My family is so happy we found this office. A couple of years ago our dog was very sick and Dr May was highly recommended. She was so caring to our dog in his final days and we will always appreciate her taking the time to help him. Our new pup sees Dr Schuler and Dr Tierney and they are thorough, kind and help us with all our questions. The techs are also great and are always so nice. The front desk always helps us get an appointment and always checks in after his visit. We love coming here

Dr. May, Dr Tierny, Victoria, Kelsi, we love you! Such an incredible team here. Dr. May is amazing and my mom always says how wonderful she is. My family and I recently had to say goodbye to our 21 year old kitty Tiger, who we love so much. The team here was incredible through the whole process, and extremely compassionate during this hard time. I wish I could bring my cats in NC here!

Loved the warm atmosphere and the place was oh so clean. Reception was very friendly and Jeanette who answered the phone answered all my questions when making my appointment. Micah was so good and friendly with Oliver, he actually stopped shaking and got into playing mood. Dr. Schuler answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed for time. I’m so happy I found a place for my new family member. Oliver said “I loved that place mommy” 🙂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great back and front office staff. The office is always clean, as are the exam rooms. Today’s vet tech Micah was AMAZING. He let me into an exam room early so that my cats didn’t get spooked by any dogs that might come into the lobby while we waited. He did my intake as well and really listened to all my concerns with my younger cat. I not only felt heard, but also understood. Micah was so gentle and loving with my cats. You can tell he really loves the animals he sees and wants them to have a calm, welcoming experience at the vet. Dr. Hurst was amazing as well. He gave me great tips/ideas for one of my cat’s health issues and made sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns after.I love this office and their staff.

The staff here is amazing and so helpful! I’ve been bringing Rex here ever since I got him at 4 months old. Micah especially is so gentle and kind with Rex! Always answering all my questions and concerns☺️🐾

We brought our cat Dean in for his annual check up. We have Dean for 1 year, his is 3 years old. When we first got him, he had health issues. He was in the vet alot and needed surgery. He is all healed and healthy, he know he has a home with us. We were concerned about taking him in for his exam. Tracy and Dr May were very gentle with him. They came in with good energy and he was a very good boy. Animal care of Oradell has been great. We had used another vet for our other cats. This place is the best. They put the pet interest and comfort first. Which is how it should be!

Animal Care of Oradell is absolutely AMAZING! My fur baby wasn't feeling well and Dr. May and Tracey were exceptional! From the moment I walked into the immaculate office Tracey instantly helped in every way she could. She was competent and compassionate. Dr May is just the best! She called me with the test results, explaining everything in detail. The staff here truly care about the animals and it shows. I left with a healthy, happy cat. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby and I will never go anywhere else.

I have been going to Animal Care of Oradell for 10 plus years! Drs. Hurst and May always keep the best of interest of the dogs at heart when treating them; both for healthy and sick visits. The dogs love when they walk into the exam room, because every experience for them has always been a positive one. Tracy is always so kind caring. She is quick to respond and is always so empathetic! We are grateful to have known her over the years! The dogs are always happy to see her, and wag their tails when they walk through the front doors! Thank you for always providing excellent veterinary care!!

We have been taking our dogs to Animal Care of Oradell for many years now, and the service has always been exceptional. We have taken our dogs for their regular check-up's, when they have not been well, and sadly also when we have needed to say goodbye to them.Recently our tech has been Micah, whom we really love (not sure if we, or our dogs, love him more). He is gentle and patient, and just puts the dogs at ease.We highly recommend this practice to all of our friends -- you won't go wrong here. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

Animal Care of Oradell was a great experience! I just recently adopted a dog, and took her there for her first check up. The vet tech Micah was absolutely great to work with. Dr. Tierny was absolutely great to work with as well. He answered all of my questions and Rosie loved him too! Rosie and I are so glad to have such great people taking care of her! Cannot recommend them enough here!

We love Animal Care of Oradell! They genuinely care about their animals and it shows. The office is clean and vibrant and has fun atmosphere. It has chalk boards in the room for kids to keep them occupied while you are at your checkup. The staff is so friendly and the doctors are amazing. You feel like part of their extended family.

Animal care of Oradell provides a caring and welcoming environment for pets and families. As a first time puppy mom and long time animal owner, I of course was nervous when it was time for our pup to be spayed. My husband and I saw multiple vets until we decided on Animal Care of Oradell. The owners and staff went out of their way to reassure us and keep updated all throughout the day of the procedure. This brought us much relief and meant so much. It’s evident that they truly care for their patients and humans.

Today we visited for our dog Minam’s nail trim service, but we were not satisfied with that.His nails were cut very slightly and unbalanced. We had to fix his nails ourselves... This is not the result we expected from a professional technician, we are very disappointed.Usually, my dog's nails last for 2 months if they are trimmed at a vet. But he'll have to go again in a few weeks because he slightly got his nails cut today.I know you have to be careful not to cut the blood vessels, but it is very disappointing to be cut like this by a vet technician. We will never return.Updated: They offered to fix my dog's nails again, but we had to fix them ourselves right after back home.We wasted our time and money, and our dog was sensitive all day after visited there.We wanted them to truly apologize for not showing the professionalism we expected from them, rather than suggesting fixing his nails because of this one-star Google review. For sure we will never return!

