We had our first visit today with Dr.Bobb and Courtney. They were both so patient and kind with our dog who is afraid of everything . They took their time and made sure Winston felt comfortable . I wish I could give them 10 stars! Highly recommend!

Dr Bobb and Dr Moberg are simply the best at what they do. The whole staff at the Humane Society is absolutely top notch, and provide excellent customer service. We have always brought our pets to the Humane Society, but had to take one of our pups to another vet for an emergency surgery last Friday. Thankfully Dr Moberg and Dr Bobb were able to fit us in for a checkup and ended up cleaning up the surgical work from the other vet and our pup looks to be making a full recovery. I can not put into words how thankful my family is for the tireless work and expertise provided to us by Dr Moberg and the Humane Society of OC. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I had begun looking around to Cape May County shelters looking for the perfect set of kittens. After having a solid back and forth email session with Jen, we set up a visit and while there met the three beautiful girls you see in this review. We immediately fell in love with the trio and as of writing this, it is day 3 of having them in house and it's been nothing but an absolute treat. The staff of the humane society made the adoption process super easy and they were very thorough with us. The amount of food given to us and services they offer to adopted alumni amazed us. The HSOCNJ staff helped us form our family and we are so excited for the many years ahead with our babies. :D

I took our kitten to be spayed & was very pleased with their professionalism and organization. I understand that they are a no-kill shelter, and that puts them at the top of my, “extra effort good guys” list.Scout is now fully recovered, and I am grateful that organizations like HSOC offer such reasonably priced veterinarian services.

I was surprised but excited to see some of the cats I met before COVID still safe and living at humane society. I absolutely love every pet there and believe you me if I can ever get that pet friendly "fur"ever place to call home...I will be adopting. The great part too is because they have a vet there your future pet has a chance to already have met it's Dr. Which can only be beneficial I would think if you choose to work together in the long run.

My daughter had recommended OC Humane Society because she had gotten her cat neutered there and I needed to have my Abigail spayed somewhere that I could not only trust with my baby girl but that was affordable and this place was it!!!! Everyone was so friendly and prompt. It was definitely affordable, I was able to get my Abby spayed and get her shots for $120! Thank you to everyone at OC Humane Society for taking such good care of my girl, I will tell EVERYONE that they can trust you with their fur babies 😉❤️

The Humane Society of Ocean City is the Best around in both Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Although some the staff are mostly volunteers, they try and do their best to accommodate. I would not consider taking my pet anywhere else. They're very kind, considerate, and very good. The Veterinarians are Class A, and very good. I highly recommend Ocean City Humane Society for any of your pets cares and needs. ☺️

No doubt their amazing just sucks that the three years I've tried calling them to see my cat at the Veterinarian I always have the same answer we're not taking new clients. And to add salt to the wound I live in OC 👍

My experience with the Humane Society of Ocean City, was absolutely horrible. The way the appointment is set up, they have you call and they send a vet tech out to get your animal. The vet tech approaches my vehicle to get information, in the middle of discussing, she pauses to ask if I will be paying for it today. My sister was with me and I told her that she will be paying. She proceeded to ask my sister how old she was. Still discussing things about our dogs, the vet tech then steps back, and says, “I’m sorry, I need to take a step back. I can smell your vehicle.” Finally, when our dogs were all set, Lisa the women at the front desk approaches my vehicle and says that she tried to call about the payment, but the phone went straight to voicemail. Mind you we had just got off the phone with the Vet, which had no problem contacting us. While Lisa is walking away I over hear her say, “Jesus!” They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I honestly don’t feel comfortable going back.

My review is only from a visitor standpoint, as I have no idea if their vet services are good or anything else really about what they offer.However, as a visitor, this place is quite annoying. The visiting times on Google are all wrong. They are closed completely on Tuesdays - we went and were told we couldn't see the animals because they changed their times. This is fine, but I wish I knew this before I drove all the way out there.They only have a few dogs at a time, and when you go in, you're not allowed to pet them through their cages. Their reason was for personality training, however I think this is completely dumb as how are your dogs going to become friendly with people if no one is allowed to interact with them? You just stand and stare at these poor dogs behind cages and can't even pet them, especially the poor puppies that just want to be touched. I'm sure if you came in with the intent to purchase they'd let you touch them. 🙄Their cat room is full of cats that you can pet and play with, which was fun.All in all, if you're a visitor just looking for something to do with hopes to pet some dogs, dont go here.However, if you're looking to purchase, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I love this shelter. I love it so much I adopted my cat from here and continue to bring him and other cat I saved from outside here instead of the shelter that's 15 mins from home. Staff are wonderful the clinic there is awesome. I cant have enough to say about them love all of them and would direct anyone looking to adopt or find a vet in there direction in a blink!!

I went here today - I'm on vacation - and I wanted to have my pet seen at an affordable cost as he is suffering from some sort of sneezing fits. I read the wonderful reviews here and was under the impression it was a full service veterinary clinic. I was wrong. They do not serve as a vet, and will send you elsewhere. Please be advised. They are not a full service vet clinic and will not see your pet. They are very kind however, and will send you to other vet clinics.
