I've been to Grist Mill Antiques Center many times, and highly encourage checking it out at least once. There are a few things to keep in mind, though. The antiques center is large, two stories and much bigger on the inside than you would assume. It is mosty organized into rooms by vendor or type, and most vendors carry items of a similar type. So, there are some sections which are entirely glassware or ceramics or the like. There are sections that are entirely a single thing, and not seperated by vendor. Clothing can be found in a corner up the stairs and to the right, as well as on a few mannequins throughout the Center. Furniture is mostly up the stairs and all the way to the back. Jewelry is mostly in cases on the first floor, but there is some in drawers on the second floor. It is initally very overwhelming in Grist Mill, but once you know how to navigate it, it's not so bad. There is no changing room, but there is a bathroom on the first floor. In terms of price, there are frequent discounts at Grist Mill, but it is not necessarily affordable. The pricing is not like that of a thrift store; expensively made items are expensive.I have personally had no negative experiences with the staff. They are very friendly.

LOVE this antique shop. So much stuff, definitely something for everyone. It’s huge, I actually got lost a couple times. I wasn’t able to see it all in one trip and will definitely be back!

Terrible customer services the lady with short white hair was SO SO rude. The place was a mess it would be impossible to find anything in it without asking but apparently asking for coupe glasses is too much trouble for the people that work there .....why be troubled with actually selling anything? Will be taking my time and wallet elsewhere.

Very few vendors with anything remotely definable as "antique." Mostly junk, unfortunately, and some local-made knickknacks (which aren't bad, but aren't antiques!). The people who operate the facility are a mixed bag, some are sweet and kind, and some are dismissive. There are better selections in other nearby locations. There are a few treasures, though, so I think it's worth checking out at least once!

Too much glass ware, very cluttered, very rude owner, not a way to run a business with all the competition out there.

Beautiful antique store with lovely staff willing to help you every step of the way! Fairly priced items for most of the vendors but some of the silver goods are very over priced. Other than that, great place to visit and shop!

This antique store is really incredible! One of the largest and best selections that I've come across in New Jersey! There are two huge floors with 125 vendors and it's packed to the brim. If you like squeezing through tight aisles and really hunting for those special pieces, this is the spot for you. The people that work there are great to. When I came in they asked if I was looking for anything specific, and within minutes I was shown half a dozen examples of that item. They really have a little of everything, but it's especially good for glassware.

Beautiful interior and a great selection of fairly priced items. The staff were super welcoming and very polite; even going the extra mile to look for certain items of our interest. We loved the variety— oak furniture , vintage Pyrex , and plenty of antique books. The former grist mill setting definitely helps add to the antique hunting experience.

This place is loaded with tons and tons of antiques! Even if you don't go to buy, it is fun to just walk around and revisit the past! The people that work their were very helpful, and available to help you find items. We very much enjoyed our outing there and the items we purchased! Would definitely go back!

This place is PACKED with antiques, so many in fact you may get lost while shopping. The reason for the two stars is the staff is friendly enough, but they DO NOT stop following you through out the entire building pretending to be doing stuff while you shop. I can not stand being hounded like I’m a thief. Also, price is so high in this place I did not find one thing that was adequately priced. Quite disappointing.

This place discriminated against me on the basis of a medical condition. I was told they were closing because they said there were no customers on that day. This was obviously untrue, as I was then a customer. And as a result of their lack of sense and discrimination, the gift I got for my mom's birthday wasn't as good as it could have been. You know, because I didn't have enough time to find everything. So, yeah, I doubt anyone will take this discrimination seriously. But the truth is that it was discrimination. This place should get a visit from the police with a warning that discrimination.

If your looking for a great place to spend a rainy day and love antiques, this is the place to go! I found 3 of what I was looking for and than had to make a hard decision. There is a wide assortment of collections and unique items. Well worth browsing through. 2 levels. The help is so kind courtious and even let me borrow a chair cane to carry around and sit on. Have fun ... tight quarters don't bring a big bag or you'll be knocking things over.

I'm 100% with the first reviewer. I can't believe more people aren't raving about this place! It's such a fun little store! It's filled floor to ceiling with everything you can imagine. No one should enter this place without finding at least one item that either intrigues them or that they want to take home. You may have to dig a little to find what you want, but it's well worth the search and there are some great finds to be had here. And just a quick mention for anyone wanting to complete their pattern: the upstairs is packed with row upon row of fine china. This place has everything from primitives up to mid-century, kitchenware, glassware, oddities, toys, etc. Go check it out!

The ladies here are all very nice and very helpful. I've found some really neat antiques here. The place is huge. You would at least 2 hours just to have a look through. I found a beautiful 1950s bracelet. I cannot stop looking at it.

This place is always full of treasures at reasonable prices. I shop in June and July for Christmas gifts. I can get something unique instead routine gifts.

Nice place but inventory doesn't seem to turn much. I go each Christmas to look for presents and I feel like the same things are there each time.

Been shopping here since it opened and have found countless finds that either brought back intense memories or were the type of gift that's just not made anymore. As a bonus often there a sale running store wide. As for the location what better than a repurposed old grist mill in a old town. I have never ever had anything but pleasant experiences we both the owners and the many genders. The owners usually at the counter will help steer you to the cubby area that may have the treasure you're looking for and as you're making your way around the store a vender will bring anything you have picked out to the counter to keep your hands free for the next find. A few words of advice. Give yourself a couple of hours or so to really look through the two packed floors especially if you're looking for smaller finds like lighters, jewelry, etc. Good hunting.

One of few such gems still around. Such a shame that the "art of antiquing" has faded with later generations, they don't know what they're missing! Take a walk through this timeless treasure, you might just discover a whole new love.

Most deceitful, rude, unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. She literally attempted to hold (steal) an item that I left there on consignment unless I paid her $360! Without any kind of written or verbal agreement informing me of this fee! Don't shop here, or worse yet, don't leave anything here on consignment!

Great stuff, fair prices on most stuff. It is a bit cluttered, though, making it hard to look at things. They need to expand the building!
