We’ve been taking our two dogs Cozmo and Lucy here for years and they always do a great job. I’m sure my two can be royal pains in the you know what, but fur the love of pets have always managed to bring out the best in them. We just took our oldest - 14 year old - yesterday and Sofia cut her for the first time I believe. We were VERY happy with the final product. Def recommend!

I want to thank Fur the love of pets for the amazing experience. I have a terribly anxious mini aussie who won’t accept dealing with anyone outside our household. I was extremely nervous and thought our girl would never make it through the appointment. I was waiting for the call to say we’re sorry but we couldn’t handle her. Instead I got the call saying she’s all done come pick her up. I can’t thank this team enough for their care and patience! I highly recommend them! Thank you Fur the love of pets!!! ❤️

We’ve used several groomers and this is hands down the best groomer! They really know how to properly groom our dogs Angel & Sugar.I especially love how they do the ears & tails. The groomer’s name is Lisa.

Today was my first time at Fur the love of pets. What a welcoming environment from the moment you enter and are greeted by John. My little Yorkie, Riley, is one of those in constant motion. Lisa was her groomer and was fabulous and on point with everything. Her haircut was perfect. Also, I love that the dogs aren’t crated and might I say, this is the first grooming salon that I’ve ever been to that does this. I’ve already booked Riley’s second appointment. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I need to start this review by letting you know I have never wrote a review but this business deserves it!I highly recommend Fur the Luv of Pets for several reasons. Professional, Courteous, Caring and quite frankly just really good people!!!! I was looking for a new groomer after getting our second Mini Poodle and noticed the positive reviews. As we all know you can’t please everyone in this world so if you notice a review that isn’t positive please make up your own mind. I suggest calling and stopping in this wonderful family run grooming shop. The owners will listen to how you want your pet groomed and will be sure to treat them as well or better than you can imagine. I have a small Little Mini Poodle who is attached to my hip and absolutely loves to go get groomed. Like most of us we consider Zoey a family member. As all of us pet owners know the grooming process can be tough on our little/big pets BUT caring shops like Fur the Love of Pets will give you peace of mind as your Best Friend gets all clean, cute and adorable for sure! Zoey not only looks great she’s happy as well! Reviews are helpful but you should go ahead and find out for yourself, I am sure Fur the Love of Pets will not disappoint you!!!See ya there as Zoey’s appointments are booked till January!!

I just got home from Fur Love of Pets in Oradell and can't rave enough about them! We have spent the last 2 years having to have the Vet sedate my Bluetick hound rescue for a nail trim. She is terrified to the point of "fight or flight" in spite of her gentle nature. I explained everything to Joe, the owner, and he was still willing to have his groomers give it a try. They handled Suki beautifully, from the first terrified howl (which startled the groomer at the next table, lol) to the end, calming her in between paws until she wasn't howling and her struggle seemed a bit less. This really took skill since she has black nails which are hard enough to trim even when a dog is not struggling.Joe, you have a customer for life, I'm so grateful not to have to sedate her anymore!

The staff members are always very friendly to pets and owners. You can tell they take good care of the pets which is very important to me and my dog. They don't put them in crates and just take care of them while on their leash. I've never seen them get over-crowded, which helps put my dog at ease. I definitely recommend Fur the Love of Pets!!

The best groomers in Bergen County IMO. They do not crate the dogs here, which I love. Every previous groomer I’ve used crated our dog for hours waiting it’s turn to be groomed. That is stressful for a dog and here my dog is done in 1.5 hours tops and back home again. The other great thing is that my schnauzer gets a consistent haircut every time. Just like a consistent haircut you would want for yourself, your shouldn’t have to wonder what your dog will look like when you pick him up. A crate free environment, friendly service and consistent haircuts makes this a 5 star grooming service.

My girl heather always always gets it right. I trust very little people with my dogs but Heather is our girl! She's extremely profesional and will tell you what she can do. Which ends up being the most amazing work ever. My newest little one is a rescue who was neglected so much and when I took her to Heather she transformed her into a little diva ready for her debutant ball and reintroduction into society. Now she prances like she own things. Very like "you like my hair, gee thanks just did it" very Ariana Grande of her. I'm so glad Heather is there now because my older little one needs a little more attention and he's able to roam around no problem. I love that store. You are all our rockstars 👩🏻‍🎤

We have been taking our two golden doodles to Fur the Love of pets for over 6 years and couldn’t be more happy! Linda and her staff are professional and great with our dogs. Our dogs love going there to see the entire staff. They are always welcoming to us and do an amazing job grooming! I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a caring groomer in the River Edge/Oradell area.

Highly recommend Fur the Love of Pets! We have been bringing our dog, Harry, here for a few years and he is always happy when he arrives and comes home looking great. The owners and staff are professional, accommodating, and take great care of Harry. We have been taking our long haired dachshund to Fur the Love of Pets for over a year now. The staff there are extremely professional, responsive and they do a great job. My wife and I just moved to Oradell and we needed to get our 3 pound puppy Elvis her first haircut. We were recommended to this place and we are so happy we chose to come here. The staff is friendly, careful, and extremely good at what they do.They were overly accommodating to our schedule and always looking to make the first haircut for our dog a stress free experience. The grooming was quick but thorough and she looks so much cleaner and well groomed than when we got her. We will recommend Fur the Love of Pets to our friends and family, and are excited to come back again!

