WORST PHARMACY EVER! I can't stress this enough! I have been dealing with this Walgreens as it's the worst. Pharmacist there are so unprofessional and rude. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. If you want to avoid stress and a major headache please don't go here. Instead go to Super Health Pharmacy, which is only five minutes away from this Walgreens and and Super Health Pharmacy is the very best!!!! Their pharmacists are super kind and amazing. They know what they are doing and understand the urgency that patients have to get their medications. I had a prescription sent to this Walgreens and i was told it would take 24 hours to get my simple amoxicillin prescription. I called Super Health Pharmacy and they were so kind to call and get my prescription transferred to them and got it all ready within 15 minutes! it's amazing!!! I totally recommend Super Health Pharmacy and would never go anywhere else.

Busy pharmacy, probably could do more with additional staff. Had good customer experience esp. from the on duty pharmacists, senior technicians and pharmacy manager. Technicians have been quite helpful during the visits.

So it’s quite understandable that in the current state we r in , this crazy pandemic that there a longs lines and wait times r high and they ally of stores are understaffed. I get it truly I do. But to be clear this particular Walgreens has had this problem for YEARS!!!! I switched my pharmacy because of the extreme level of distinction. Now fast forward to today. I came in last night actually the line was backed up to aisle 1!!!!!! After waiting 40 minutes and barely moving I left. Came back this morning and of course my mother in laws meds were not ready EVEN THOUGH THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY SINCE LAST NIGHT!!!!! Now after calling my order is ready. And where am I ???? Yet again…. In a line that is ridiculously long and hardly moving. This store really needs to do better. This is unheard of. My time is of value just like anyones else!!!! Nor do I want to be crammed in a store with a bunch of sick people waiting for there medication.

Walgreens Pharmacy on Convery Blvd in Perth Amboy is the worst. Do not send your prescription to them. Send it to Walmart in Woodbridge on Rt 9. Even if you are a new customer, Walmart will call you right away. Walgreens on the other hand will never call, text or send you any messages and days later you will still be waiting. And it's the same even if you have used their pharmacy before.. if you call them, they'll put you on hold for forever with the hope that you will drop your call. Forget about this pharmacy and pick up your prescription at another location or another pharmacy.

I see a lot of awful reviews about the pharmacy but people expect their prescriptions to be filled instantly. Doctors send over prescriptions over and then patients come right away and expect them to be filled and customer often down talk the technicians helping them. The technicians are very helpful and are so understaffed…which is such a shame. I appreciate all the hardworking women there who fill my prescriptions. I’m tired of people treating them horrible and they deserve better by both the management there and the customers. It’s not their fault. Walgreens has very little technicians, low pay, and will not close if they do not have enough people. They are forced to work in a unsafe environment. So they are trying their best. Please be respectful

The staff were wonderful and nice. They ran around like crazy. Walgreens needs a different system for vaccines though, I wasn’t given mine till 40 min after my appointment time which I was there early for to be sure I was checked in and all paperwork done. WALGREENS HIRE ANOTHER person NOT YOUR PHARMACIST to give vaccines. I only gave 3 stars because the staff was great. But their system leaves a lot to be desired.

had another horrible experience at this walgreens pharmacy. They are rude they said im not able to wait when i live an hour away. Everytime I go there they give me anxiety like im doing something wrong when i have never seen a pharmacy ran like a zoo....3 hours to get one script and treated like complete garbage. I would give zero stars if i could. Also for writing this they will be even more horrible to me

I shop there almost everyday. If you apply for rewards card. You can enjoy the deals they have. For example candy bars that go for $2 you can find them for $1. Drinks such as Arizona Which cost a little over a dollar. I got 3 for $2. The employees are well trained. I gave it 4 stars only because the wait in line can sometimes be caused by short staffing

By far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to!Wish I read the reviews before stopping by. Lines are terrible, you typically have to wait for about 20-30mins just to be attended to.Ok now to my experience.. I get there after waiting for so long in the lines to drop off a prescription, I’m told to be back in 1hr 30mins for pickup. I return back 3hours later - of course the lines are forever long! I wait couple of minutes and get to the front just to be told my order isn’t in the system?????!!!! That I have to wait for another 30 minutes to pick up my prescription.. Like literally I felt defeated and helpless! I’m never coming back .. This place needs to be closed down!

I had a bad experience today around 10:00 p.m. where I went to get some medicine for my wife and the one who attended to me did not put the phone down at all, did not pay attention to her work, I asked her a question about the medicines and he treated me with a bad attitude I told her to charge me for some winter flip flops and I saw the price and I told her that that was not the price that they were half price and the young woman did not pay attention to me because she was on her cell phone texting and I told her to please pay attention to me that I am a client and that it was disrespectful texting and not attending to the client she threw the pills in a basket as if they were garbage he left with an unprofessional attitude and had another person to take care of me walgreens should have a strict policy about cell phones because they are working with patients' medicines and they hire these young people who do not have the capacity for this job and they disrespect one as if it were b asura i hope discipline is taken about this

If you like to wait at least 20 minutes on line to drop off your prescription, the please come here.1. The staff does not wear their masks correctly. They work in a pharmacy with sick patients coming in to get medication. They wear their masks but they don’t cover their noses. I wouldn’t really mind in any other industry but a pharmacy? No way.2. The pharmacists were taking way too long explaining elderly people why their Medicaid and Medicare didn’t cover their medication fully. The patients did not seem to understand the pharmacists and pharmacists had to re-explain multiple times. That took up over 20 minutes of waiting and nobody seemed to care.3. The checkout line was also very long. The clerks were doing what they can but it did not move quickly.I went in and waited over 40 minutes just to drop my prescriptions and buy four items.In short, if you have a lot of time to waste during the day, go to this location. Otherwise, avoid.

