Nice grocery store near the beach! Has plenty of items. Friendly staff and helpful if you need anything. Prices are little advice average but i assume is because of being by the shore.

This Stop n Shop needs a revamp. It is out dated and needs upgrading. As I only shop here when I need something super quick or just one thing there is always an issue with purchasing. Todays issue 02/06/24 purchased peppers and there was a little bit of mold in the bag, snap peas and they were rotten and EXPIRED. I will no longer shop here even it's for the smallest thing.

I have been shopping in this store for years. It is the most efficient use of space of any supermarket I have ever been in. But, most importantly, the people who work here are amazing.I recently dropped my wallet in the store while checking out. I did not notice it missing until much later that day. I called the store and the checkout personnel gave the wallet to the store manager who put it in the safe. Nothing missing.This is a great, compact Stop and Shop with trustworthy, kind, friendly employees.Thank you!

I would give zero stars if possible. My mom and I went there a few days ago and bought broccoli that ended up having all these little bugs in it. The bugs were only visible after my mom started cutting the broccoli to put it in the pasta. She had to throw it away, and when I went back to the store, they didn’t give me a refund. Not only that, but they didn’t care at all that their broccoli had bugs in it. They didn’t pull any of it off the shelves. They just didn’t seem to believe me at all. All they said was that they couldn’t help me. So their produce section is still full of bugs and worms for all I know. The customer service representative had an attitude. I really had a bad experience at this location.For some reason when I went to a different Stop & Shop, they were able to give me a refund for the broccoli I bought at the Point Pleasant Beach location even though I didn’t have a receipt. Most Stop & Shops are fine, it’s only the Point Pleasant one that’s awful.

Store is tiny but it's a shore town grocery store so there is going to be limited space for businesses. They have everything you could want while away on vacation to make a meal and thought process were reasonable. Staff was extremely nice and helpful!

This store usually has a slim selection, we have found expired food on the shelves on numerous occasions, and it smells dirty. The employees I've encountered are rude and seem bothered. I'll run to this store in a pinch but If I need to go to Stop & Shop I prefer to go to the one in Point Boro instead.

I might give them 4.5 stars if I could. It's a surprisingly good little store, very well stocked (kudos to whoever's managing that). Just could use a little updating, maybe a bright coat of paint and some more modern signs. At first glance it seemed a little run down and neglected, but when I really looked they had an amazing variety of products, organic, vegan, decent sales, carefully arranged in a rather tight space. It worked really well for me; I was staying nearby with no car, just a bike, and I was able to get everything I needed. There's little bike rack just outside.

Small store but you can get what you need. However, they may need to check the check out employees. Not very friendly at all.... Yawning, no response when I said "Hello" and acting like I was an inconvenience. Not a good feeling when spending money at your store. At least she kind of said "have a good day," but did she really mean it?

It would be pleasant if the deli had somewhat standard hours so I know when I’m able to go. Monday I went in at 915pm and was told it closed at 9pm. Tonight I went in at 820pm and was told it closed at 8pm. Not sure why this is so hard, but perhaps post the hours somewhere if they’re variable and different than the main store. Will save me an extra drive to shoprite.

Very small store. I would not call it "super" anything. Narrow aisles and selection is limited due to size. Couldn't get cans of iced tea or lemonade even 2 days after July 4. Slow to restock. But it's very convenient to the Point Pleasant Beach area.

always come here for grocery shopping, wide variety of vegan options which i greatly appreciate. mostly clean every visit, the arrows in each isle are a bit confusing and if go the wrong way they will say something to you. but other then that very good. i like to see they are taking precautions when checking out/going into the store with covid -19.

Clean and well stocked store for it's size. The staff give the corporate brand a small town feel with their friendly and always helpful attitudes. It is a huge plus that the store has such great employee retention.

The store is convenient, the parking is convenient, and the cashiers are friendly....HOWEVER, the DELI employees are in need of RE-TRAINING (or just training in general) and need to take a class on customer service... or get a different job. They are all rude and act like you are bothering them when you ask for a lb of roast beef. Management is never around and does not seem to care to oversee or help the situation. Last week I actually stood there and waited while 2 employees were having a personal conversation and they clearly saw me waiting to order, but finished their conversation first and then said "yes"...not "Good Morning", not "can I help you", not "what can I get for you"...just "YES" with the attitude that they were doing me a favor by taking my order. This has not happened once or twice and it is not 1 deli employee...it is all of them and this happens very very often....if they worked for me, they would all be fired...as I care about my customers and expect my employees to respect my customers. I think the management in this store is non-existent and needs to be changed or trained as well. If the proper management was there overseeing this, it would not happen. SO now I have to drive 2 miles out of my way to ShopRIte.

Store is extremely small with narrow aisles, limited selection, and VERY dirty. No room to push a shopping cart without maneuvering around products and other people with carts. Most of the employees are very rude as well. Not a friendly neighborhood store. I used to run here in a pinch for small things but after several bad experiences, I'll just drive out of town and save myself the hassle.

No cleanser avail to clean shopping carts. No social distances practices adhered to. The cashier needs to grab your keys for discounts( which I would have had rather forgone) . Not goin goin back till vaccine is out lol- not feeling safe there. Compared to FT sea girt — night and day.

I have been shopping here since 1996. Last week my husband bought 3 pounds of ground beef to make burgers. When he came home I opened the package & the meat was rancid..I returned to the store with a receipt(not 10 minutes later) I asked for a refund, or another fresher package & I was abruptly told" to take it back home & freeze it until Covid was over"..How & why would you put the meat on display knowing that it was bad & wouldn't be able to return??? This isn't the only time I was back for a refund...We bought small cans of v8 last summer and when we got it home, there were spiders in between the cans & plastic wrap...we were able to get our money back...but, something needs to change here!

Quick & convienant. Great for picking up last minute items for weekend or just everything you need. It's a small store but you usually can get what you need. A old time grocery store before the "mega-stores" came along.

Good store has a little less then the other stop and shops due to space but does try and accommodate. Parking is alot easier then the parking on burnt tavern. Does not have scanners to be able to shop with.
