Juan and the ladies do such an amazing job! The quality of the work is outstanding! The shop is always clean and they are very friendly!! I started using their services when they first opened and was always very happy with the services they provided. My dog passed and I had not used their service for about 2 years. I brought my new puppy there to be groomed and they are still AMAZING!! My pup looks great and he was so happy there! I will continue to be a long time customer!

Took my baby boy for bath and blow dry. He came out smelling so good, with fluffy hair and wearing a bandana. I thought it would only be a bath but they shaved his privates, and paws so well. Also rounded his paws hair and clipped his nails.He has his groomer but she wasn’t available for that day. We couldn’t bathe him at home and he was long overdue for a bath. We got a same day appointment 👍🏼

Updated review as of last week 5 ⭐️ to 1 ⭐️ with photos of my dogs “groomed” pictured outside:I called a week after my dogs grooming appointment to say I was not satisfied with how my dogs were groomed. The employee told me she could not do anything because the policy is they will only do anything 1-2 days after the groom & why did I wait 1 week to call… my dogs hair does not grow back within 1 week. I typically go every 4 months. I was told I would get a call back after the employee spoke to the owner but it’s been 2 days & I haven’t heard back. No discount was offered for the next service & they would not take them back in to give them the proper cut that I was told they would get when I walked in!!! My cream goldens neck hair is flipped the wrong way still & her tail was cut uneven you can see both in the photo & no bandana. I paid 140$ for both of them & I tipped & when I walked in they asked me if I wanted the regular since they have already been groomed here 3-4 times before this!! I am a loyal customer until I feel you have done me wrong. I have already found a few other places in the area that have a great reputation. Please compare my dogs pictures of outside (recent) vs inside (how I expected them to be groomed as they told me they would be)Original review a year ago has almost 6000 views on google pictured with my 2 goldens inside:Really love how they groomed my 2 goldens! They smell great & look great! Thank you we will be coming here in the future for grooming! The groomers are very nice & facility looks clean.

DO NOT take your dog to this place. Took my dog for a grooming picked him up seemed like everything was fine. Until I realized his paw was gushing blood. Tried to call the golden bone to see what had happened during that time and no one picked up the phone. I had to rush my pet to the hospital. Please reconsider taking your dog here.

I have been struggling to find a groomer who can wash, brush and trim my dog, Drogo, well due to his husky-like coat. I have never gone to the same groomer twice so far because of the sub par job. I paid LESS for this groomer then any one so far and it was the best job. Not only did my pup come home smelling amazing, he was trimmed perfectly. They even added a cute tie. Amazing place, amazing staff and 100% recommend.

Awesome experience from the moment i called until I picked up my dogs! My 2 dogs usually go somewhere else but I couldn’t get them in for 5 weeks. I called The Golden Bone and they were able to get me in within 5 days! I was nervous just because it’s always scary to drop off your babies at an unfamiliar place but even the drop off was amazing. The front desk girl was very attentive to my instructions especially with my senior girl who has horrible skin issues. My bigger boy is very nervous when put in crates and I was so happy to see at pick up that he came running to me and wasn’t crated and was very happy. Love this place, will definitely be bringing my babies here more often!!

I called yesterday and received prompt accommodation with my work schedule. In addition, the lady that answered the phone was professional and listened to my concerns. She immediately had Brie contact me to answer all my questions. Brie was professional and knowledgeable as to what grooming services would be best for our pup morkie. Today was our puppy Nova's first time and she looked BEAUTIFUL! Her hair looked like a pearl and felt so silky. The cut was perfectly shaped only where needed. Needless to say, she looked so happy and comfortable with Brie, I was so impressed. I highly recommend The Golden Bone Pet Grooming. Thank you so much for taking such loving care of our puppy! 💝

I have been bring Kobe there for months in the beginning they was cutting Kobe good then I feel they got lazy I have complained about the service they would get the cut right again, then disappoint me again . My dog recently had a tick on him so that means they are not thoroughly sanitizing the place .

My first time at Golden Bone Groomers since I had my puppy Bella. I was concerned since Bella is a pup and I did not know how she was going to react to being groomed. I spoke to Juan to make an appointment and explained to him my concerns and he understood and put me at ease. He was very nice and accommodating on the phone and in person.The place was very clean and I left Bella there with no concerns. I would definitely recommend this place to other furbaby parents. Juan and his assistant are great!

This place is fantastic! I’ve tried everywhere for our labradoodle and this is by far the best haircut he has gotten. The salon is super clean and really nice inside. Everyone is very friendly and the price was very reasonable. We will be regulars here for sure!Update: another visit to The Golden Bone abs another great experience!

I brought my 4 month old puppy in for his first trip to the groomer and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and accommodating. My dog was so cute and happy when I went to pick him up. We will definitely be returning!

