I wish I could give 10 stars for the atmosphere.This is phenomenal place if you like watching planes take off and land. It's located on a small airport where small aircraft (2-3 people capacity) can take off and land. The restaurant offers plenty outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with windows to watch small aircraft take off and land as you eat.It's an amazing place for small kids as well as adults who love planes.The food is great. The hosts are very kind and cordial. Very homely. Beverage options are limited though. We tried their pork skillet, eggs benedict and French toast. It was very filling and delicious.And then you can just hang around the lawns outside and watch planes for as long as you like.Brilliant half-day trip.

Perfect View restaurant and had an exceptional dining experience. The Mediterranean salad, featuring perfectly roasted shrimp, was a standout. Additionally, the lemon panini, accompanied by a fresh parsley or coriander sauce, and the crispy buttermilk chicken were delectable. A highlight was the homemade-tasting French fries. The ambiance of the restaurant is stunning, offering outdoor seating with a unique view of planes taking off and landing. Fun eatery, breakfast and lunch only, at Sky Manor Airport. Food was delicious! Had the avocado Benedict and blueberry pancakes, both super yummy. Service was fast and attentive! We will be back to try lunch! Airplaned themed decor. They have a counter too, if you are dining alone. The place was recommended by a Pilot friend, for which I thank him. I loved the environment for me, it is a quiet place away from the common noise of the city. Just the noise of the planes arriving and leaving. The food is delicious, our waitress was very friendly and with reasonable prices. I will make it my favorite place since my son loves aviation.

What an awesome place. I never thought I'd eat at a restaurant near an air strip where planes are taking off and landing. The atmosphere is great especially eating outside on a nice day. The food was also really good with very reasonable prices. We came from an hour away to meet friends but I would love to come back again in the future.

Really cool place to have lunch. Flew in with a friend from Morristown airport. Plane parking was not an issue. Because the airstrip is on a hill there are wheel chalks available to use while you’re there. View is great. A light breeze makes the difference on a hot day. Food was great and service was decent. They were not really attentive. We were seated pretty quickly but the food took a bit to get to us. Kitchen looked pretty small. The food was great though. Spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. The bacon made a difference. Steak sandwich was great too. I’d fly back to try more of the menu.

Brought my kids and they just enjoyed watching the planes take off and land! The climate was great so we had the opportunity to get a table outside. The food was good and the price as well. My husband did have to ask 3 different people for a high chair and it didn't arrive until after the food got to the table. Other than that, it was a nice experience.

We ate outside on a lovely day. Quite a few outdoor tables. I had a wrap that included sweet potatoes which really made the veggie wrap. It all went together so well, it really surprised me. I did order it on the plain instead of the tomato one on the menu and think that made it better. It was also pretty! Highly recommend this. Friends both really liked their meals. Fries were really good, too. Closes at 3. You can watch the planes take off and land. Wait staff was excellent and attentive.Vegetarian options: A few good options

Omg was the food delicious. I got the spicy bacon chicken sandwich and I cannot wait to have it again! My husband got the bacon burger and he loved it, but after tasting my chicken sandwich he wanted that. The fries were good too. We ate outside which was beautiful they had some coverage so my infant wasn’t in the sun but I was and it was perfect. This was our first visit and I cannot wait to go back. I hear breakfast is delicious.

Amazing place off the beaten track but well worth the trip. Grab a patio table if you can. Watch all the small airplanes take off and land. Beautiful views. Food is inventive and delicious!! Omelets had lots of fillings and cooked perfectly. Try the sweet potato hash browns! Server recommended the Peach French toast, it was so good!! We’ll be back often!

Fun place to have lunch. We came in just as the big lunch rush was ending. The place was more than half packed, but then thinned out during our meal.Our waitress was a sweet lady with a cute Latin accent.The food was good, they cooked my burger well-done as I asked, and they had a gluten free bun for me! My little boy and I both ordered lemonades. He got a small size glass and I got a regular size glass and they were only 25 cents difference in price. So pretty much the same price. But…all that was made ok because his child size hamburger was massive, as was his serving of fries!It was really neat to see small planes landing right outside the window. Did the experience inspire a future pilot? TBD! But we’d gladly come again and enjoy the food and views!

I heard about this place a few years ago and so happy to finally experience it. The eggs, home fries, avocado, coffee, all superb 👌.I can't wait to try more options on their breakfast menu.3 weeks later, had the special for breakfast. Soft scrambled eggs with buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy. Delish!

Sky Cafe is an amazing adventure! On a chilly or rainy day you feel warm and coddled, but on a sunny day you're entertained by small planes taking off and landing. The food is very good and ranges from imaginative dishes to an extensive salad list to well done old favorites. The attentive staff doesn't rush you. We were in the area and locals made the recommendation. The place was packed with the breakfast crowd. We had to wait 20 minutes but it was definitely worth it. I had the Chef's signature burger and my wife had a grilled pastrami Rueben. My burger was out of this world; one of the best I've had in recent memory! The combination of flavors was sooooo creative and unique. A bonus were the reasonable prices. We shall return!

What a fantastic restaurant where we were able to enjoy a great breakfast while watching planes land and takeoff. We ordered the blueberry pancakes, coconut banana French toast (unfortunately they ran out of coconut that day) and an avocado omelette. All of our meals came out perfect and delicious. Not only is it a great atmosphere to dine out, we had terrific service too. The Sky Cafe does not take reservations and is a first come first serve. We visited Friday morning and were able to be seated right away, although it was pretty packed. We previously tried visiting on a Sunday morning and the wait time was over an hour. I highly recommend dining here and we will certainly be back.

Best thing about the place was the view. You can’t be sat without your entire party being there. Parking is limited. At the end of the meal the women in charge comes around to the tables and removes everything your not using and asks if you need anything else… And then she comes over again and asks if you need anything else. It was rude and very unprofessional. As soon as we got up she was brining us a to go bag we told her we didn’t need the first time she came around.Ceaser salad looked the best and was the only thing that was finished. I ordered a burger medium and it came out well done and dry, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the bottom bun was soggy. The arugula salad was brought out without the egg. The French fries were the best part.Also soda machine was broken. Home made watered down lemonade, tea, or coffee were the only options.Looks like we should have come for breakfast.

The service here is quick and friendly. The view of the field is breathtaking. The food was quite good. They have a pie and cake selection that looked enticing, but we had no room for dessert. We will try again.

My husband and I took a ride to Pittstown to have lunch at the Sky Cafe at the airport. It was pretty busy considering the dreary and a little windy day.The food was very good and delivered quickly. I had pastrami on rye with fries and my husband had a chicken panini.

This was a truly disappointing visit to Sky Manor. Typically, we enjoy the food and the views, but today was different. It was busy, which is typical, and we waited a while for our food, also typical and expected on a busy day, but the toast on all three of our skillets was cold, the skillets themselves were barely warm (we could easily touch the plates and usually they are broiling hot!), and we had to get up and ask the supervisor for a refill on our coffee and jelly for our toast as we didn't see our waitress after she took our order. She did reappear promptly with our check though. And the supervisor was at our table with the card reader as soon as we took our our credit card. At no point did anyone ask how our meal was or if we needed anything additional and the supervisor, who stands right next to the table we were seated at, did nothing to step up and help out. It was truly disappointing.

We had a wonderful time at Sky Cafe. We had the French Onion Burger and Steak Salad, each delicious in their own right. And don't skip out on the Onion Rings... amazing! Excellent service and great pricing. Will definitely be back.
