I love this store and get lost in there looking at so many of the things that are on sale. Great variety, alot to see. Good prices and staff are very helpful. Majes it a nice shopping experience.

This is an all-around department store that has housewares, small appliances ,food products, clothing, garden equipment, lawn needs, pool supplies, coffee pods, birdseed, pet supplies, specialty food items, all at somewhat decent prices not always the best prices though, and the downside was a lot of items in the store were not marked with prices on each item so you did not know how much the items cost unfortunately, that was very frustrating because you can’t be asking someone in the store how much something cost all the time. It is worth a visit to see if you could find something you need for your home.

This store reminds me of a cross between Christmas Tree Shops and Big Lots.You can definitely spend quite a long time just walking down the aisles and browsing.A fun store to walk around.

Good store but it's a hit and miss when it comes to buying certain things like their electronics they do not last long they break very easily like they're headphones. Clothing and food are good

This appears to be a newer Job Lot, massive store with goods, think twice before getting the victor allen k cups, yea they’re cheap but the also taste cheap lol, huge pet selection with dog toys and beds, food area is good/ clothing isn’t bad- sign up for insiders deals / crazy deals are worth it.

I haven't been to a store that has a much inventory of lots of different diverse supplies for every need you could think of, and all of it for a good right price that's not too high. Some may be cheap items but most of them a good quality items and there are some rare finds here too. I been here couple of times now and its peaceful here due to its open layout that allows you to find everything you need easily.

This is an interesting place. Nice, clean, and well organized. I can’t say that i want everything in the store, but when looking for odds and ends or things that you want an inexpensive version, they seem pretty good. Also i was really surprised by their jarred and canned goods. Those were really well priced and they had a nice selection. I definitely recommend checking them out.

I base this review because of the supervisor or manger I believe his name was John. I went in Sunday around 5pm. He was sarcastic and rude . He should not be working with people. He gives this establishment a bad image. I have been shopping since you opened and have never been treated or spoken to in this manner. Seriously thinking about not going back something needs to be said or done about how he speaks to customers. If i do go back and he is there I will not shop. It is so sad that I might have to find another place to di my shopping. Because I really loved your store.

Store layout is horrible. You walk in only way you can go is right. As they have a shelving unit as soon as you walk in. If you wanted to go look at the clothing which is on the left side of the store you have to double back. You don't see retail places like that anymore most have an open front and you can go left or right when you walk in. Way too much merchandise that don't have a price sticker. It's like a Big Lots but somehow worse. I've lived in South Plainfield for almost 2 years now and despite being in that shopping center to go to Dollar Tree in Burlington yesterday was on my second time in Ocean City. Just not impressed at all with the store and the sloppy setup.Update 9 months laterOk more items are actually priced. Store layout is still horrible especially when walking in. Toy section is just sad. Way way too much generic stuff. I've seen more licensed product in the toy section at Dollar Tree. Here it is pretty much mid October and they still have all their summer stuff still out. Most stores it was put on deep discount awhile ago and replaced with Halloween stuff. Seeing a full section of pool and summer toys in October is just weird.

Went shopping with my wife today at Ocean State Job Lot. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Monica. She directed us to the wild bird seed section where there is a large variety of seed and supplies at very reasonable prices. We had a very enjoyable shopping experience and will be back.

I love this place! It is like a giant Big Lots with way more stuff and often at a better price! The place always has a lot of parking (including, wheelchair accessible parking) and the staff is always pleasant and super helpful. I have gotten to know a few people there and they are always knowledgeable about upcoming products as well as existing merchandise. If you've never tried this door and like really good bargains you should give it a chance. They sell everything from food to furniture. They even have a huge sports section with kayaks, and other sporting equipment as well as, arts and crafts, toys and a sizable kitchen department. Your pets can benefit from this place as they have all kinds of pet beds, foods, and even a large bird seed and accessories department.

Prices are right! I ordered a 10x12, 500lb gazebo/canopy for my deck from them and everything from the order to informing me of pick-up and details about how to get it were explained thoroughly. They have good prices for things you need. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Oh...don't forget to pick up some of the sweet raisin bread at the front before checkout! Great for French toast & definitely worth the calories.

This is a surprisingly good store with a wide variety of items.They carry swimming pool supplies, gardening gear, outdoor furniture, and a slew of other items. I found a large number of healthy snacks, name brand clothes, and even purchased a carry on travel bag. I do not like buying pool chemicals at this store as I find them to be of low quality and not competitively priced.Great prices throughout the store. The insider club is worth joining for the sales.

Get the app for coupons and the rewards discounts. Good deals to be had in some products. Others not so much. Know your prices of things at other places. Overall can sometimes score some deals with coupons and app:) Most of the staff is nice and will help you lf asked.

Nice budget store with a more consistent inventory of items in multiple departments including food, hygiene, office supplies. Has a seasonal rotating stock near the front of the store and portion of the side of the store.A little understaffed but that’s the case with pretty much all the discount stores.

First time at this store and I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of items and corresponding prices. I was looking for gardening items and there is a great variety of seeds, pots, green houses, lights and other tools for very reasonable prices.
