to put our 15 yr old ailing pet Lily down.

The vets here are amazing. They helped us when our older dog passed away and are taking great care of our other two dogs. I’ve even called them for help when our beagle dug up bunnies from our yard. Highly recommend them!

I have been going to Princeton Animal Hospital for years. The doctors are all great and they have really long hours. Sunday morning emergency? No problem. They are there anyway. Highly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my dog there since he was about 11 weeks old (Nov 2019); there’s never been a time or emergency I’ve had where I’ve not been able to be seen. Just recently, they fit me in same day because they felt based on our conversation, it was necessary to see him. Thankfully the visit did the trick. They may be a little higher in terms of pricing than others, but you get what you pay for- never been a time I’ve dropped him off inside (during Covid) by himself in the care of the staff where I wasn’t sure if he’d be okay. My dog gets excited to go in and see his favorite doctor, Dr. Stevko. He loves the staff and like children, dogs that don’t like people tell you a lot- he absolutely adores them. Furthermore their follow up is incredible. They always call to see how he’s doing after an appointment. They’re always thorough and explain everything in detail.

Newest update (7/22): I wish I could give them 10 stars out of 5. We had to put our oldest dog down (semi-suddenly) just yesterday and they have been more supportive and helpful than I could have even hoped.New update (4/22): We've been taking our oldest dog here (almost 7yo) since he was a puppy and even though we moved further away a few years ago, we still drive the extra distance to go here. They are amazing, they truly care about our pups, and they make sure to keep in contact (unlike an emergency hospital we had to deal with recently). Having a phone number we can call 24/7 is certainly a huge plus, as well.

My husband and I recently got a tri-color Australian Shepherd puppy. His name is Porter. Last week we took him to his first vet appointment at Princeton Animal Hospital & Carnegie Cat Clinic. While it is quite far from our home (approximately 2 hrs), we felt strongly it would be the best place for Porter. We know Dr. Bishop personally, and she is a wonderful, kind friend. Now we know the same to be true of her professionally. Dr. Bishop is an excellent veterinarian. She was so great with Porter (picture says it all!), and equally as great with us first time puppy parents. We got answers to all of our questions and then some.We are very happy with our choice in vet clinics and would recommend Dr. Bishop and the rest of the team at Princeton Animal Hospital & Carnegie Cat Clinic to any pet owners!

I've been coming to Princeton Animal Hospital and Carnegie Cat Clinic for almost two years now. One of my cats is very ill--final stages of renal failure, thyroid condition, issues with eating so I've been here to see more than one of the vets, had blood work, urine samples given, etc. Overall, the vets are great. They listen carefully and are truly responsive to the issues that I've faced. I'm grateful that when I've called, someone has called back. There have been a few glitches along the way with medications, refills, etc.--no place is perfect--but everyone seems to be trying their best. I like the fact that they have hours on the weekends!!

I have been entrusting the care of my kitties to Carnegie Cat Clinic for over 20 years! The late Farrah (KitKit) and White Cat, and now Mork and Mindy. They clearly love all the kitties and make what could be a stressful situation as calm as possible! Wonderful care!

Everyone at this office is very kind and nice and understanding to me and my pet. No pet enjoys the vet, yet my scared cat (and me) were treated with comfort and kindness and Jacky was in very good hands. I feel very confident with the treatment that the Vet advised for us, and I'm very glad I found this place. My cat Jacky thanks you.

Zero stars. BEWAREWorst veterinary experience I’ve ever had. Brought my dog to get neutered, internal stitches came out. Brought him back due to bleeding. Was advised by Princeton animal hospital that they didn’t have the staff to fix what they had done. Sent me to an emergency hospital. I had to pay an additional $5200 for my dog to get the previous surgery right. Princeton animal hospital took NO responsibility whatsoever. They refuse to pay the hospital bill. When I tried reaching out to them I was transferred around like I had the plague. After many many many attempts I finally got through to the “manager” who was just as useless as the hospital itself. Stay away if you love your pet.It took me three days and approximately 25 phone calls to finally get in touch with your “manager”. Are you telling me something has changed? She was not very helpful and took no responsibility at all. Do you have a solution??
