STOP & SHOP has always been a bit pricey, but they have great selections of products!Today was my first time shopping at this location. The store is clean, well organized, great staff, and they even have the robot thing going around the store! 😍😍😍I love STOP & SHOP ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘!!!

I got Boar’s Head turkey from the grab and go section and it did not come sliced. There is no indication on the packaging that it isn’t sliced. I tried to slice it on my own and i cut my finger. I can’t fathom why the deli section would put out a half a pound of deli meat unsliced without even labeling it. Even if someone did have a deli slicer, i doubt they’d be going to the store to buy a half pound of deli meat to slice at home. It makes absolutely no sense. I spent $10 on this meat and cut my finger. I also am just questioning their intelligence here. I just don’t get why you would put this on a grab and go shelf. It is nonsensical. I want to know why more than anything. I don’t want a refund, I genuinely just want to know the reason. The photos posted are after I already tried to slice it on my own fyi.

I’ve been trying to give this store the benefit of the doubt for years and finally last weekend, I officially give up. No matter what day of the week you go (bc at some point I HAVE gone on any given day), there’s absolutely no produce, no options of typical grocery store items, or if they do have 2-3 items of produce in any given item, it is moldy or rotten. There are NEVER any produce bags and all the weigh scales for produce are out of order accept 1. I went to the deli counter last week to get products and I entered in my number for the in store mobile place and pick up as I did my shopping, after 20 minutes I returned to the counter and it was not yet done. When I asked about it, the one woman behind the counter that was filling orders (who repeatedly took customer after customer standing at the deli rather than completing the orders when they were placed, like mine)… she informed me that she is the only one working and she hasn’t even checked the mobile orders. I then returned in 10 more minutes to find it still not done. Turns out even employees don’t want to go to this place. I then went to check out where the young employee didn’t even greets me at the register. She began checking out the groceries as I quickly took my groceries from my cart to the belt. The groceries pilled up as the woman at the next register over just stood there watching. I then ran to bag my items because counter space was running out. My check out girl finished and watched m quickly bag all my stuff as there was a line of customers piling up behind me. When I had 2 groceries left she said “I can do that for you”. I said nope, I’ve done all these so far. This store is absolutely gross, with little to now staff, no happy hour employees, no bags for produce, no helping the customers (and who would when you’re over worked). Do not go here!!! It’s horrible!!

Just came back from stop and shop, not one cashier working at 8pm. What a complete Joke. Can't get anyone to stand there for $15 an hour to do nothing???

I was looking for an item and went to customer service to ask if they may have it in stock. The sales associate didn’t bother asking anyone to check if it might be in stock or check the inventory. I definitely wouldn’t go back to this location ever again!

I like going to this location on 23 in Pompton. The employees are nice and the store is clean! I decided to post a review today though because of one of the cashiers. Her name is Robbin and I have had her as a cashier a few times since I go here frequently. Every time she is super nice, but tonight she went beyond and asked if I wanted some paper towel to wrap the rotisserie chicken in and then wrapped it for me so it doesnt leak on the drive home. This may be very simple and not a big deal to many, but when I am having an off day, this was very helpful! Thank you and continue hiring good people! Kindness goes a long way!

I'm giving them 3 stars - although if you like StopnShop it's a great store. It's clean, employees are friendly and helpful. They are having the same problems every store around here is having getting deliveries so sometimes they are out of things - but so is everyone else. It's very close so I will run in if I'm out of milk or bread but I don't shop there. It's just too expensive. Shop Rite is just a bit further and a whole lot less expensive.The deli doesn't have as many choices as the Shop Rite and the prices are ridiculous. I can always get American cheese for almost half the cost at Shop Rite. It's a nice store if you don't care how you spend your money. It's a shame they have such high prices.Update: Prices are up everywhere but this is insane. Almost $9 for a package of orange cranberry muffins! That's just way too high. I guess I'll be giving up that treat! Shame - the muffins are great here.

Nice store needs to add more real life checkout personal. And personal that bag.They need a Manager who can oversee the problem and recognize that there is a problem. Poor Management. Cashier s need to be more helpful when it comes to customer service.

Clean and organized store. They have mostly everything you need in stock at this location.The employees are very helpful, as it’s not my regular store and layout was different .Only con is that there is always only 2 people working here at checkout but self checkout were open

This store is not customer friendly. Last visit to this store was my last. I scanned my card to use the portable scanner and tried to grab some shopping bags to use as I shopped through the store. What I got was a employee with a foot on the box of bags telling me I can't have any bags that I needed to go to the front desk. Over to the desk I went, told the clerk what I was told and asked for bags.i requested at least 8 bags. Clerk handed me about 5 and told me I would have to come back to the desk if I needed more. I was told the manager had instructed the employees to conserve on bags. Well the manager just lost a loyal customer.

for almost 3 years it was the only place where I did my shopping, but lately I have not been there anymore; the increased prices, missing products and empty shelves from the pasta department to the milk and meat department were missing so many things. twice that then I buy a few things and then I have to go to another supermarket.