The customer service is terrible at this salon. The groomers are rude and uncaring. My dog trembles uncontrollable upon entering the salon. I always justified her behavior to myself as it being her temperament until today. After over 5 hours, the grooming still wasn't completed. I was never called or informed of staff shortage when I dropped the dog off. I took the dog home without the service being completed as I did not want her to remain in a cage any longer. The staff could care less that I was leaving. They did not apologize for the lack of service or care for the dog.

When I called to make my appointment, I explained that I wanted to get my puppy groomed but that I wanted to stay there with him the entire time. The person who booked my appointment told me that wouldn't be a problem. However, when I got there for my appointment the groomer was extremely rude and told me that it was no longer their policy to do that and that if I had to stay then he would not groom my dog.The worst part is that he was really nasty about it, like they recently had a bad experience with doing that.Anyway, I didn't try to argue with him, I left and found Petco in West Orange, and they were more than happy to accommodate me and my pup. Plus, the service was great, and they were about 3 hours faster

This is one of the best dog grooming services I have had. My wheaten terrier had the best hair cut and bath, I could have hoped for. We have struggled a lot as he does amazing at the grommets but all have not been able to do a wheaten hair cut. Or followed my very specific and detailed instructions (he’s allergic to certain blades). I called on the weekend and was able to get a appointment with in two days and no deposit needed. Which was great beacuse I had called about 9 places and they all required a deposit or were booked until mid December. They were extremely friendly and delivered 100% on my expectations. It’s very affordable as I paid half the price I would have paid else where. Excellent work and I’m a very happy dog mom; will most definitely be taking pups back as we found our furever groomers.

Honestly this is one of the best groomers in New Jersey!!! The prices are affordable and the grooming is amazing. I brought my Wheaton terrier here and I can’t stress enough the amount of detail in the haircut and it couldn’t be any cuter!! My dog is happy and so am I!!! Juan and the girls that work there are so nice and have great customer service. If your looking for a groomer that will treat you and your dog like one of their own this is the place for you.

My normal groomer was all booked up for several Mondays and Saturday’s. I just googled groomers near me and so glad I did. They are less then a mile away from me. They are also very friendly and accommodating. I needed a last minute appointment and they squeezed my Archie right in. They groomed Archie just the way I like him. He looked like a million bucks when I picked him up. I’m always anxious to try new groomers because you never know how the animal will take to new people. Well upon arrival they had nothing but praise reports about Archie. It was a perfect match Archie loved them and they loved him. This will definitely be our new groomer. I really loved that they groomed him exactly as discussed. Thank you so much we couldn’t be more happy. We are so glad we found you and you are so close.

I made an appointment for my two dogs a week in advance. I show up today and the appointment was canceled because they said I did not pick up the phone this morning to confirm. I confirmed when I made the appointment, and the person I had talked to did not say anything about having to reconfirm. The the man who greeted me at the door was nice, but seemed not to care as he had re-booked. Did not offer a new appointment.

Best groomers ever! I was so nervous bringing my dog in because he’s squirmy and needs a sedative before a haircut. They completely reassured me that everything would be fine. I felt really at ease and happy. He looked PERFECT when I picked him up. I know my dog is a hand full and I’m so happy they took him and did such a great job. 5 stars all around.

I took a 5 month old doodle puppy in for his first cut. They had my dog for 4 hours when I went in they said they would not finish him. They are cage free which I wasn't aware of. Wouldn't have went with a puppy if I knew he would be around large dogs. They said all he wanted to do was play and peed on there floor. Well hello it's a puppy. So he came out half shaved to the skin when I asked for a puppy cut. Experienced doodle owner this is my 3rd doodle. Not one mat on his puppy coat and he was brushed with a slicker and combed out before groom. Horrible service and attitude. I don't get the reviews. Something isn't right. If you can't handle a 12lb happy puppy there's something wrong

After trying to find a good grooming spot for my pup I finally came across The Golden Bone! Super happy with this place and would recommend it 10/10 to anyone. They are friendly and have always met my needs when it comes to grooming my pup the way I want which is usually a teddy bear cut. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Their folks are always courteous and timely with the groom. They even put an affordable little neck kerchief on my pup, and she wore it proudly. I buried the lead, they ended up being cheaper for a wash, cut, and clip than the big corp stores.

BEST grooming ever!!!! I have been bringing my Doodle Man to the Golden Bone since they opened...Excellent, caring staff who does a wonderful job groom my dog! He always looks and smells wonderful. I always have specific instructions that they follow each time and are always more than cooperative! They treat my dog like he is their own with lots of love!!! Couldn't ask for anything more! Will never go anywhere else...
