This place has the best selection of beach chairs! We found two beach chairs that we love along with all the accessories we need for a comfortable day at the beach. They also have a great selection of beach carts, umbrellas, clothing, shoes, hats and sunglasses. We love this place!

I have purchased folding chairs and beach chairs from Island Beach Gear in the past. This time I had a damaged chair sent to me. First time I needed Customer Service. I must say their Customer Service is excellent ! They sent a replacement for my LaFuma low chair and it arrived in a couple days.

Excellent customer service by store manager Yvonne Miller! Friendly and extremely helpful staff as well. High quality products are offered, and they even customized items that day in their shop to fit our exact needs. I was having issues trying to order some slides on their website, so I called customer service. The response I got was amazing. The woman I spoke with took the time to answer my questions, and helped me figure out that the size I would have ordered online would not have been the correct one. She made sure the right ones were shipped and I had them the next day. Wonderful!!!

My battleaxe of a wife dropped the bottom pole to our awsome Frankford & Sons 639SS Shade Star 6.5-Foot Diameter Beach Umbrella. TOP NOTCH customer service from Island Beach Gear to help with ordering a replacement part; and on the 4th of July no less. Very fast response to their Facebook messages. Five Stars!!!

I purchased a Big Kajuna beach cart that was over $900 a year ago. After using it a few times and having back surgery i realized it was not going to work for my family. I told the GM, Brent, and he was kind of enough to give me a full refund.It is so rare to find a business that truly cares about keeping their customers happy.I will go out of my way to give Island Beach Gear all of my business. They offer an extensive selection of products at fair prices and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

Reasonable price on hard to find Lafuma beach chairs. Responsive and helpful customer service. Quick free shipping via UPS. Items arrived as promised. I’m always hesitant to order online outside of the Amazon umbrella of safeguards. But these folks were absolutely fantastic. Bravo Island Beach Gear!

Ugh! What did I do? Leaving the house to go on vacation,the wife says "did you pack everything"? Yeah yeah,I said. We got everything! We're good! Not so good. I forgot the da#n umbrella. Yeah, the umbrella. You know,"the umbrella"!? You need two things for the beach. A beach chair and an umbrella. And I screwed that up. Luckily Brent and his team set me up with the perfect one! I am now the lucky owner of a happy wife and two umbrellas. Thanks IBG. See you next year.

This place is the biggest rip off ever. There merchandise is overpriced and the employees act like they know nothing. They offer a coupon for $5.00 off of $50.00 and my chair was priced at $49.00 and they would not honor the coupon. I purchased the identical chair in the local Super Fresh Food Store for $15.00 less. Do not buy anything at this store. This was my first visit and will be my last.

Bought a telescope beach chair via amazon sold by island beach guys. One arm had a "defect" where arm is rivited to frame. I called and spoke to Yvonne asking if i could swap it out for exact same item. NO PROBLEM...in fact she sent me a prepaid ups return label via email in about 2 minutes, and SHIPPED ME the replacement chair within 2 hrs ... BEFORE I shipped mine back let alone received the chair back. And its coming next day. All this DONE...within 24 hrs...chair returned, chair shipped...no paperwork. NO hassle. Yvonne is GREAT. THIS IS GREAT PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. 👌👌👌p.s. BEST price any where...

Incredible customer service! Ordered a beach cart and one of the wheels was the wrong size. I didn't unpack the box until we arrived at our vacation rental. Their customer service shipped the new wheel overnight, to my vacation address, (during hurricane Arthur and July 4th) and I had it the next day for our week at the beach. Its rare to find that kind of customer service in todays online market. Thank you IBG!!

Friendly and helpful staff, but items (even with the season ending) are really overpriced. I just can't see myself paying $60-$120 for a beach chair or $72 for a beach "rug".

We've found what we wanted there every year when we go to Ocean City. Since we are always getting there at the end of the season its pretty much picked out, so i can only give it a 4.
