We've been passing this place for years and heard it was good but always saw a line there and skipped it! We since found out they were people waiting for ice cream from the window, not to get in! 😳 Finally decided to stop and got a delicious banana split made with Hershey's Ice Cream and all of the fixings! 🍨 We walked right in and sat down and our waitress was sweet! 😁 The decor was like a fifties soda shop and chock full of Coca Cola memorabilia! 🥤😉👍🏻Parking: Gotta a spot right out front!

Was on a mission to find the best Blueberry pancakes. (Went to several spots this trip) I found them. The whole family agreed that these are some of the best pancakes. On this trip we had blueberry, chocolate chip, and buttermilk. We also had the waffles, eggs and an egg sandwich. Everything was delicious. This has been added to our must go. It was so good we went back for a 2nd trip before we left.Must knows:Cash onlycheck hours before you goThey are not always open for breakfastOpen daily for lunch/dinner

1st time..the best food they served us was the fries...lol.Cheesesteaks weren't cut up,seasoned and served, they looked like two flat fried steak slices laying flat on each other with melted cheese on top. Reminded me of boxed frozen steaks at supermarket. Mozzarella sticks very well done. Everything served on smaller paper plates where cheese steak barely fit on plate.My advice would be to use real plates or larger to accommodate the food..cook the steak by chopping up and serve on roll with melted cheese covering cooked and cut steak pieces . Watch that fryer with the mozzarella sticks and if you find you've overcooked them to a dark brown shell finish , chuck them out and cook 4 new ones..The service was excellent..and restaurant was very clean. The problem was, we stopped to eat. We finished the food and although I was disappointed, and felt 40.00 was overpaying for what we ordered, I was still hungry....We were looking for a new spot to eat, but I guess this won't be the place

Had 3 days of breakfast, haven't been to the beach in years. I will return here at least annually. Fresh coffee, friendly service and hot fresh food.

Love this small, casual eatery in Ocean City, New Jersey. The servers are personable and attentive. Delicious burgers, steaks and salads. And we love the crinkle fries - they're never greasy and always cooked to perfection. And we have no trouble getting burgers and steak sandwiches without the bun or cheese. Great house-brewed iced tea, sweetened or unsweetened. You're guaranteed a great meal and service at Kessel's Korner.Vegetarian options: Salads and veggie sandwiches.Dietary restrictions: Dairy allergy, and no problem getting sandwiches without cheese.

Wanted a bite to eat while on the beach and Kessel’s was the perfect spot! The place inside was packed but I was able to get my meal to go and only waited around 10-15min for my food to come out. The server was friendly and attentive! Their cheesesteak with fries was delicious & some of the best I’ve had. It’s definitely a place to come & try!

Rode our bikes there to get breakfast. Had a nice bike rack in front which was a nice surprise. Nice table set up both outside and inside. Breakfast had very generous portions for the price. Will definitely be back! Get the Texas toast french toast!!

Stopped for some ice cream with the fam. I got a brownie sundae, but it was more of a lava cake than a brownie. Other than that... everything was great! The peach sundae looked amazing and I'd recommend that while it's still available!

This was the first place I ever ate at in Ocean City. Just wanted a quick tasty lunch for a decent price, and that's what I got. Wasn't that hungry, so I had half of my wrap for lunch and half for dinner. The waitress was so nice and attentive, which made the experience even better.

Heading through OC on our way south, and decided to grab a quick bite. Honestly surprised at how good the chicken sandwich was...the roll, the lettuce, the tomato...and the chicken were all really good. Two of us...slightly different sandwiches, were really glad we picked it. Fries were good too. All resonably priced.

AMAZING! There food is amazing for breakfast and lunch/dinner and dessert. They have amazing pancakes, which I recommend getting blueberries in them because jersey blueberries are amazing! Their cheese fries are also AMAZING. The only bad thing about this place is that it is small so going early for breakfast is better. The service is always amazing, the servers are always nice and attentive. I come here several times in the summer season!

Stumbled across Kessels while driving thru OC sightseeing. We only stopped for the Bryers Ice Cream. Can’t go wrong with Bryers. Glad we stopped. Food smelled great . We will come back for that another time.

This is supposed to be a chicken cheese steak…. This is the first time I ever experienced something like this….. i ended up with two of these….I wish I didn’t have to give it a bad rating because it’s a good place for ice cream.

What's not to love? Their ice cream is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the shop is absolutely spotless. You feel like you have stepped back in time, when things were simpler and you just feel happy!!!

Great little spot for a good lunch. Love the retro vibe you get. Reminds you of the jersey shore in the old days. Five stars.
