I have visited plenty of Save A Lots but I have NEVER been to one as clean & well organized as this one. I couldn't believe how well stocked, neat & clean this one was, they even sell Dietz & Watsons package lunch meat, the customer service was exceptional. I will tell all my friends & I will definitely return.

I don't know what happened in the last few years. I USED to love shopping here. I sent my husband for some frozen broccoli and its white! Like WTH?!!!! 😡 prices are thru the roof now, and the quality has gone DOWN!!!! The last review I left 3 years ago was 4 stars.

Quality of products are what you expect, meats aren’t worth buying here. Staff are always miserable or talking bad about other staff or customers. It’s exactly what you expect from a cheaper grocery store. Poor quality and poor service.

The new owner started off doing ok but now nothing is the same as when the original owners had itTrash is left in the parking lotHe has a problem getting SnappleItems are being stocked in the wrong section of the shelf and he raised prices on everything and on most things he double the price.You are getting ridiculous with your prices and the quality of your meat has gotten poor and very expensive I miss the original owner since you took it over it sucks and you don't care cause your the only store in town

Employees are so kind and helpful. The shelves are always stocked. Very clean and organized grocery store.12/8/2023. There has been many recent changes at this Save A Lot. Shelves are not stock as previously. Did not see any managers specials on any meat.When I was there last I noticed that management had their employees work until 6 pm on Thanksgiving Day. I feel that everyone deserves to be at their family dinner table on Thanksgiving. Staying open until 6 pm did not allow some to spend that family time together. I felt management could have taken more consideration for their employees and closed earlier that day. I heard they will also be open on Christmas Day. I will no longer shop at this location due to the fact that management seems to lack kindness and respect for their employees and family.I realize we have to work to live BUT we should not live to work.Family time is so important!

Not to friendly and never enough registers open. Tried k ordering online but can't buy meats unless they are prepackaged frozen. For example hamburger patties. Only real up side is things are easy to find when you go in to shop.

Place need an upgrade badly and process are way higher than any supermarket I think they jack theyr prices up because they the only supermarket around. But I rather drive the extra miles to shop rite than support a scam like this place.

Great store, very clean, organized and well stocked. Good prices with a wonderful cheese selection. Best frozen veggies and fresh meats, great Goya brand selection as well. Staff is very friendly.

Quick service meat prices were reasonable store was clean and cashier was helpful by retreating some forgotten by us the shoppere products while we were at the counter don't know her name but she was there Friday 8 ,2019 about 8:30

Need more name brand items. No lights on in lot at nite. No drainage in lot. Guy outside door begging for stuff. People need to move out of way after they checkout. Employees say nothing to enforce this!

Always has what I'm looking for, I wish they had a pharmacy since both drug store's closed at about the same time. I believe due to poor management and shop lifting from mostly minors. I can see the difference when a business is family owned compared to a corporation ran business. As with Save A Lot and True Value, both having a family ran business under a corporate name you can see the difference in service, price and atmosphere that is very different then Rite Aid and CVS drug stores had in Paulsboro. I feel that our town needs a lot more businesses like these since they want to be here and support the people of Paulsboro!!As a resident for over 38 years I know that Save A Lot has been a great addition to our town. I feel that we should support these types of businesses since they are the ones that will be here for our convenience! Weiss True Value has been here for well over 50 plus years and has supported the people of Paulsboro, we should be supporting them since they have worked hard to keep there doors open for us!! I have added Save A Lot to my list of businesses that are here for us!

05/13/24 UPDATE- IT'S EVEN WORSE!! THE WHOLE STORE SMELLS LIKE WEED SO BAD I GOT A CONTACT!!! HOMELESS GUY BY THE DOOR BEGS AND BLARES HIS MUSIC..... THE FOOD IS THE SAME.... ROTTEN VEGETABLES, THE MEAT IS OLD AND BROWN- I WILL NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN!!.....

Well, it's the only shipping stores in paulsboro or gibbstown..But it has what we need without having to travel over 30 minutes to a acme, Shop rite, or walmart..

Since new owners have taken over this store is circling the drain . In the previous 3 years I have NEVER stood in line more than 5 minutes . Owners were quick to open up another line . This new ownership … sheesh I’m standing half way up an aisle with only one cashier . C mon new guy . You need to do a better job . Staying open til 11 is a plus . But , not if I’m standing in line for half an hour .

X brand/generic brand stuff is relatively cheap, name brand stuff is ridiculously expensive. Store is a rip off but has the market cornered in this area since they stay open till 11. Shop earlier, drive a little ways and go somewhere else rather than go here. This basically feels like a Grocery Outlet but worse. People were decent.

I'm sorry but I must tell the truth. Before it was bought out, the prices were great and very affordable, especially for a lot of people here in town but now with the New owners. It's becoming a rip off and slowly this place will disappear too. Greed is bad.. just my opinion.

Pretty good prices on some things. Decent prices on others. Not a huge selection on a lot of things but it is a smaller grocery store than the one used to. Employees were pretty helpful. All in all a good experience.Went back a couple days ago and had a pretty good experience. The cashier was very friendly and I notice the store was very clean. Went in to pick up some basic necessities and ended up spending about $100. Still, when I got home I was amazed by the amount of food I actually got for the money.

I can't say enough great things about the staff here. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They are so sweet to my kids and that means the world to me. It's always super clean and very well stocked. I go out of my way to shop here because of how amazing it is here. We love it there!!!!!Update: still just as amazing. Still going out of my way to shop here!!!!

This was one of the first real business added to the town in a long time! This is a privately own store that the owner keeps a 10 rating every time I shop there! The store is spotless well stocked. with very pleasant employees! You can find the owner on location 90% of the time, he is very helpful with any questions you may have as is his employees!!I know this Save a lot is here to stay as our local supermarket of Paulsboro!!One of the best improvements I have seen in a long time for our town!!

My minor was accused of stealing from this store . After being detained from police days later we finally received the video footage and it proved my child was not stealing . Be careful he is traumatized
