One awful place. People are rude. I called the store to ask to speak to the manager and the lady that answered the phone said in an unfriendly way that the manager wasn’t there. Then I asked her at what time was the manager going to be there and she asked “who’s this?” I replied I want to know at what time the manager is going to be there and she said “I’m not allowed to say” What? Why isn’t she allowed to say when the manager is going to be at the store? And instead asked me twice who I am? Jesus! Can these people be more unpleasant and unprofessional? I don’t think so.

Good deals today! Very crowded at 10:30- 11:00! My daughter purchased skin care and bath gels. Some as low as 4.99 Truly gift set only 30.00. Ulta has them for much more! I got a ceramic fall pumpkin with floral painted on white background for only 12.99! Good size,too.

About a 12 person line and this location runs 3 employees doing registers with 4 people chit chatting behind them pretending to fold clothes. I watched them the entire time as I am very impatient and it was clear they were not being productive back there and avoiding the line.The employees intentionally messed with me calling me to an empty register. I wait there for a few minutes in a standoff with the employees avoiding me and the growing line. I try and scan the items myself and it finally draws an employee over. I told her I heard the speaker system call cashier one and another employee tells me "a ghost will press the cashier open button sometimes". They were trollingly friendly but it was clear they were messing with me.They were either holiday temps who didn't care for their job or seasoned employees who know their jobs are secure.Regardless there were some great deals, so I gave em another star but I've gotten much better service at the Clark location.

I was just there and it was the worse experience in my life with the manager and this lazy cashier she think that I was stilling a gift card that my boyfriend give me to use she was asking for a Id I I give her my boyfriend id and apparently you have to be there in person to use it. I explain the lady that he is not able to come to the store that I was shopping for him and she told her manager that it was baby clothes I don’t understand why she has to mention that she obviously she don’t not how to use her Brian’s obviously her manager either because everyone can buy a gifts for a baby 😂I guess not

The staffing level at this particular store is bad. No matter what time of day you go into the store, the line is wrapped all the way around and then some. It’s just not worth it to pickup a few odds and ends and wait over an hour to pay. I would imagine this places a lot of pressure on the cashiers (as people aren’t the nicest when they have to wait that long). Please hire more cashiers, not only for your customers but for the employees that work at the store also.

They make returns wait in line when at most stores you go right to a customer service. This particular store is very slow at checking out there actually slower everthing avoid it at all costs.

I shop at this store often as they have great deals. My experience this week was extraordinary in that my cart disappeared with my purse in it. I don't usually leave it in the cart, but I turned around for a second to pick up an item and when I turned a cart was there but not mine. I assumed someone took the wrong cart. After searching the aisles I couldn't find mine. I asked an employee if they could make an announcement. She found the manager who immediately lept into action. After putting the announcement out, had the staff search the restrooms and the area where I lost it and also the rest of the store. The manager directed me to stand by the door in case I see my purse in another shopper's cart. In less than 5 minutes it was found in another department with everything intact. Everyone was extremely courteous, professional and efficient. I didn't catch the manager's name, but she was wonderful. Thank you for saving me from a serious loss.

I came today to Marshalls spend 2.5 hours to exchange a tablecloth that came inside a shower curtain package. to be nastily treated by the supervisor that didn’t care or even try to scan the product. I won’t buy anything there. They don’t even have a customer service so when you return something you need to go over all the waiting. Unbelievable.I spend almost $300 and I am going to go back to exchange a shower curtain that they wrongly placed there and get that treatment. What a rip-off.

Lack of cashiers and long lines. I waited 30 min. In line. Front end supervisor looked to be clueless and kept her back turned to the inevitable, possibly on her phone or during paperwork but definitely not paying attention to lines.

Horrible Cashier! I made a few purchases last week. The cashier felt the price of a few items was too low. She held me up for 15 to 20 min. re-scanning the item, investigating the tags to see if they were tampered with and she even called the department to ask the price. The price on the items were confirmed to be correct. I felt the behavior of the cashier was racially provoked. It was a very bad experience! So disappointing ! I used to shop here every week. Now, I have to find a new place to spend my money.Update: I went in during the holiday and the cashier is still there on the cash register even after I told the Manager. When saw me she looked down. That's Marshall's in South Plainfield. They should've put her on the floor as a sales associate, stocking the shelves.I have been in the store since this incident and the cashier is still here.

Beautiful. Perfect. But buyer beware - you will be sucked into this store like an inescapable black hole while you painfully stand in stasis repeating "Do I need it? No, but is it so cute? Yes!" until I go mad and think of ways to sneak the treasures into my house undetected. I could lay down in the basket and organization aisle and stay forever. This store is a happy place of unimaginable proportions. *Needs larger carts. Giant ones like those pallet-sized carts they have at Costco.

Oof. I like this store - the employees are great, and it's got a nice selection of merchandise. But the last time I went (a Saturday afternoon), the check out line was literally as long as the length of the store. I left instead of waiting. It's often been bad like that for a while, but that was nuts.

My wife likes this place and I have to admit it so do I. You can go every day and find something you wouldn't find. Like the gorilla. Don't know who would want one but, if you looking for a gorilla come here. I do enjoy their cookware, holiday decorations and men socks and shirts. They do have Tommy Bahama items which I go there for my deck table cloths and napkins. Go deals but, I don't like to go searching for items because of over crowding of merchandise. Update: The store is clearing out their summer items and preparing for the Fall season. UPDATE: covid requirements have been lifted.

Somewhat messy, but I think that is because of the Holiday shopping season. Very busy at noon on a weekday but they had every cashier open and kept the line moving!Update: Busy during Saturday shopping mid-May, but they keep people moving. Well stocked!
