I recently visited the Petco location in NJ, and I was thoroughly impressed. The store boasts the largest selection of pet supplies I've ever seen, covering everything from food to toys. What truly stood out to me was the comprehensive range of services available, including medical care, training, and grooming facilities. Plus, the themed selections featuring Snoop Dogg and Dolly Parton were a fun touch!I received exceptional assistance from Eva, one of the store staff members. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made my shopping experience a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this Petco location for all your pet needs.

Mélia did such an amazing job! It was Rocky’s very first groom & she made sure he felt comfortable. She was very loving and caring of him, I will definitely be bring him back to her for his next groom and the staff at this pet co is over all very friendly!

The groomer was amazing with my big anxious dog! She made him smell amazing and groomed him really well! will be going back with my pup soon. He loves strolling the isles with me sniffing and picking out their variety of toy options!

I went to buy some treats formy fishes, and noticed in the aisleof the reptiles, there was a snake stargazing and confused.I think if the snake is big it shouldn't be in a small cage, instead transfer it to a bigger cage with more spaceand adaptation.

On the website, it explains that Petco provides walk-ins for nail trimming services (aka no appointment required). When I arrived with my dog, I politely asked if it was possible to have her nails trimmed. Elaine from the Grooming Department explained in a condescending tone that they do not take walk-ins at this location. Now, I understand if that's the case, but there was no need to give such attitude with her response. I do not recommend this location for new timers who aren't accustomed to her personality.

They were very helpful with advice on supplies for my new puppy. I brought back a dog crate that we didn't end up using, didn't have the receipt, but they looked it up and took it back with no hassle. They also found some coupons for me since we have a petco loyalty account.great service, and a happy puppy!

I know a lot of people are always worried about big corporate grooming; but Paramus Petco groomers are truly the best. They are always the first one on my list to call whenever I want to schedule my big boi for grooming. I had been returning there yearly for the past 5-6 years for Ferdinand to get professionally groomed to get him ready for special occasions. And they always deliveries. The level of professionalism and care they give to my dog can't be stated enough. My BMD always comes back so soft, so handsome, and so happy. Elaine and Melia always ensure my good bio have a good time. The fact that their online appointments are almost always booked - speaks to how popular and trusted they are.

Petco has a very friendly staff who are also very knowledgeable about any type of pet. the store is broken up into different pet sections so it is easy to find what you came there for. Bring the kids. Many interesting pets there for kids of all ages to see. Give Petco a try for all your pet foods and toys you need

Elaine at Petco grooming is the best! Her work is excellent and she loves her dogs and is very patient and caring. She is the best groomer I ever met and she gives me a hand-made ornament each year at Christmas with my dog’s name on it. It’s so thoughtful! My dog loves her and comes out smelling so good after each grooming visit!

This store is absolutely the best! I drive 15 minutes extra to come here vs. another store because the staff always goes above and beyond to be helpful to customers: both very responsible and personable, they always make me feel like I'm shopping at a local neighborhood shop vs. a massive national chain! Big shoutouts to Jonathan, Tommy, Jake, and the rest of the staff who have all been awesome to me during my 2-3 trips out per week for my cats. Thanks everyone and see you soon!

I’ve been tryinggrooming services at some PetCo stores my and this week I found the best store I’ve ever been with the best grooming experience. MeLia was amazing since the first minute she met Simon, our 2-year-old Maltese. At the cashier, another great surprise, a very friendly lady who explained about the benefits of having VitalCare. Excellent Team!!! For sure my favorite store from now on.

Great store and I love the Saturday pet adoption events. But more staff is needed current staff is overworks because there is not enough staff! Also the store has a huge selection of dog food but not a big enough selection of dog and cat supplements!!!!

The Groomer and Welcome Attendant at Petco when we went to bring our Cane Corso puppy, Luna for grooming was AMAZING! So hospitable and professional. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable experience. We 100% will be taking Luna back to Petco for Grooming on a quarterly basis now.

Petco is an amazing store to get all your pet needs. They always have my Boxer Breed Dog food by Royal Canine in stock. They offer great discounts if you pickup your order curbside or in store. Petco is a pet store with many items I cannot find in other pet stores. I love their buy dog food and a free bag of dog food program!

So I go to Petco Rt 17n Paramus. My husband and I are the only two customers in the store. I buy a cat collar. The clerk asks if I want a receipt and I say no. I go outside the store, realized I could use a larger collar. I go back in, find a larger but it costs more, so i offer to pay the difference. The clerk says no, because I don't have a receipt for the first color. He says, " that one's yours, you'll have to buy thr next one, too.". Needless to say, never going back to Petco.

Large and clean PetCo store. My dog was very welcomed and the fish department was very helpful. They had a large selection of betta and tropical fish. Staff was nice and sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

What a great store. If your looking for fish, and just getting started this is the place to go. The gentleman helped me pick out some fish for my fish tank. He was very knowledgeable but most of all welcoming and patient. The fish look healthy and well kept!
