Was trying to get an idea how much it is to put a camper here for the season and maybe for a month but they could not supply any pricing information whatsoever. The lady on the phone was a completely clueless or just shouldn’t be answering the phone She told me I had to pick a date in order to get a price I picked several different dates. They said they were booked, but they still couldn’t give me a price, I would never deal with a campsite like this. I’m glad I beachcomber they were able to give me a price on the phone no matter whether they had a site or not, and they found one for me.

The way this place is ran is absolutely terrible. I have been coming here for YEARS. Each year there’s always something new to add to the list of why this place disappoints us. Like many, I am a creature of habit and came back. Last year my sons brand new bike and helmet was stolen and stripped for parts and left by the dumpster. The owner did nothing about it, did not care that a 5 year olds birthday gift (that he got only 2 weeks prior) was stolen and made it seem like it was our fault. When asked to be compensated, he was very rude and had no empathy for my son. We found a new wonderful place that treats their guests with respect, kindness, and not money hungry unlike this place. Also, the spots are not right on top of each other and the pool grounds aren’t killing our feet. This very outdated campground deserves 0 stars. By the way, if you do have any issues and try to talk to the owner, goodluck. He is too scared to get on the phone and has to get one of his employees to relay the message. Perfect example of getting a family business and it tuning to sh*t. Good riddance!

It was definitely the best family vacation in many years. We found everything we were looking for and more, for 15 days I saw my son be away from the computer and phone, asking from morning to night to go to the lake, pool or ride the train, not even the beach was in his plans. New friends that he still has and enjoy bike rides. The only unfortunate thing is that due to OVR policy, we cannot bring our pet, since our cabin is rented, and dogs are not accepted. It would be wonderful if they installed new policies regarding that just like other campsites in the area have, which charge a little more, but allow dogs that are also an important part of the family.Rooms: There are 3 of us, but the cabin has space for 6, a full bathroom, clean and neat, but of course, it all depends on the amenities and prices you are looking for.Walkability: At dawn, people go out for a walk or ride a bike, any time is good, children strolling coming and going, I loved that everyone greeted us, as if we had always known each other, something that has never happened to me in my house in the city. . with neighbors over 20 years old.Food & drinks: You can enjoy food and drinks in the on-site restaurant, which is always clean and the staff is always attentive.

Great place stay for families. Very accommodating on all levels.Very clean & well kept grounds. We have been RV camping for many years there with grandkids. They love it even now when they are mid teens. I believe it to be a safe place for the kids. Would suggest you parents to instruct kids on bike safety. As there is many vehicles coming & going. More expensive then some campgrounds but far better value for accommodations. One Happy CamperLen

This is our second time here and we absolutely love it. There is a lot to at the campground and it’s close to so many Jersey shore points that you can be as busy as you want. The staff is incredible and the bathrooms and showers are immaculate. Our only complaints were that our sewer hookup was at the very back of the site and our hose didn’t reach so my husband had to buy another one and that our site had absolutely no Wi-Fi. We were in Walnut 20 which is pretty far back.Nearby activities: Many shore points within 30 minutesWalkability: The campground is very large so if you’re farther back consider bringing a bike.Noteworthy details: There is a pool and splash park for the kids. There’s also a swimming pond with a beach a paddle boarding or boats. The mini golf is fun too

We have camped here in our RV a few times. Lots of amenities and things to do onsite as well as attractions near by. They have a nice pool with kiddy area, big store, on site eateries, mini golf, their own lake with a beach for swimming, paddle boats, fishing ponds, ball courts and fields, planned activities, themed weekends, live entertainment, it goes on. It will keep the kids and family busy for sure. It’s close to beaches. They don’t allow golf carts so if you’re not fond of walking everywhere bring your bikes and e-bikes because it’s a big place.

