Not a bad dollar tree now! They used to have lines that went into the isles, they added self checkout and now it goes a lot smoother, they also added 5$ items in some isles of more interesting items. It would get 5 stars if the cleanliness was up to date and they didn’t have stock carts with items blocking the isles.

Nice location, New products which I haven't seen before in other Dollar Trees (or maybe I haven't been browsing in other stores). I came for shelves, and there were no shelves there, but still ended up finding things I might need))).Customer service needs improvement.Ladies cashier (or maybe other kind of worker she was) was yelling at a male cashier or maybe she was talking very loud then...Other than the store is good.

Absolutely terrible experience for me😕….. I went in to visit my fiancé on break and purchase some snacks and was told I couldn’t wait inside next to the registers out of customers way for my Uber. Absolutely disrespectful of management to do this to a shopper and customer. I am a frequent shopper and have experienced this multiple times and on multiple occasions. Management needs better training. Either that or seek new management.

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I was waiting in line forever because they always only have like one person checking people out, and when I finally got up there, the lady in front of me was done putting her stuff on the conveyor belt, so I started putting mine. I had looked prior to see if there was a divider, and there wasn’t so I figured that the checkout lady would just understand the new stuff was mine since the other lady stuff wasn’t on there anymore once I put my stuff on. Anyway, she started scanning my stuff on the other ladies bill, and I am very nicely told her it was mine, and the lady behind the counter glared at me and said “rude”. I was in such disbelief and I told her I’m sorry, but there is no divider so then she takes her hand and goes deep underneath of the candy shelf and slams the divider in front of me. She was blonde, older, and miserable. You don’t speak to customers or treat them that way, especially when it was mostly her fault because she wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing. This is why I go to Target!

Just in the Phillipsburg and usually have no issues, however while in lane there was a elderly lady trying to separate our orders she was really sweet. She grabbed the thing that usually would distinguish between orders and the young cashier made a comment about her conveyor belt and grabbed the thing and then rolled her eyes and made a nasty face. I happened to see the face the elderly lady did not so I made a comment there was no reason for that face now come on. She proceeded to be snooty with her as the lady was leaving I told her to have a nice day. During my check out the cashier used her phone and was texting someone. I felt that she was very rude and should be taught proper customer service skills, before a secret shopper comes in there and she's in real trouble.

Used to be a good dollar store but has went quickly downhill. the product selection is usually not a problem. The staff here are always overly rude, disheveled, and they move so damn slow. Expect long lines with slow movement even when they are up to staff.

My sister have experience with this awful place and she need used to the restroom for my nephew. The cashier gave it to my sister terrible attitude and yelled at her and says NO!!! And the manager and cashier both are very rude and not professional. I suggested anyone couldn’t going this place because they are very rude and treat like not right for anyone. They will not let you going in the restroom as if you need. I hope they need get some respect next time and need more professional. Cashier and manager need chilling out!!! And hope they fixed their attitude.

The cashier was helpful for putting my purchases in the bags that I brought and I found almost everything except for the tiny lightbulbs that I needed.

The store itself is decent but used to have much more variety than it does now. However I only go in there when DESPERATE because if the employees aren't rude, management is. Don't go in there when T is there unless you want head swiveling attitude for askinf a question. Unfortunately with bad management, the incompetence will only trickle down. And it shows.in the fact that there are lines out the door and managers AND other associates free and they're standing around talking about their weekends of trash about customers. RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE DOOR instead of inside. I only.go in if I'm desperate.

Update: Now one star as I watched an employee tell a child they couldn't use the bathroom and the child wet himself. The employee shamed the child. I am absolutely livid at your lack of humanity.Lotta stuff, but their employees cough and sneeze all over the items. This is true for multiple employees across multiple visits.Masks are a must at this location.

I just had the worst experience at this store! My four year old had to use the bathroom super bad, we asked if they had one. They said no but Petco next door did. We ran over to Petco but they were closed. It's cold outside, so my best idea was to buy a big bucket and take my girl to the back of the store (well hidden from everyone, in a totally separate area for storage etc), and let her pee in the bucket. I was of course planning to buy the bucket and to properly dispose of the urine. The girl is 4 she couldn't hold it anymore! it seemed like the best option at the time on a moments notice. the nasty rude lady didn't have to make such a scene or handle it the way she did. So upsetting and unnecessary! Now I can't even shop! ! This obnoxiously loud and arrogant woman made a huge scene in the store, making my daughter feel super embarrassed and upset. And I was livid! I know it may not have been the most ideal solution but it was the only option at the time. I was kicked out of the store and made a spectical of by this NASTY heartless employee. Unbelievable.

I love this place! No tricks, everything really is $1. Only exception being (I'm assuming) Mylar balloons. In my opinion its huge. Great selection, always clean, never crowded. The cashier with the short hair is so sweet and friendly, shes the best! Heads up though.... Seasonal items for $1 go quick so if you find something good get it quick bc it might not be there tomorrow

The store is fully stocked with all the essentials for household, personal care, food and parties. Overall, the cleanliness level is average but not excellent. Most items are easy to find. The staff are helpful and professional. Most items really are $1.00 unlike some other dollar stores where some items are $5-6

Great place to pick up wrapping paper and greeting cards at a discounted price. You can find some good bargains if you have time to browse. Then it came to check out: very long line with only one cashier. I felt bad for her as some people said some nasty things to her and it was out of her control. Where was management?

This is still one of the best dollar stores but in the past year there has been a lack of cleanliness and customer service is just awful. The few employees are there are just plain rude and miserable, although I don’t want to fully blame it on them because they are probably overworked since no one wants to work right now. At least inventory is alright

This location has so much variety in their stock, and while the shelves can be a bit hectic, they are always well stocked in my experience. I have a DT in my town but I drive 20 minutes away to go to this one in particular.

The second best dollar store around. And one of the few left that everything in the store is actually a dollar. Nice variety of cold drinks, a few I never even heard of. Overall you can't beat their prices.

Nicely organized, always well stocked, clean aisles, very friendly staff. This particular Phillipsburg Dollar tree is great. I will go out of my way to go here.
