Just a charming and cozy book store in one of my favorite shore towns. My girlfriend and I were making a leisurely drive home from the Allaire Community Farm holiday village and happened across this gem of an old-school, locally owned bookstore. It has a nice atmosphere, with lots of comfortable spaces to read and a well curated selection of titles. The owner is friendly and warm and clearly loves what she does. I purchased a couple of books that I probably wouldn't even have noticed at B&N or another large book store. Highly recommended for any avid reader!

What a nice bookstore and coffee shop! It's no longer called the little point bookstore (called Boostore or Bookstone Coffee or something) but it's super cute inside with a wide assortment of books and ecclectic seating to relax. There's a coffee area in the back that makes really good coffee drinks that are sweetened just right and served with a very nice roast. We ended up buying a bag of their beans which smell amazing. We found a nice book on breadmaking which we bought but they had children's books, ya novels, poetry, pop culture books, and a wall of other fiction options as well. Would definitely go back her and wish it was local. Staff was super friendly as well.

this place is a hidden gem!! the coffee beverages are made to order with high quality ingredients and the environment is like that of a stepping right into a boom and getting lost in it. cannot recommend that you stop in and grab a book and a coffee more!

This is the cutest & most spacious little book shop without all of the noise like Barnes & Noble. Such a nice little spot right in town. Came here for a book signing & reading for Sand Sea & Rescue by Greg Andrus, it was a beautiful night with a great turn out!

They have added a coffee bar that should bring more potential customers😊 we live in Cranford NJ so we can’t go as often as I would like. Whenever we take a trip down to Point Pleasant we always make sure to stop in

What a great bookstore. owners are so friendly and laid back. Also, very knowledgeable. Great selection of books and gifts. Don't leave without getting a cup of coffee from the coffee bar in the back. Excellent coffee!

A terrific bookstore! What a warm, charming vibe. The owner, is helpful and informative but manages to be laid back too. The shop has unique baby gifts, puzzles, a well defined children's section, a good adult selection, a cozy couch, and opportunities to meet authors and connect others in the sweet community of Point Pleasant. Definitely stop here when you hit Point!

In the day and age of Amazon prime and the quick dopamine hit of 2 day shipping it would be easy to dismiss the local bookstore as a relic of retail days gone by.But to dismiss a stores value on that alone leaves you blind to discovering what a bookstore can really be. Yes of course you get your latest reads in the form it was always mean to be read in, with wonderful cover art and pages that beg to be dog eared. But it's also a place for the community to come and meet local (and not so local) authors, a place to feel free in your passions and expression of the human experience through one of our most powerful mediums: words.Capitalism may keep the lights on for all of us but our greatest achievements as a species and culture are made through art, community and collaboration; all of which can be found at the Little Point Bookshop.

Came to Point Pleasant for the seafood festival and discovered this charming little bookstore! Books are my love! I found three on this visit. They stock both new and used books and one of my purchases was a beautiful illustrated copy of "Evangeline," dating from 1911, for a very reasonable price. The proprietor is a lovely, gracious young woman. This place is great!

Adorable shop with an excellent selection in all different categories: beach reads, non-fiction, children's books, etc. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Not only did the owner have my intended buys in stock, she also had good suggestions for a gift based on the recipient's favorite books. I also bought a cute puzzle for my shore weekend.

I came across this hidden gem while visiting the Seafood Festival. Just a great place! Lots of variety. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Point Pleasant area.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bookshop! When I needed a good book recommendation, the owner gave me plenty of suggestions. The book I was looking for was out of stock and she went out of her way to let me know it was in. She even wrapped the book in beautiful paper and tied up with string for me as it was a gift. Such caring people with a great selection. Thank you for all you do!
