Very good pizza and a solid option to enjoy on the boardwalk. If you were to compare this to the other very popular boardwalk pizzeria the biggest difference in my opinion is the sauce at preps is far superior and their competitors have a very salty sauce. Great service as well

I dont have anything bad to say.Its 2023 the worlds on fire thats the only reason things seem to be getting so expensive. In that context, $25 for a custom pie aint bad.Personally wanted the philly cheese steak pizza, no discretion or picture so im taking care of that.Its basically a pizza stake.. but in pie form. It's not bad.If you're looking to try different places when in Ocean city, i would say try it.

Possibly the best pizza in New Jersey... maybe even the entire United States. Been coming here since I was six years old, and even though it has changed owners over the last few decades, the pizza and atmosphere is still the best.Perfect crust, toppings, and sauce. You couldn't ask for a better pizza by the beach.Staff is always friendly - even when they are super busy.Tip: Order a whole pie... you can do half-n-half as well. Pizzas are all made fresh to order. You can't go wrong.Vegetarian options: Customize your pie without meat if you want to go the veggie route.Parking: Free parking during off season, otherwise you're stuck looking for a lot during the summer months.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps from the street to the boardwalk make this very accessible.

We tried Preps as our normal place had a line down to the street. The white pizza had a decent taste and the crust was brushed with flavor and was good. I think the pizza was small compared to other places for the price.My only concerns are that the servers didn't seem to want to be there. My server never came back to us until it was time for the bill. The server for the table next to us messed up the order and was annoyed when told about it. There were a good amount of flies inside the restaurant. No lids or straws absolve make it hard for little ones to drink anything.I would suggest trying it if you haven't yet.

We have been going to preps since I was a kid. It’s been a really rough year with inflation and it was nice being able to eat at preps. This is one of the only pizza places on the boardwalk that offers affordable family friendly pricing with great service.We have ate there three times this week. We usually get pepperoni pizza or white ricotta. The Stromboli’s are good as well. We had the pepperoni bread and it was filled with cheese and pepperoni. The sauce was really good too. The pizza is crispy and thin. It has a perfect cheese to sauce ratio.It’s really good boardwalk pizza and it’s nice getting in and out of there!

This place has the best Pizza in my opinion 9n the Boardwalk. I've been searching for a cheesy, crispy crust pizza for a few years now and they have it. It's so delicious and the customer service was excellent. This is my new favorite spot in Ocean City.

Has been one of my favorite pizza places for over 35 years. Just wish they were open year 'round. It may be the cheese that makes this pizza. Dough is not too thick and the sauce is not acidic or too sweet. Get a slice the next time you are on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. 🍕The sauce is sweeter than most in the area, and on the boardwalk. The tradition seems to be putting the sauce on in a spiral pattern.9.9/10 this pizza has traveled back to NEPA ( near Wilkes-Barre, PA)I ❤ this 🍕

Their pizza by the slice is perfection, whole pies, also amazingly good. The service is quick and friendly, the place is bright and clean. The dairy bar serves high quality, hand dipped ice creams and sundaes. You will notice their attention to details!

Yo this place is low-key– Never mind hi-key the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. Get the Hawaiian pizza. It’s my favorite. The broccoli one is really good as well, and even just the plain cheese! Idk overall the pizza is just delicious. They need to become a chain business like McDonald’s or Domino’s or whatever. But better. The ice cream is good too, but on the boardwalk here I like to get Kohr Bros because it’s soft serve. No offense Preps.

Had an amazing pizza here at preps , me and my boyfriend both enjoyed the ambiance and vibr of this place over all it was a bit crowded but everything was fast and hot when it came to us. Our server was nice didn’t say much but still very upbeat and positive , everyone worked like a team! The pizza was incredible, crunchy bottom soft top ! The presentation was just awesome ! I 100/10 recommend this establishment if you are looking for good quality pizza !

The food was great. I enjoyed it a lot. However the crust was too hard in my personal opinion but not necessarily something they did wrong so I still strongly suggest it.Parking: Since this place was on the board walk you have to park outside the board walk and walk on the boards for itKid-friendliness: The slices are small enough for a kid to have a full slice.Wheelchair accessibility: The store is on a flat concrete slab which is on one level.

My favorite place to get pizza. Typically a much lower wait time (if any) compared to Manco & Manco. I get it every time there's an opportunity when im in the area and wish they would open up other locations. The updated interior is also very unique (see image). Another benefit for those out of town is access to their rest room located in the back.

Food as expected on boardwalk. Seems fresh. Ice cream here too. 😁 They are not a cash only shop. Big plus for me. ATM charges $4 to get cash. I don't usually carry cash. Finished pizza now. Was good. 😀

Always LOVE Preps! But has something changed?? This past weekend ordered 2 pies to go after an event at the Music Pier. $22 each, got them home, and both were way over-done, black and burned on bottoms. And pizza seemed doughier than we remember. Will give another chance, but hopefully they haven't changed in some way, cause this was nastiness.

Now that was very good pizza and a wonderful option to enjoy on the boardwalk. I had one slice of pizza and the fries because they costed $10.80. Thank heavens I was under my budget again. Can't wait to go back there soon.
