The owner, Chad, at Bain's Hardware in Pt Pleasant Beach, took the time to check what I had for sizing and proceeded to order me exactly what I needed. Yes it took him 5 minutes to find it but he was happy to help me. They are not the largest hardware store but very accommodating and happy to help. Thanks again Chad!

Support your local stores. Bains Hardware located in the middle of Point Pleasant Beach has always been a hardware store. It was closed before Bain's saved it from a developers death. Bain's does a nice job balancing tourism needs and general goods with actual paint and hardware. So whether you are repairing, fishing, swimming, boating or just passing through, Bain's should have what you are looking for

This is more than a hardware store. Have all types of products for sale. Staff is friendly and helpful. Aisles are a little small but full of things you may want or just to browse through.

Purchased a 50' Apex garden hose with a lifetime replacement warranty.Hose was 7 years old and had several holes in it.I brought hose with receipt and original packaging back to them and requested a replacement.Clerk said it should not be a problem.He got the manager who seemed annoyed that I had the receipt.He stated he would not honor the guarantee as he didn't have that hose in stock and he didn't own the store at time of purchase.I stated that he was still an Apex distributor and should honor it.He said he would not and walked away.I said this is not a good business practice.He said sorry you feel that way.Totally rude.Don't shop here

The sales team does not know how to read a tape measure I asked for a 4 by 3 piece of chicken wire and ended up with a 3 by 3. I guess they're okay in a pinch but if you have time to go somewhere else

A local hardware store owned by the Bain Family...they have been operating there flagship hardware store in Sea Bright for over 20 plus years and now opened in Point Pleasant several years ago......from Hardware,, Plumbing , screen repairs, Benjamin Moore Paints, Weber Grills to Beach accessories and nick nacks they have so much to offer.