We stayed two nights at a campsite. The campground is a pretty big community with many different kinds of sites; cabin rentals, campsites, trailer spots, RV spots. I liked the cafe on location, the food was only okay and cash only, but it's all updated. The bathhouse was nice, coin-operated but good water pressure and temperature and also kept very clean. We didn't see any trash laying about. There's a pool and laundromat, a small fishing pond, and a lake. I'd probably come back.Nearby activities: Sea Isle City and the beach is minutes away, Atlantic City and Cape May are just a short jaunt as well.

This place has a great lake with a park and live music. The music is really great. I do wish they had a dock for the kids to jump in the water to make it more exciting in the lake. The mosquitos here are absolutely the worst I have ever come across. We were getting bit up all day and night. We have stayed at many campgrounds in this area and never had anything as bad as this one mosquito wise. I'm not sure we can return for this reason alone. Everything is kept nice and clean accept for the air conditioners in the cabin. I am sensitive to mold and could smell the mold and musty smell. Luckily I had a diffuser with me that worked well. The air conditioners should be cleaned at minimum once a season. I do have this issue in other cabins at other campgrounds as well. This place is big! I would have liked some trails for the kids to ride their bikes because most of the roads are narrow with some cars driving too fast. Our group didn't feel comfortable with our kids riding their bikes after dark. We had a very large branch that fell in front of our cabin that could have done some major damage to our car or one of us. It honestly could have been life threatening if it hit someone. I will add a picture if I can figure out how. There was some staff who drove by and cleared it quickly. The firewood was too wet. I feel we have the same issue at each campground but never enough room to bring our own wood. The cabins are very nice and spacious. the guy at the gate didn't want to help give directions. He ended up telling us the wrong way after I tried confirming the right way. Which was on the very first street! There were no signs for how long boats and paddle boards were open so we missed that as well. I went to the Cafe 20 minutes before they closed and they said they couldn't serve me anything but ice cream. 10 minutes I understand but not 20. Overall we would return if the mosquitos were under control. We did have a good time here overall.

I’m conflicted leaving this review. We loved OVR. We stayed there 2 years ago with family and loved it. This year we decided to rent a cabin and it was a mistake. We paid around $750 for a Thursday-Tuesday visit on “Halloween” weekend. As always the activities were so much fun! We lived at the pool, rode the train, went swimming at the lake, and ate our weight in ice cream from the cafe. The only problem we had with our stay was the cabin & bathrooms. We rented a cabin because we have a 2 year old who is highly allergic to mosquitoes and we felt that might be a better option than tent camping. We got to the room and we were instantly disappointed. We knew what we were signing up for, I did my research and looked up pictures. But what we didn’t expect was condition the room was in. It was covered in spider webs, and yes— I know we are staying in woods. But shouldn’t there be a cleaning crew that checks in before and after each guest? There was sand all over the floor. Luckily they left a broom for us to clean it ourselves. But the worst part was finding dirty underwear stuck to our “mattress” when we put our sheets on. I was so disgusted and disappointed. Not to mention with flu season & C19 rates rising again… it shows these pads we slept on we not sanitized and nothing was actually cleaned. The AC was horrible. It made everything in the room smell like mold/musty, including our clothes, luggage, and hair! We had to wash everything before we left & again when we got home. We were in a high traffic area and the bathrooms were heavily used. But they were on the verge of unusable. I had to clean the shower before I got in it. But using other bathrooms in less traffic areas was a lot better. It makes me sad to leave this review but I feel it’s necessary.

This place is special. Our fitst time camping at the shore and we fell in love with memories as kids being at the beach. Stayed 5 days and during that time we bought a seasonal site! Whats there not to love? There's a beach lake, pool, cafe, a store like never seen at any campsite and an RV store repair/parts store on the grounds! Train rides, Ice cream, activities and a community that feels like a neighboorhood. All the amenities of a resort and literally 5 minutes to Sea Isle City Beach! Everytime we go home we want to go back as soon as we can. LOVE OVR!

