We scored some excellent deals yesterday 11/2/23 sushi & mushrooms. Was surprised with my favorite sparkling water Wild Cherry 🍒 Clearly Canadian. It was quite a while since I had one & it was really refreshing!!

I didn't know how to set up the app and as a result, I am not able to get a free turkey. I have a phone number registered but that isn't how its done anymore. I have shopped exclusively at Acme in OC for twenty years. You have lost a loyal customer.

Market overall was decent and the prices were fair considering its in a Shore Town at the peak of Summer. Tight aisles and lots of stocking taking place made managing the store a little challenging at times. Staff was friendly and checkout was good too.

Every time you go into the restroom at this location it smells like the entire staff had explosive diarrhea in the sink. Prices are also crazy and they never have any kind of selection that the other stores have. You're literally going to spend three times the amount for one item as you would off the island

I would like to give a shout out to Charade in the Bakery Department on 8th Street Acme. On 7/6/23, she helped me by personalizing a beach-themed birthday cake at the last minute and did so very expertly. I also liked that she asked me to verify that the cake was correct before sealing the box. She was great!I also noticed that despite the crowds, the other employees were friendly, helpful, and good natured. It might be busy and tight and a bit expensive, but considering the family resort setting, this is definitely the best place to go for general groceries on the island.

I have been coming to this Acme and Ocean City for a week, every summer, for the past 3 years. I had never had an issue until this morning. My cashier was super rude. Joan. 70 year old lady. How do I know that? She told me. She told me after she explained that she would not be bagging my groceries. Normally, I would not have an issue with bagging my own groceries. I mean heck I only bought 4-5 items, but a customer does not need to explicitly told that a cashier would be refusing to help them. It made me really uncomfortable. If a cashier does not have the ability to put some eggs in a bag, why would you be a cashier. Doesn't that job require people to be able to lift a certain amount of weight? A quick google search says that a 18 carton of eggs weighs about 20 oz. Just a little over a pound. I promised Joan that the eggs wouldn't bite, but I do not think that she thought that joke was funny. Overall, I am only upset with how Joan treated me; If I was the only one she has ever been rude to while working here, I promise i will quit my job and apply at the local Acme to join Joan in the rudeness revolution!

I stopped at acme an hour before they closed an there was plenty of parking. I had some difficulty finding an item I needed since it wasn't the Acme I normally shop at, but a store associate must have noticed I was I need of assistance because she ask me if I needed help finding anything. She was so sweet to show me exactly where the diapers were.

Store and Pharmacy staff are always nice and helpful. Be sure to bring your own bags. Ever since the New Jersey ban on single use bags, some of the customers have been scumbags and stole all the shopping baskets because they are too cheap/lazy to buy/bring their own reusable bags.

Make sure you download the App even if you are just on vacation! So worth it! Cherries went from $5.99/lb to $2.99/lb. Also got a free reusable bag and $5 off our first visit.

Great store! Wide selection of groceries with most popular brands available and stocked full. I visited on a Saturday morning and there were multiple workers stocking shelves in every aisle! Parking lot is easy to use and well-designed. Deli, produce, meats & seafood top-notch! Highly recommend!

Been going here for years when we first arrive at the shore. Parking is always a problem even when you try to park underground. Typical Acme with respect to everything else. Well stocked. A but of a mad house during the weekend, but that’s to be expected.

You can find anything there. Prices are reasonable even in the season. Easy access from two streets. Nice parking lot with accessibility ramp. I was not able to find mint it looks like everyone is drinking Mojito at this s dry island ;)

For being the only market in Ocean City to grab groceries from, these folks seem to keep the shelves as well stocked as can be. Recommend getting there early on a Saturday, or going later in the day to avoid mass flocking of the week's renters. Also, don't forget about the underground parking, it's never crowded.

Nice store, well stocked. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. It does sit on a crazy hill or uneven area, walking in for some handicap is a little tricky. We never find handicap parking while there, just happen to be full.

(I've reviewed ACME before, but I guess it may have been lost.)Going to ACME has always been a relatively easy, pleasant shopping experience, IMO. Thr aisles are clearly labeled, and usually easy to navigate. They've got pretty much everything a grocery shopper is looking for. Although, their prices are more expensive than other grocery stores. The customer service is excellent, and it's always clean. The aisles are never too congested, making navigating and finding items a breeze.All in all, a good shopping experience. Even for those who dread going grocery shopping.

I visited Acme yesterday in Ocean City to do some shopping and upon going to Seafood freezer, I found that the lobster tails that were on sale were all gone.A employee named Kyle came out of freezer area and called the other Acme in Ocean City to see if they had any and they did. He had them put aside the amount I wanted and I was very happy.So hats off to Kyle who was very helpful, professional and kind in helping me. Wish there were more like him!

I liked how clean the supermarket looked. Nothing was out of place. Had good deals. Only issue was when I was playing for my food, I was being watched by several of the employees as if I was going to steal because I had so much stuff I was assuming. And it's predominantly an area where I don't see to many ppl of my color. But don't treat me like that because not everyone steals especially based on their color or background. I don't like being put in situations like that because I pay for everything I get and if I don't have the money then I guess I would get it. Try not to make outsiders feel unwelcome. It's like you could smell that I wasn't from your area. The lady making sandwiches seem genuinely sweet. She was a great multi-tasker.

They have underground parking but elevator doesn't always seem to work well. The handicap riding carts weren't working at all, therefore, I haven't been able to go shopping there anymore. It's the only grocery store at this end of the island but it's also more expensive than other Acme Markets off the island. They run out of items quite often too. Their fresh foods in the bakery and deli seem to be very good tho.

I personally thought the prices were high but then again, everything on vacation is high. I was annoyed when I got to the check out and they had NO BAGS. You have to bring yoir own recycled bags and I didn't know this prior to visiting.

Good selection for a small island grocery store, if a bit expensive. We didn't interact with the staff very much - and a few times people seemed to be standing around and just talking to each other, but it wasn't very busy so that can be expected - but the nice lady who processed our items at checkout was very friendly and helpful when we asked about island COVID policies and impact.

Kudos to the crew here who really turned this store around about five years ago. I know it sounds crazy, but the store-made Italian hoagie might be the best hoagie on the island. (Still a great hoagie and best on island but now $6!) Occasionally it is featured at $5.
