What a great staff! My puppy had worms and the clerk helped me find the best remedy for my little guy. The prices are competitive, the specials and rewards are great too. Love taking the kids to just walk around and look at the fish, birds, lizards and whatever else they have to check out. Kittens are pretty cute too.

Grooming was strangely aggressive. My puppy immediately started shaking when I dropped him off for the last time. On pick up (took about an hour and a half which is half of what I expected from the last petsmart groomer) the groomer told me that he was difficult and they needed an extra hand. The cut was poor and sloppy.I also witnessed a groomer who was not nice at all with another dog on the grooming table. I've decided to not return and to share this experience. If your dog is young or not too tolerant, find somewhere that has more patience and professionalism.

The store is very clean, organized, and super sweet staff. My only issues are that they don't have a lot of diversity in products (that you find in the small businesses) and they are short staffed (so you have to wait a bit for adoptions, live food for reptiles, fish, assistance finding something, and general around the store help). When the staff finally gets to you, they are the nicest people on the planet and make the wait seem not so bad after all.

Got the princess puppy some yummy delicious treats. Parking was ample for the Holidays Seasons, Lines went very quickly, plenty of cashier's. We parked CIA style around in the back parking lot. If you're a savvy Google Maps operator you'll have no problem finding the sweet spots. Easy on easy out.

Literally paid $198 for 2 bags of kibble. This is ridiculous. I had sent my brother to go in. The bags used to be $50 to $60. Returning right away and yeah, I need the food for my dog but the price is ridiculous. You tell me they will charge me $200 for 2 bags of kibble ?!!

I’ve gone to PetSmart a few times since moving back to NJ. The staff I’ve met so far have all been extremely pleasant. Because of my positive experiences, I look forward to my regular shopping trips there.

Worst place ever. Took my dog today a pedigree golden retriever to BRIAN for the common service, asked him to cut just the tips of his hair clarifying "not a haircut", he performed in my dog the worse cut I ever seen in my life!!!!!not only he disgraced his appearance but also leaved him irregular cuts all around his body, showed it to him to adjust it, when I saw what he was doing I stopped him in order to avoid leaving my dog like a boxer.AMAZING that you have this kind of personnel, unprofessional and unskilled and have the face to charge for the service.NEVER USE THIS PLACE!!!

The ladies at the front desk are always great: at check-in and check-out. My dog was there way too long though, considering that he had a heart mermer, so the Dr. couldn't do the teeth clean, which that part was understandable. Otherwise, my dog just got a yearly vaccination. I dropped him off at 7:30, and when 3:15 came and no call or anything, I called them. Very frustrating. Plus, they hadn't done an ear cleaning, which I asked for & was told they'd do. They did do that, though, but needed 45 minutes more. Normally, there were no issues with my dog's vet visits, but they did apologize, and it had been a busy day of surgeries. I mainly felt bad for my dog, who was 15, and had not had food that morning as he was going to be under anesthesia. He drank a bowl and a half of water too, which made me think he hadn't gotten any. 😥

This PetSmart is staffed by very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They make you feel welcome in their store. Store is set up for easily finding what you need and appears neat and clean. Feel good about shopping here.

Great selection of fish. Barely any birds. It's always nice to see all the pets walking around. They had an adoption activity going so there were alot of great animals around looking for a new home.

had an extremely poor experience with the grooming salon at this location. They refused service to my fur baby because he was scared of the water. We took him to the grooming salon in the bridgewater location all the time before we moved. Since moving we decided to give the Princeton locations try since they are closer to our home. But clearly, they are not trained properly. Very poor experience.

We just had the worst experience at the grooming department. And now reading through the reviews it’s clear that this location just prefers not to deal with puppies. The first red flag should have been that we were not even acknowledged when we first walked in. We had a first visit appointment for a bath, nails, ears, and trim. Our 4 month old labradoodle did have some mats and we pointed them out. The treatment that we received after that point was awful. We were berated and chastised. They said that the only way to resolve this would be a “medical shave”. Mind you, we have been to the vet every 2 weeks. They sent us on our way and refused to even give him a bath or trim his nails. We immediately called our vet who suggested we find a different groomer. These people were aggressive and rude and now reading the reviews im glad we didn’t leave him there. The physical condition of the facility was also filthy. In reality, they just didn’t want to deal with the work at the end of the day and we will not return.

Online orders are never fulfilled in a timely manner. Like literally order the day before. There also seems to be no organization to picking up. Waiting in a long checkout line to pickup my order up only to find out it’s not ready. Then I ended up having to buy more food for that day because I couldn’t pick up the order that I already paid for. If the service isn’t convenient what’s the point?

The vet is a waste of money. 1. Nobody will ever pick up the call. I made a appointment by walk-in. 2. Cost over 90 dollars for a check up. The doctors only weight the kitten and check the cat with her hands without any equipment for less than five minutes. 3. The kitten had worm. I had to request the deworm medicine byself. And worse deworm Medicine the doctor prescribed didn’t work. I had to buy other deworm medicine from another place. So never go back.

I enjoy shopping at PetSmart because they usually have a good selection of canned cat food and I get to visit the adoption area.We have adopted several cats from this PetSmart and they have been healthy.

Dog was traumatized during grooming. Warned them multiple times about his arthritis and to be gentle with joint movements. Also that he in a little bit of a mood and that if he was not okay with the grooming that I would pick him up immediately. Instead I got a call over 2.5 hours later saying they weren't able to finish the grooming (no nail trim, paw pad hair trim, teeth brushing, or ear cleaning) because he was snapping and growling at them. When I arrived he was STILL WET. He desperately needed to pee and was limping so badly that after he peed I had to carry him to the car. Not sure what they were doing for 2.5 hours but despite trying to retrain him to be tolerant with basic grooming he continues to exhibit a trauma-fear response to nail trimming. Its been months now and our continued struggles have led to vet and I discussing need to sedate my elderly dog to do basic grooming.

They refused to groom my puppy due to the vaccine record from an out of state vet bearing different requirements than the state of NJ. The document should be one page not 3, the dose should be 1 year not 3 doses over 3 years, the pets name and doctor's signature has to be on one page. All the rules kept changing as I spoke to different associates and manager's. I took off work and my dog is still not groomed.Update: The next day, I went to another dog groomer with the exact same veterinarian notes, mission accomplished!These people are just rude as previously stated by other reviewers!

The staff is extremely helpful and everytime I visit I feel safe and happy with my pet supply choices. I love my pets and Petsmart is always a reliable source for all my pet needs. However, my one gripe is that the staff be paid more for their hard work. 15 dollars an hour was sufficient 10 years ago.When ever you're at this store please treat the staff with respect and be very kind to them. They are working their butts off. Also, join the fight to help get them better pay.