I love this place, I drive at least 30 mins to take my dog to them and I will continue. I completely trust everyone in the office and never had an issue with them. Everyone is very attentive and caring. Today I had an appoint for my dog with Dr. Tierney and Micah and they were so caring with my dog that has major anxiety, by the end of the appointment my dog was calm and happy! I high recommend them!

We recently switched vets for our 15 year old Cavapoo to Animal Care of Oradell and we could not be happier with our experience. They were able to get us an appointment quickly and made gathering old records a breeze.Dr. Daniel Tierney is very thorough and went above and beyond to examine our dog and her condition. He spent time with us and followed up after our appointment to check in. In addition to traditional medicine, he was very knowledgeable with natural options to supplement treatment.The front desk staff is kind, patient and eager to help (which is rare these days).As a heath professional myself, it is a breath of fresh air to find a place like this. After a recent visit my cat was having a new problem & I was worried, so I sent an email to Dr. Tierney. I was so happily surprised when I got a very quick reply to my email from Tracey, who had already consulted Dr. Tierney. Tracey is amazing! She helped me through the whole process of ordering the correct medications from Chewy & even caught an error I made in such a timely fashion that I was able to correct it. Thank you, Tracey! You saved the day for me & Winnie the Pooh.

My wife and I have been taking our dogs to Animal Care of Oradell for almost 10 years now. They consistently deliver great service with empathy. Whether it’s folks who have been taking care of us for years like Tracy, Nicole and Jeanette or folks that are a little newer to the team like Micah, we always feel like we are in excellent hands. One of our dogs was diagnosed with a disorder that requires her to come in monthly for an injection and the team always makes it so easy for us. We really can’t say enough good things about this team. Dr Hurst and Dr May have really built something special in Oradell. Thanks to everybody for all the assistance over the years!

I went to visit Dr. Tierney in order to get a second opinion on the prognosis for my dog Basil. I knew in my heart that the news wouldn’t be getting any better but wanted to hear someone give it to me straight. Dr. Tierney did that, with care and concern. I could not have asked for a kinder person to solidify the news that my dog was dying from kidney failure. Dr. Tierney went the extra mile by recommending some in home vets that could give my fur baby the gift of sleep in a peaceful and loving way. I’m very thankful for that recommendation. Basil was sent off in a peaceful loving environment (his home) and I was able to hold him as he went. Now feeling the emptiness of him being gone, I know it won’t be long before I get another dog. When I do, I want Dr. Tierney to be his vet. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Every single person at Animal Care of Oradell is absolutely wonderful. I am very protective of my rescue animals, one in particular who has been through severe trauma. Micah (our vet tech) was an absolute angel with our shaky, nervous, pup. He sat on the floor with her, and was so entirely patient and kind. Then when we met Dr. Tierney, he spent almost 45 minutes with me listening to my concerns and going over options explicitly and calmly. His bedside manner with Nala was impeccable (as she doesn’t typically do great with males from previous abuse) and she was such a good girl. He went above and beyond to help me find solutions/alternatives for Nala’s care. I almost cried when I left because of how amazing our experience was. The front desk staff is also exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are so excited to finally have found our forever vet :)

Our dog barks incessantly at people and other animals and we always worry about how people will react to him. The staff are kind and understanding. You can tell how much they care about the animals they treat. The best vet experience we have ever had! I highly recommend them

We cannot say enough amazing things about Animal Care of Oradell. From the front desk, vet techs and especially the vets (that we have seen), Dr May, Dr Hurst & Dr Schuler everyone is kind, attentive and truly have your pets’ best interest in mind! Our dog never liked going to the vet, but all members were always helpful and completely understanding of his anxiety. They took each visit at his pace and we never felt rushed or as if we were an inconvenience. I trusted Dr May with all recommendations that she gave. We had our dog for almost 11 years and unfortunately had to make the hard decision of putting him down. However, Dr May was supportive and explained every thing that was going on with Rambler many times, ensuring we were making the right decisions for us and our family. The whole process was done so well, in a truly loving and caring way. For one of the hardest days ever, I’m very glad we were at ACO for it.

I visited Animal Care of Oradell for the first time today with my yorkie, Riley. I must say, from the moment you enter, you are greeted warmly by the receptionists. My vet tech, Kaitlynn, was terrific. She had such a wonderful way about her and handled Riley with such care and compassion and was a very calming influence. Dr. Schuyler had already received Riley’s records and knew the case. She was thorough with her explanation, took her time with us, as well as, explained different options to us. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Schuyler, as well as, the staff there and I’m happy to have found such a caring team.
