I was lucked out that we found this lovely bakery on the way to the Lobster House in Cape May. Inside is full of antiques that were not antiques in my youth. The donuts were kept warm, soft, moiety, and not aggressively sweet. It has been a long time since I felt the gentle warmth of food on the tip of my fingers. Also, pineapple cheesecake is a must. It was not too sweet, soft, and the half-transparent pineapple underneath was fantastic. Also, if you have kids, ask the host to pat the little donkey on their farm. The host and her daughter working there were very kind. We loved her smile. I wish this bakery is in the Cherry Hill area too. Gosh, I already miss the donut and cheesecake!

My husband, now 58,(2021) used to come here every weekend with his father. They are STILL here after all these years! God bless them. Their donuts are absolutely worth the ride! Cheesecakes are scrupulously fantastic too( made the old fashioned way. Go ahead and treat yourself! You be happy you did. 10 ⭐️‘S. Oh and the cinnamon raisin bread is huge and makes fantastic French Toast!😋😋

I have been going to Frog Hollow for probably close to 25 years. Back in the day my brother and I would stay with our grandparents at their campground in the summer and we’d always stop - and they always gave me and my brother a free sugar donut! 25 years later, anytime I’m headed down the shore, I stop to grab some pineapple cheesecake, sugar donuts, and other treats. Even if they’re closed, I stop so I can visit my favorite Donkey Jimmy! As long as frog hollow is open, I’ll be stopping that’s for sure. Can’t wait to one day bring my own children here!

I am a pastry conisour, This place over exceeded any expectation that I have ever had about any bakery.I bought some of everything and was immensely impressed over everything I tried. Absolutely unbelievable experience. I highly recommend if you're in the area.I liked the sticky buns the most, but everything else was sooo close behind it.INSANE

The donuts are good. The butter cake is phenomenal. If you’ve ever had the little convenience store butter cakes try this one you’ll be in for a treat. Definitely worth the stop if you were in the neighborhood very rich, very sweet, very decadent and yes, it is buttery cinnamon buns are also very good.

Best cinnamon, sugar, donuts in the land, literally melt in your mouth and are served warm. One of the best parts of coming to the beach and picking up a bag of these treasures. i’ve been coming for many many years.

We have been going to Frog Hollow since the opened....I won't say how many years that is....Delicious cake donuts...honey buns....breads....rolls....etc.....and don't overlook the day olds....just a tad crispy....my favorites!

By far the best donuts I’ve ever eaten. I have fond memories of my father taking us there as children whenever we visited the sea shore. We would have to hide the bag of donuts from my grandfather since he wasn’t allowed to eat them but would sneak it. I love coming here for the fresh donuts. They are the perfect texture. My favorite the cinnamon sugar

Freshly made cake-style donuts that have simple yet delicious flavors. Cinnamon sugar is my personal fave, but even the plain ones are rich and delicious. $1 each is a steal, and will sell out in between batches. They have other breakfast treats too, though I've yet to try them. They also have a small display of handmade soaps from Oregon that had wonderful scents.Cash only, so bring money with you.

I didn't go inside, my husband did. He purchased doughnuts for himself and a piece of Danish for me. I prefer Danish made with fruit, this wasn't but was nice. He enjoyed his doughnuts as always. Frog Hollow is his favorite bakery.

This place is a great little tucked away house. Yes house. The donuts are so soft and tasty. Even the day old donuts are soft like they just made them. You really have to look for this house on the main road. The sign it tucked away but Do Stop in. They have breads but I haven't tried them YET.They sell out quickly and when they do they close shop. I highly recommend this little shop.

The best, always fresh, delicious, a total bargain. Much better than any bakery at any shore town, and that’s saying a lot. Beats Kohlers in Avalon, which is wonderful, and Dots in OC.

Small wonderful bakery. Lots of homemade donuts, sticky buns, and other treats. Located in a rustic old homestead. Best baked goods around. Worth the little bit of a drive away from the beach. Perfect stop on the way down the shore.

One of the “sweetest” memories of my growing-up years camping with my parents in Greenfield, NJ at the Frontier Campground , was early morning trips to the Frog Hollow Country Store ...for the most fabulous doughnuts around!I’m so delighted to see that they are still up and running, after all of these years!!

When I was little I'd walk in with my grandma and get some donuts and the sweet old man at the counter would always have a smile on his face and hand me a sugar donut on the house because he knew it was my favorite,great service and old fashioned charm 1 of the few family owned businesses left that hasn't changed a bit,highly recommended.
