Very nice and clean place š And you will find what you expect, It's going to get only two stars because of the rude Service, on My way back home, From my nephew soccer game, I found this place a very convenient, To bad the person on the Registred, Named Azia, She should have been trained to be less Rude with customers, And she needs to have a little more patient, A place like this should have a better customer service.

I donāt even want to give Petco one star. They have expired food on the shelf, one of them expired in 2022.They started this sale 7/4, trying to convince people they are getting a good deal when in reality youāre getting expired food. I informed a worker of this and she could care less. She continued on with what she was doing.Expired food isnāt good for humans but good for animals? Absolutely sickening.

10/12/23 around 5pm I made a Spur of the moment purchase for my son to get a 40 gallon semi aquatic tank. (Shouldāve made my husband get it lol) but everyone from the cashier with the lovely locs (forgot to get her name) and Shawn were of great assistance all the way to helping me get the tank in the car .. thank you again ladies and pet co of watchung. My son is going to love it !

The person at the register was also helping someone find something. She was very patient, finished with that customer & then spent a while going through every tag in the box until she found the one I needed. She then made sure I was not having any problems with printing the ID.

I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store. I visited with the intention of purchasing a fish.What frustrated me was the fact that the staff member took an extended period of time talking on her phone while I was left waiting. As a customer, I expected more attention and efficiency, especially when making a purchase. Feeling ignored and frustrated, I ultimately decided to leave the store without making a purchase.Customer service plays a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience, and unfortunately, my recent visit fell short of my expectations.

I wasnāt in Petco long I ran in to pick up my order. However the young man that helped me was polite and very nice. I didnāt catch his name but he deserves a shout out and weāll a raise for being so polite and helpful. To the young gentleman working 1st Saturday on August 12th, 2023 thank you. Otherwise my order was ready, as I already knew, from what I could see the store was immaculate and it was huge. If I had pets and lived in North Plainfield NJ I would shop there regularly!

The WORST experience, customer service, zero! The "manager" AZIA is the rudest person you'll ever meet and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks like me because her name appears here multiple times. She just acts like she hates her job and everyone around her.

The store is brand new and fully stocked with livestock and pet supplies. Unfortunately they no longer carry the one dog food I buy (Solid Gold Fit and Fabulous)We like to take our grandson to Birds by Joy for fantastic birds and Ocean Gallery for marine fish and corals. Now we can add PetCo for wonderful reptile - so much more convenient than the Bronx Zoo.The people there are animal lovers so of course they are very nice and the fish expert is fun to talk fish with!

Usually has a good selection of items to purchase. The employee are always very helpful and friendly.Main complaint is the live aquarium section frequently has a lot of dead/dying stock. I recently went to investigate getting a snail š and none were in good enough condition to purchase.

Clown establishment. Scheduled a grooming for my dog and 2 hours before the appt they call and say angela the groomer called out sick. Rescheduled for 2 weeks later. 2 hours before appt they called and said Angela called out sick. āNot a common cold she has.ā Give better notification, clowns. If angela is gonna be out for an extended period of time, STOP SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS FOR HER! Stop scheduling the appts and then calling 2 hours before to cancel, clowns.

The worst Petco store Iāve ever been too! Donāt go , they donāt care about your pet. They hurt my dog and helped him only after I asked for them to take him to the doctor! They never reached out after I asked for a manager to call me back after the incident! This store is a joke!

The best Petco for the unemployed people! They are NEVER OPEN. Mon-Fri 10 AM- 6 PM. During those hours most people are at work. Save yourself the time go straight to PetSmart.

Came in, immediately greeted by Benn, before I even had to ask he started up a conversation and helped me find the things I needed for the new dog I'm adopting. Despite being busy he came went back and forth from other people to me making sure I had what I needed, he checked me out swiftly.Overall the store was lacking in staff, I only saw one person on the floor helping everyone, he seemed overwhelmed and I heard him page for help, in the 30 minutes I was there he was still the only one I saw helping anyone.Because of this, service was slow, there was a line building up behind me at the register. They seem very understaffed.Overall, I'd come back if I didn't live closer to the another store.Thanks Benn for all your help, keep it up. š

The only good thing I can say about this store is that they have a great selection of products and it's always clean. Now, let's talk about the employees: Atrocious, nasty, unfriendly attitudes the moment you ask a question or need any assistance. I've been coming here randomly for about 3 years. And it has never improved. It's almost as if they made being unpleasant a hiring requirement.When I was on the hunt for a job, this was one of the places I applied. When I came to speak to the manager, the employee in the front had the nastiest attitude and DID NOT enjoy having to grab the manager...even though they had NOW HIRING signs all over the place. When I did speak to the manager. She gave me the run around about having to fill out a different application form etc etc - basically trying to say anything and everything to get me to give up on trying to work there. I ended up finding a different, better job. However, this morning I came to the store to buy some kitten supplies and a crate/playpen. I simply asked the cashier where I could find soft sided crates or playpens. The answer and attitude I recieved for simply asking where something was located blew my f*cking mind. "WELL WE DON'T HAVE PLAYPENS JUST CRATES!!" and while we walked over to the area, she was clearly and visibly not happy that she had to assist a customer. Then she aggressively grabbed the box and I couldn't wait to finish checking out and leave.This is my honest review of my experience at this location. If they want a better review, they need a better attitude. I honestly have no clue how these other customers are giving rave reviews.

A little pricey on many items but they have a wide selection of goods for your pet. The store is pet friendly so bring your dog with you! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Easy parking. On site grooming as well.

I went there the other day with my sister n law that's in a wheel chair. She wanted to buy fish for her 10 gallon tank. She selected 4 fish that she liked. A customer service gal Azia came to help us. She said, none of the fish we selected, she said, we could not get! She said these fish need to be the same type and need to be in a school. Two different kinds of fish were in the same tank that she wanted to choose, these two different types, at same time and she stated they don't go together! That makes no sense whatsoever. She ended up getting fish that she didn't want at all ! This girl Azia , was like the Fish police!I've never experienced this treatment of selecting fish at a fish store in my whole life! 55years!!

Itās hard to get help from anyone. You gotta walk around the store asking for help multiple times. The salt water area is disgusting and they donāt even have the lights working in the saltwater section. This is sadā¦ if they donāt have the staff properly trained they should not be allowed to have this kind of fish.

I love this place, look for JESS sheās great friendly and Patient whileI asked her about my 2 Aquariums at home. Answers all my questions. I'm a fish lover and there fish selection and prices were great! No algae , healthy fish.Very Organized and clean . I LOVE THIS LOCATION. ššš

Have a new Rottweiler manager Rebecca from the Marlborough store made my experience much easier she helped me with the food choice the treat and even got me to sign up for the petco vital care cashier Samthe manager showed me how to sign up for the app and even showed me how to use it these ladies rock