Been part of the OVR family since I was born, met my wife here when I was 12, now we bring our kids here regularly. At this family owned resort it is clear that no corners are cut and it gets better every year!! We camp at many places up and down the coast. This place is well worth every penny you spend here.Safety: Gated and responsive security.Food & drinks: The on-site snack bar has amazing g food and ice cream. Both the main one and at the lake

Love Ocean View Campground!! Used to visit as a child! The best times I ever had!I remember lake trips and pool days, the beach being so conveniently close, sea air, summer heat, dances for the kids, the trolly, the flea market sundays! I could keep going and going! Amazing place to take your whole family for a great experience!!! Highly recommended!!

We're only on day 2 of our 4 day trip, and we already know we're coming back! This place is so kid-friendly, quiet, and clean. Like ridiculously clean. The bathrooms come with AC! Made some rookie mistakes but the onsite store comes ready with essentials. We also accidentally kept the car on too long so it died. No worries, though. We called the front desk and in less than 10 minutes the Maintenance crew jumped our car so we can head to the beach. An awesome place for the family!!

Beautiful. They have an ice cream cafe open, beautiful lake & pool. So many things to do. If you forget something, the store is huge and the campground is so close to everything. The sites are pretty close but the trees still make it feel cozy. You don’t feel on top of each other.oh and there was some nice island music playing down by the lake last night. I will definitely come back!

Large campground with a lot to do and amazing amenities. I gave them a 4 star rating due to safety. They do not allow golf carts and to get around most people drive. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour and people fly through here. With the amount of traffic we had a tough time walking around with our little one and didn’t feel safe riding our bikes. They should definitely allow golf carts to reduce the traffic of people going to and from the campsites in their cars to get to places at higher speeds than should be allowed.

The campground is a wonderland for kids with a lake, pool, playgrounds, ice cream at the cafe and toys in the camp store! I would not recommend tent camping, it's really more for RVs and trailers. It felt like I was camping in someone else's front yard which was an odd camping experience, but might be nice if you're camping next to friends or family. It would be a big improvement if one trail was exclusively for tent camping with a common utility sink for washing dishes.

Been coming here since I was a toddler and although my family has tried other campgrounds we've always came back here. The facilities are all new and up to date with gated security and constant crews on cleanup. The public bathrooms are nice and clean with showers that cost .25 cents per 5 min. The crossthrough trails no longer seem to be lit so bring a Flashlight 👍

A very fun, well-kept and friendly campground. The kids love the sandy beach at the lake, store, nightly tram rides around the grounds, and of course the ice cream and arcade! We all had a very fun month! And only 5 minutes to Sea Isle and 20 to Ocean City, it’s in a great location.

Nice place! Convenient location. Came with 2 other couples. One couple in a cabin, the other couple and us stayed on trailer sites. It was clean and quiet. Seasonal guests with dogs off leash and coin op showers were the only real drawbacks. If the water pressure was a bit better in our trailer we would just have used our shower! LOL

Always a fun experience staying at the campground. The new store is fantastic with everything you need for a campsite or trailer repairs. What they do for the kids/families is great.Never really spend time at the lake on site but seeing it during a walk, it looks like a lot of fun, especially if the beaches are closed or busy

Nice large showers and clean bathrooms. Our campsite was roomy with plenty of space for our camper vehicles and 13x9 screen tent. Staff is friendly and efficient.Nearby activities: Large pool as well as a lake with a beach. Playgrounds and a huge camp store on site.

Very nice camp site. Everything was very well maintained. The cabin was clean when we arrived. The pool water was clean, clear and appeared balanced which seems rare for public pools. The lake also seemed very clean, with a nice sand beach and in the lake the bottom was sandy, not slimy. There was a well stocked store on site and cafe with fast food, snacks, and ice cream. Even the public restrooms were immaculate. There were not a lot of midweek activities, but we saw a pretty good magic show Sunday night. There is a pretty nice mini golf course on site, $6 a person. Less than 10 minutes to Sea Isle City and Cape May Zoo was a short drive.

We're beach bums at heart so we spent all our time at Sea Isle Beach about 10 minutes away. The campground was clean, quiet and very conveniently located to the shore attractions. I'm sure we will go back soon this summer. The space we occupied was perfect for our motorhome.