Super stop m shop- extremely clean, food is always fresh and delicious— Friendly stag , Great customer service, if you can’t find something or they don’t have it, provide them with the name of the item and they will order it for you.. parking lot it extremely big, great location..This is the only supermarket I know that’s truly kid friendly, they have the car seat holder for infants on the carriage ,, witch allows more room for groceries.Keep up the fantastic job!!

Why do we, the customer, have to hear "clean-up on aisle three" over the airways all the time? Isn't that like airing your dirty laundry? I want to hear some relaxing music while I shop.......channel that stuff to the person in charge of clean up, which is not the customer!Update: Wow, what a different shopping experience. Nice low music and not the constant blaring of clean up some aisle.......thank you!Update #2: Well that didn't last long, back to hearing that you need to clean-up your dirty store several times while shopping......

The organic produce whenever I stop in, usually once a week, is always in nonedible state. This is true of both stop and shops I frequent. I have to go to whole foods to get good organic veggies and fruits. I don't know what can be done to have fresher organic vegetables at stop and shop. There is usually a solution. I feel the store should remove the noticably old vegetables and not have them displayed.

Large store should have everything you need. Because ACME in Morris Plains was forced to close I had to find a new grocery store to do my weekly shopping. I began going to Shop Rite which is about a mile away from my house. Although mostly crowded and long lines at checkout I withstood it for the last eight months. One day I decided to go a little out of my way to Stop and Shop located on Speedwell ave and Rt.10. It was like a breath of fresh air. No long lines no one bumping into my cart or racing to the checkout line. The atmosphere there was calming and friendly. My new place to shop!!

This is a decent-sized Stop & Shop with a large selection located in a strip mall with many stores to visit.while we find the prices could be better compared to other supermarkets, this location is clean and well organized.Don't forget to watch out for Marty the robot has he looks for spills or dropped items.🤖

I have been searching for 6 months for a particular juice and none of my 3 local Stop & Shops have had it in stock or called, as promised, when it came in or had been discontinued. On my way to an appointment, saw this store across the highway and on the off chance, did a U-turn and was thrilled to find RW Knudsen's Apple Ginger juice. Store was clean, aisles organized for social distancing and staff helpful

Although I live in Kinnelon, which has a store very convenient for me, I prefer going to Pompton Plains. The produce section is much fresher, aisles are roomy, it's always better stocked, has a bigger variety of everything and the parking lot is better graded.

Good place to shop for healthier foods at lower cost since wegmans and whole foods are so far away. Stop & Shop is a better grocery store. This particular store has owners/managers who actually care about the produce they offer. Unlike the other local Stop & Shop that leaves rotting produce and keeps the prices high anyway... not this one. They do their best to keep it fresh.

I needed some essential items today so I had no choice. There were multiple shoppers inside the store with no masks on. This is very disappointing that the mandate is not being enforced in your store. Yes there was an announcement made regarding the new mandate but no one did anything about the customers with no masks. This puts your employees and your customers at risk!

Nice place. Great selection. But it was laid out differently than the one closer to my grandparents. So my sister and I never knew where to go. My advice is to go to the store you know rather than if the store is right there.

I went to buy Milk and ended up buying milk that was expired for the last nine months. When I went to get my money back, instead of apologizing and assuring that nothing like this will ever happen again he rolled his eyes and said it’s not his problem. Fellow shoppers. Check your milk expiration dates. It seems people here are incompetent of customer service/support. Very unprofessional and rude.

Lol...This place is crazy expensive. Just traveled from the w coast. I am in a RV so I have been stopping and buying groceries at different places. This is the most expensive store I have been in( so bad I walked out without purchasing anything..lol)....I looked at Mio drops...on SALE 2/$6.00...( everyday price is $3.99)..I have not payed above $2.98 across the entire country....coffee.....$4.95....tops Ive payed is $3.49... just 2 Items I was looking for. Went to Walmart and Mio was $2.98.....so what gives...if the employees are being payed exceptionally well.... I would go back to support them...but I WILL NOT SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT FILLS ITS CORP POCKETS AT THE EXPENSE OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE. I have read other reviews...what other stores are you comparing it to? Like I said, I have been traveling the country and found great service and quality but without the high prices.( This includes states on the east coast)

nice clean store.review your receipt before you leave the store.my experience was i gave coupon and stp n shp card cashier ignored me. he ignorned the fact i asked him 3 xs did you use it?over $21! i had to go back and get.i like to have a good experience during covid because thesupermarket is my outing.pay them better.train them better
