Wow. I had “The Slider” breakfast sandwich. It was a classic pork roll, egg n cheese n hash brown. I got it on an everything bagel and just wow. I grew up eating good jersey bagels all my life but THIS!? Wow. This hit different. Incredibly made. So delicious. Every component of the sandwich was absolutely perfect. Perfect crunch and flavor in every bite. The owner is very kind!

Very nice little bagel shop near the beach, and they made a decent bagel! The bagel itself was about a 7.5/10 and the Sausage, Egg and cheese were tasty and filling. Overall, I'd get it again and great for thr New Jersey area.

Fun little authentic piece of NYC in quaint Ocean Grove, NJ. Good bagels and other assorted breakfast options. Appreciated the availability of turkey bacon and turkey sausage.But what makes the place is the fun NYC style hospitality of the owner, pictured here!

Terrible Service. First thing I noticed was void left by the absence of everything bagels. Everything bagels are a staple and a well run bagel store should have plenty. Me and my friends ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 bacon egg and cheeses and a plain bagel with butter. Each sandwich had their own issues. My bacon egg and cheese had multiple hairs in it, the other bacon egg and cheese had ketchup on it when my friend specifically asked for no ketchup because she has a tomato allergy. The buttered bagel had only a small chunk of butter on one corner of the bagel which my friend had to spread out to eat. The kicker was that our food took 30 minutes to come out even though we were the only ones in the store when we walked in. I am never coming back here.

Was really hoping this would be the bagel spot in town but (see picture) this is their “veggies cream cheese”. Not only is it a poor attempt at a veggie cream cheese, they smear the bare minimum on, doesn’t even cover both sides of the bagel, these aren’t inexpensive bagels to start. They don’t have everything they offer the menu for example, asked for their cinnamon raisin cream cheese and they didn’t have it (got there at 8am). Additionally, the people that work there are rude to their customers. All around very unimpressed, hope they step up their game.

This place is 2.5 blocks from the beach front in ocean grove along main Ave. We ate at this place for the first time about 3 weeks ago and went two more times within three weeks. The food and price make you want to come back here. Bagel sandwiches taste great and the bagels are soft and fresh. Prices are reasonable. They currently have outdoor dining setup with limited seats. I highly recommend this place for a morning refreshing outdoor bkfst. For lunch I recommend their Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

Holy smokes, had THE best bagel at All Star Bagel by the Beach. So much flavor, and they do not skimp on the butter. Owner also recommended the french toast bagel with their own chocolate chip cream cheese spread...genius! It was fantastic! I highly recommend you try this place if you are visiting the area. 10/10!

Talk about one of the best breakfast bagels I've ever had. Got the slider, this thing was packed with flavor but didn't leave me feeling overly full. Yeah, it was messy, but it was delicious. If you walk in and you see a guy wearing a greased up white Tshirt, you know you're in for a treat. Quality, price was great, 5/5 easy. I'll be hitting this place up constantly whenever I'm in OG.

I got bagels from this place and my life changed forever. I ate one bagel and realized what it feels like to ascend above the human level. When I consume these bagels I am a god and a force to be reckoned with. You put one Bagel from All Star Bagel in my mouth and I am a god in human clothing. Lightning bolts SHOOT from my finger tips. All in all, meh.

Joe makes some terrific breakfast sandwiches on bagels. Try the Grand Slam... Bacon eggs and cheese with a hash brown too, all between a toasted bagel, yum. My dining partner at lunch the next day had a chicken sandwich which she claims is the best she's ever had, and she's a foodie. The chicken she said is always moist and tender. I'll have to try that next time I'm in. The place is busy and there's a few tables inside and out. If you're just looking for a toasted bagel with cream cheese, you've come to the right place as they usually have a dozen or more flavors of bagels available. They are not stingy with the cream cheese either, so be careful when you take a bite so it doesn't ooze out!

Would have given 0 stars if it was a option. We ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese and bacon in it, and waited 30 minutes. The gentleman that ended up helping us was very sorry and gave us a bagel free which was very nice of him. We wouldn't have written this review but then when we opened the bagels the bacon was Gray and not edible!!! Overall very horrible experience will not be returning.

New management is fantastic and this has become my new go-to spot. You can definitely tell that they use high quality ingredients, and service is very quick and friendly. Plus it's so close to the water and convenient to stop in for a bagel before hitting the beach. Highly recommended!

Great food and family friendly service.We had the Roast beef, pastrami, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and coleslaw. Every one in our family was well pleased with the food.As to service we had a wrong order and they quickly fixed it without any issues.This family friend and run restaurant is a must for any one in Ocean Grove.

Oh wow!! What a great bagel place!! The bagels were fresh, soft and tasted terrific not to mention the delightful vegetable cream cheese and coffee. Congratulations to the New Owner (is your name Joe?) of All Star Bagel by the Beach!!!!! You are going to be a great success! We loved the All Star, before, and, now the gauntlet has been passed to the fabulous new Owner, who is friendly and charming and accommodating with a staff who are friendly and smiling!!! My husband and I got a takeout lunch on March 8th, the official opening day! The sandwich contents were freshly cut with crisp lettuce and just right ripe tomatoes, the rolls were fresh. the coleslaw was delicious, and the pickle was delightfully tart! Would love multigrain chips in the future, instead of the classic chips we received (too salty)! However, chips are always a great treat, and it's just the beginning inventory! Kudos! Good luck! Under cooked chewy bagels. Too sweet too. Ordered a side of bacon. It was raw like they threw it on the grill to warm it up. Asked for 2 of the 6 bagels we ordered to be toasted. If that's what toasted is like they need a new toaster. They weren't even toasted. NEVER again. I don't recommend this place.Lol. Games. An honest review of what I received this morning is a game. Lol. Ok. Glad you think raw bacon is a game.

I dont see the big deal with this place. their bagels are not "home made". I was there last week and bought a plain bagel it was so dry and tasted like a frozen bagel placed in a microwave. I tried them again a now I bought a philly cheese steak and it was so sloppy. everything everywhere. I tried to take a pic but my battery was on 2% and the phone would not let me take the picture. smh. guess this is what I get for going the cheap way. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Very crowded in a late Saturday morning in June. We had to wait a long time for the order we called in, and they said "20 minutes." Turns out, they tell everybody 20 minutes! It was actually 50 minutes! Food was decent, not outstand and prices were moderate. Would go back again, but not expect my food in "20 minutes."

Went in for a very simple order two plain bagels toasted with cream cheese and the guy at the front counter could not even get it right. Service was very slow. Very disappointed! Tried to call and speak to the manager and no one bother picking up the phone.

Food is always good here. The bagels and spreads are delicious- however the teens who work here can bear a reminder that pleasant encounters with customers are decidedly better than blank stares or grunts instead of saying "you're welcome" to a thank you.

NOW THEY HAVE A SIGN IN THE WINDOW THEY ARE ONLY OPEN ON WEEKENDS! SMH, I don't know how you stay in business with that. Whatever.Good bagels. A little too expensive though. $6 for an egg and cheese bagel is a bit much, especially when you get home and it isn't done the way you asked. I'll make it myself from now on if I decide to stop back(just buy the bagel alone). I was very annoyed. Who wants to go all the way back to have it fixed?The hours keep changing. Closed at 4, then 2 , now 1. So be careful if you come out later and you're hungry.