I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I was provided. They no longer want to take the time to comb and cut dogs hair correctly for the breed of dog that they are grooming. I have been going here for 5 years and have only had one major incident where my dogs ear was cut and had to get liquid stitch glued so that the wound would stay closed. I continued to come back because it was an accident and the groomers seemed to know what they were doing. Clearly things have changed and this is no longer the case. I just spent over $90 on a 15 pound dog and she has a BOTCHED hair cut. Do not let Ashley cut your dogs hair. I’m sure she’s great at other things but cutting dogs hair is not one of them.

I bring my three dogs to the FUR LOVE OF PETS. The staff is amazing and they do a great job grooming my dogs. I have two very large furry dogs that come back silky and with a lot less hair and my Yorkie always looks amazing and she can be a bit of a brat when she is groomed. They do an incredible job and I feel confident and safe bringing my dogs there! If you are like me and leaving your pet with just anyone scares you, you can be rest assured that your pets will be well cared for at the FUR LOVE OF PETS!

I took our 3.5 month old puppy here to get her nails clipped and I'm so glad I did. She was in and out in 10 minutes and everyone there was so lovely, gentle, and sweet to her. Her nails are no longer talons and her tail was wagging when she came out. 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will be back.

We scheduled our three mixed breed dogs for a bath and Linda and her team did a great job! All three were done in less than two hours. Clean, dry and shed free, and they were still thick with winter coat when we brought them in, ears cleaned, toenails trimmed, and smelling so fresh and soft. It is a pleasure to pet their fur again. Cute little bandanas around each collar, and most importantly, the dogs were smiling and not stressed out at all. A great experience, highly recommend, and will be bringing dogs back regularly.

Dropped of my dog this morning and what I got back was a poodle with shaved ears, they said it was due to his adult coat and some matting. However after running it by a few other salons, there’s no amount of matting that can occur over 4 weeks that would result in naked ears. You can see the dogs pink skin, and for dog lovers were all aware of how sensitive their bare skin is to the elements. Not excited for having to put topical product on every day to protect from the sun as it grows back. Every other cut has just been ok, but this is unacceptable. I wouldn’t bring a curly haired dog to the salon, perhaps you’ll have better luck with a straight haired pet.

I don't usually like to give negative reviews but this was my first time trying out this grooming place. I had stopped by about 2-3 weeks ago to schedule an appt for my dog and I specifically asked for whoever is their most experienced groomer and so they booked me with Lisa. When I went in for my appt today with Lisa, they looked surprised and told me my appt was with someone else. Everyone there seemed really nice and they told me she was experienced as well. I decided to give it a try and unfortunately I was very disappointed. When I picked up my dog and put her in the car she smelled like a really strong dog perfume. Her paws were red and she was itch. I'm assuming it was from the shampoo or very strong cologne. Also her left front leg/paw was trimmed noticeable shorter hair length than her right leg. The back of her head was also uneven. I had to give my dog a bath to try to remove the very strong cologne scent to stop the itchiness. Her cut was also way too short, almost shaved and I specifically said I want it short and fluffy, Not shaved. They were very nice and took my dog in on time and she was done on time but I was disappointed with the service I received. I was really looking forward to seeing Lisa and not anyone else.

I came from New York city excellent place my dog told me he love it . I was worry this was first time for him to cut the hairs plus 2 hours I have to leave him without me. If you worry about you dog go to this place you will be fine and you dog will love it . I am dog lover and cat plus I have 4 kids I know what love is. I will be back every 4 months in this place thank you .. today December 24 ,2020 my groomer is no longer with this company I have big problem my dog have to get new person I don’t know how I will do it I . New update January 2021 i am still taking my dog to fur the love of pets , they did excellent job my dog is happy so do it. I am with this company over two years i did not see any problem .If i have to recommend this place I will say YES . You dog will be fine. I am worry about my dog too. thank you fur company and see you next time.

Lisa is incredible and has the patience of a saint. She takes my kitty super early on weekend mornings before the dogs roll in and freak him out. She always reads Duke's mood... If he's had enough she does her best without stressing him out then adjusts the charge accordingly. Of you are on the fence about trusting her with your furry one, take the leap... Excellent place, first time going and I can not be more pleased with the results, I have a Westie and never have a grooming salon that did what I asked, Stephanie is the best I highly recommend her. This was our first time going to this groomer. They fixed all the mistakes that our prior groomer had made. They groomed our dog perfectly and gave him a little bandana at the end. This was an excellent groomer and I highly recommend this place. We will be going back!

Fur The Love of Pets is a gem. Accommodating, professional and friendly. My dog is difficult with other dogs, and we have always had great experiences.