If I could give the pharmacy negative stars I would. I scheduled a booster two weeks ago. This morning I arrive and check in and the girl has an attitude (at 8:30 am and already being rude). I check in to the vaccine and after 15 min of waiting they tell me the system is down and cannot give me the vaccine and tell me to call back in the afternoon to see if the system is working. I don't understand how that can happen but fine.I call back in the afternoon and wait on the phone 20 min for someone to pick up. Someone picks up and (again with an attitude) tells me they are not giving out vaccines anymore and I will need to reschedule. What an absolute waste of my time. This should not happen if you have an appointment. This walgreens need to shut down it is nothing but trash.

I don't know what is happening with this Walgreens because it used to have good service, but now, it gets worse each time I go. 1 cashier was attending a line of about 16 people, one of them being me and they told me to wait 20 minutes for my medication. I come back after an hour and waited a long line just to be told to wait 20 more minutes. What is the point of lying to the customers?

I wouldn’t give this place 1 star if I could. There’s been problem after problem with this place. I placed orders for meds and they either don’t have any in stock or it’s always delayed. Lines are always long and they take med orders out of the system AFTER they say they are ready and then lie about it and say it was never filled. I’ve learned my lesson and will be going to another pharmacy ASAP. I get that there is a problem with medication being in stock but all of the time ? No that’s ridiculous.

I used to think this was the worst pharmacy to deal with until I started using the Walgreens in Parlin and the Rite Aid that’s right across the street from it. Both are absolutely horrific. At least this pharmacy picks up the phone sometimes, and will give you a timeframe (half hour or hour) of when your prescription will be done. For some reason the two Parlin pharmacies are unable to do that?? Honestly the worst part about this pharmacy is that they always have ridiculously long lines both inside and at the drive thru… literally all the time. Other that that, this definitely isn’t the worst pharmacy.

by far the WORST walgreens ever !!!!! Drive thru pharmacy is ALWAYS backed up , even on the inside which I don’t understand why because there are always about 5-7 pharmacy techs working. They have 1 lane for covid testing (9am-5pm) and the other lane for pharmacy. Today they decided to have only ONE lane open during the busiest time in my opinion which was around 4:30/5pm . I got in line at 5:16 (5 cars ahead) . The 1st car literally sat for 24 mins and I could not even turn around because there were cars backed up behind me onto the main highway. I have a 7 month old baby screaming in my backseat because I have now been STUCK in line for almost an hour now. The store needs new management or something because the pharmacy dept is ALWAYS like this and it’s RIDICULOUS!

This pharmacy location is the slowest and annoying place to get service. If you go in person there is a line out the door, if you call to ask a question before you go into the location, the answer the call and put you on hold for 15 minutes , come back on and place you on hold for another 30 minutes and another 30 minutes, then the phone started to ring again and the hold process starts all over again. You spend more than an hour on hold and no one answer your call.

Not the best Walgreens but not the absolute worst. Expect there to be a long wait during the most random times in the Pharmacy with sporadic times of absolute emptiness. The Beauty counter women are usually super super helpful and will ring you out even if you aren't buying an beauty supplies. Knocking off a few starts because it's not exactly the most organized Walgreens but they try at least. The employees can be a bit quicker to get to the registers to give backup to the other cashiers, but that is the fault of the current manager on shift. If they were a bit more organized, quicker, and paid more attention to detail with where they slap their sales stickers and making sure to remove them after the sale is over, this would be a better Walgreens.

Terrible service. If I could give negative stars I would.Tried calling pharmacy 3 times and the first two times I was hung up on by the pharmacy staff after waiting on hold for 7-15 minutes. The third time I was kept on a loop of hold music->dial tone ringing->click->hold music which I can only assume was someone picking up and shuffling me back in line to avoid doing work.

EVERYTIME I come to this Walgreens Drive Thru Pharmacy always have to wait minimum 45 minutes to speak to the technician/pharmacist. They never have my order ready even though it’s been over hours after the doctor has submitted the prescription. When the order is not ready they tell me to come back later and this is unacceptable because you wasted my time. Ive been going to Walgreens Pharmacy for the past 25 years and now I will never support them anymore as I will encourage my friends and family to support Family Owned Pharmacy

They need more pharmacy staff but also some sort of structure. I've been sitting in the drive thru (lane 2) for 15 min and I have seen 3 cars in lane 1 go already. Only 1 person has gone from lane 2.

The pharmacy basically is a mess. Depending whose at the front desk determines your experience. I've had good moments pickup my meds but also way too many bad times. Half the time they can't find the medication you're there for despite being called that your meds are ready and thats if they call at all. If there's a question regarding your meds they'll alert you but then don't alert you when its ready except to tell that if you don't pick up they're going to put it back. Theyre horrible at following up .

This pharmacy deserves 0/10...worst pharmacy service ever!! Long lines every time, only one cashier to assist and staff doesn't know what they are doing. Second time I brought my meds that I left the ER with and they say my insurance doesn't cover it. No courtesy call to let me know and then I spend 30min to be helped and come to find out "insurance didn't cover it and we have to call the doctor to change it" meanwhile NOTHING was done about it ALL DAY LONG!! Took them to another pharmacy and had no issue. Do not recommend this pharmacy at all!
