Laura!!!Every time I come here, I am happier than the last. Laura is amazing, she’s such a great human and you can tell she really enjoys taking care of animals. She transformed my fuzzy little baby into to a plush little Dino. I love how she grooms her and this is sooooo helpful with the shedding season. Thank you! Can’t wait to come in again soon 😺

I don't live in the United States anymore, but when I went to this place, it was absolutely wonderful. Everyone is very kind, patient and helpful. They have a lot of love for the animals so your pets Will feel safe. They opened up my dogs mind and showed her getting her nails cut is safe and now she is very calm when getting her nails cut. And with getting a nice bath as well. Highly recommended. Your pets Will be in the best hands and come out looking even more beautiful ❤️

I called for an appointment and they said the wait was 3 weeks out so I explained to them the situation of my groomer being Mia and Tonka being way overdo and uncomfortable so they squeezed me in the next day and even offered to groom him THAT SAME day! We have a miniature Labradoodle and he was a little matted so even though Krista had to shave him pretty low the haircut she gave him was amazing she made him look really cute and he came back in a great mood! I think they're great AND they were reasonably priced so if you love your pup I highly recommend!

This is the best groomer in town!!! They’ve groomed our Great Pyrenees a few times now and they all do a great job. Sometimes I think there will be spots they can’t get to because sometimes our pup gets matted around his collar, but they still manage to take care of it each time!! We’re so impressed by the quality of service and everyone who works there are also so friendly as well!! Thank you for taking such great care of us each time!!!

These people dont know what they are doing. They butchered my dog's nails. Didnt give my dog a proper shower. Worst experience one can ask for. If you love your pet don't bring them here.

Grooming-wise it was okay I have no problems with their skills. It’s how they conduct business.Took my 60lb goldendoodle in for a grooming and got charged 150. I was told at appointment that the price would be $90+. On their website dogs of this weight is $80+.Their explanation? Goldendoodles require “hand scissoring” (never heard of that before, so are they saying they use machines to groom other dogs lmao) so the price is 135+. This is nowhere to be found on their website and nothing was communicated beforehand. I would’ve had no problems with it had they been transparent about it.So if you bring your dog in, make sure to ask the price based on your dog’s breed because you might just get surprised.

Unlike any other groomer we’ve been to! My dog is fairly new breed (Siberian Husky/Poodle Mix) so many other groomers aren’t certain about the right care for him. His hair was very matted from being away at training camp for two weeks. Other groomers told us he would need to be shaved, but the groomers at Animal House we’re able to brush out all knots and mats. She was even kind enough to give us advice as we are new dog owners. All this plus a bath, cut nails, and trimmed hair for a fairly decent price.

Went here today for the first time and I am so wowed by the grooming done for my bichon poodle. He had been traumatized at an earlier place we took him for his grooming and I decided to switch to this one and am so GLAD that I did. He came out looking happy and perfect as can be !!

Highly disappointed with this place. We just moved to Piscataway so we thought we would try a new groomer closer to us. Although they did a decent job, they overcharged us due to our dog being a "Goldendoodle" his breed and weight were given upon booking the appointment and not once was anything mentioned about Goldendoodles being charged more. He was not matted, and I got a pretty short haircut so there wasn't much extra work that needed to be done. He weighs 45 pounds which should of been $75, instead the groomer quote on quote "bumped it up" because he isn't a "mini"? I've never heard of anything like this. If you have a popular breed such as a goldendoodle, do not come here or you will be taken advantage of and scammed. We will be taking the 30 minute drive back to our regular groomer.

Laura did an amazing job with my Lhasa.My poor pup has had nothing but bad experiences with groomers so far and he’s only 9 months old. From bleeding nails to being sent home nearly soaking wet. Due to his past experiences he is NOT easy to groom by any means as he is very nervous and scared. Regardless of my dog being nothing but difficult- he came out looking AMAZING. He needed to be shaved due to so many mattes I just couldn’t brush out and it has honestly been his best haircut yet.Even though he was very difficult to groom, they were so understanding of his past traumas of bad grooming and so patient and kind to him. We will be going back every 6 weeks so he will realize that this is a safe and caring place!

They are understanding and they clearly love dogs 🐾Laura was great with my dog SUGARshe took her time to warm up to my baby. She answered all my questions and concerns I had for my dog Due to her past grooming experience she had traumas.she understood the situation. she took her time my dog isn't easy with grooming she gets scared/frighten she has separation anxiety. she had bear claws and LOTS of knots. SUGAR looked like a picture perfect Yorkie 🐾 will be coming back.THANK YOU.

I had my two Himalayan Cats shaved down yesterday that came in severely matted. I was in complete shock that the owner was able to get them shaved down with no knots or matting left. They don't recognize each other now, but I do know they are much more comfortable. The owner was great with educating me on how this could have happened to them at 11 months old and how to treat them and how often. I am so so grateful to have found this place to take care of my kitties. I will be back in 4 months for a touch up.

Animal house staff from the receptionist to our favorite groomer Deborah has provided us with top notch service and has been grooming our Hudson since he was a baby. They are very professional and always give our dog special attention and we always use Deborah for each visit. Highly recommend!

Excellent work and wonderful service. My dog is a rescue dog from the massive floods in Texas two years ago. He is cautious being around new people, but is very comfortable with the Animal House personnel. That’s hardly a surprise as he is given such friendly attention from the minute he steps in the store until departure. Both his vet and border have groomer services. Yet I choose to make the extra trip to Animal House for grooming and maintenance.

This is the best place to get your little pooches groomed. I feel so comfortable leaving my maltipoo here because I know he’s getting treated well plus he always comes out looking so cute. Laura’s my most trusted groomer- I always go to her but I’m sure the other groomers are perfect as well!

This was my first experience getting my long hair cat, Lola groomed. I'm used to doing it myself, however decided she needed a good shave. Staff took their time, educated me, and made my pet feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I'm so happy I found them, and will be coming back for sure!!

One day I stopped in just to check it out; I agree with the previous review about the staff and the shop. In July I brought my Pekingese in to get her hair cut [very short, leaving some tail]. Though time consuming, I was impressed that they inquire about the dog's history. I was also impressed how the groomer acquainted herself to my pup. Three hours later … all I have to say is they did a beautiful job!!!! Compared to another place, I dropped off my pup with no questions asked. The only thing pup was missing were bows in her hair. Maybe they don't supply them or forget she was a girl ... LOL. Overall, it was a great experience!!!
