Great store but the girl at the counter during the day with the short hair really shouldn’t be the one at the counter . She is never helpful and pretty darn rude .Yesterday going in there with one of my employees and seeing how she interacted with him and then with me it finally made it clear what her issue is ..I try to look past it , but to have a white person point it out on the ride out of there really let me see I wasnt wrong with what I thought .My thing is this , if you can’t treat everyone the same no matter who they are unless they are being extremely rude to you, then you should not be the person at the counter.And unfortunately because of my constant interactions with her I left the store a two star review and it’s sad because it’s actually a really great hardware store but you shouldn’t have someone with that level of ignorance be the person we are interacting with..

This was my 3rd and last time using the rental section of this business. The gentleman at the counter, (wish I had his name, but he has a beard and was working on 6/12/20 at 100pm) is the most miserable, unhelpful and poor attitude customer service person I have encountered in a long time. I mean come on, if you hate your job or people that much, why not work in the back or yard and away from customers. In this day and age of Customer Service, I really don't think any business can afford to provide horrible service. Honestly and without exaggeration, this guy should not be customer facing.If the owner of this business cares about their Customers, they should really work to correct this situation.As a Customer looking to spend my hard earned money, I have options and other choices, which I will now use based on this horrible service. (And again, not the 1st time having a bad experience with this employee)I would actually rate this review lower than a "1" if possible. I also see other reviews having had a poor experience as well. Came in to exchange a broken Craftsman hand tool and got a whole bunch of attitude from one of the staff members. They weren't able to replace under warranty due to an inventory of different part numbers. Disappointing but understandable. The rest of the staff was courteous and helpful including the general manager who eventually came out to help, but the woman who worked the floor was way out of line and rude to me. Advantage Ace is a well stocked store, but this was probably my final visit.

This guy has the saw blades I need. He says his guy is not here today and can’t sell them to me. No other stihl dealers for 35 miles. His website says they are open and a full service dealer.

Dealt with a man who worked there named Bobby, very thoughtful and knowledgeable a very pleasant experience. I left there feeling fulfilled and satisfied would highly recommend dealing with BOBBY

This place has a reputation. I gave them a chance. I rented a seeder that did not work. This was my second one for the first one I had was not going to work so I took another one. When I brought it back the answer they gave me was if you call in 30 minutes then they will send a mechanic. Never told me that either. Bottom line is they rent equipment that is not maintained and does not work.

Overall an ok experience. Expect to spend extra time there due to lack of organization. Auto parts and misc auto related products are a separate register. They really should integrate each POS with capabilities to z-out eod transactions to the appropriate department. Otherwise, it's ok. Wide selection of just about anything and everything.

Fully stocked for winter and summer needs. The staff is very accommodating, knowledgeable and they usually have whatever I'm looking for. They are a full-service hardware and garden supply store besides being a rental store.

Be careful doing business with this organization. The owners of this location (The Tower family) also own various other local businesses including Action Supply. An Action Supply truck hit a family member’s parked vehicle in Ventnor on May 12, 2021 and caused nearly $3,000 worth of damage. There is an independent eyewitness that saw the truck hit the parked vehicle. After avoiding our calls and calls from the Ventnor Police for weeks, Tim Tower, one of the owners, did eventually tell the Ventnor Police that Action Supply did in fact have a truck drive through the exact location during the time in question but he continues to refuse to provide us or the police with the vehicle information or insurance information. We are going to have to take them to small claims court. Tim Tower has been uncooperative throughout this process while looking for any way possible to skirt his organization’s responsibility. This is the tone at the top and I think it’s safe to say it trickles down. If you’re considering doing business with this organization I would suggest you search further.

Their store stock will get you out of a must do situation. Everyone was extremely helpful. Prices aren't the best, but it's a Ace hardware store, not a trade supplyhouse.

Service poor, person at counter just about talks to you, let you stand there wondering if he helping you or what.Does not tell you anything about rental, acts like you should know the rules and equipment. The women who work there are very nice.

Worst parts guy ever “Jim “gave him making model number of lawnmower and couldn’t be bothered looking up the part for it said he needed more information.yet I walked out to my truck put the make and model number in my phone and found that exact part number I needed why pay somebody when the customer has to do the work for them 😡

Its like pulling teeth trying to rent equipment. Called twice over a couple day period and still haven't been able to get a callback on 1)if the equipment is available 2) what the rental rates areGoing to rental country....

I stop here often, they seem to have everything you could possibly need to repair anything in your house, or even your car. They even have a variety of things for travel trailers.

Don't bother stopping. Staff not aware of featured sales and when manager requested we were told they were inside. Only reason to stop is there is no check out line because no customersToo bad!
