I have been coming to Nutley Animal Hospital for 15+ years. My father brought our family pets here when I was a child. Now as an adult and even moved, I also bring my fur babies here. The drive is worth every second. I trust Dr. Re and team to know my pets are in good hands. I wouldn’t bring them anywhere else. Dr. Re is beyond knowledgeable and compassionate. I cannot recommend Nutley Animal Hospital enough. Thank you for All that you do!

Love this vet office! The office is easy to get too, with a nice parking lot. It’s also very clean and the staff is wonderful! We have only gone for yearly check ups for our cat but they have taken great care of her and have been timely with test results. We are a big fans!

We were new to the area, and it was important to find a reputable Veterinary Clinic nearby. Everyone at the office was friendly. Dr Odelugo performed a thorough exam on our beloved Ridgeback mix, Max. We will definitely return there for continued care of our furry friend!

Every one was friendly at the front desk. Dr. Maria Gennace and her assistant Sonia were very patient and thorough with my questions and concerns. I had previously scheduled an appointment at another vet but had an issue. I then went to Nutley Animal Hospital and not only did they go the extra mile over the phone with me when my pup was not feeling well, they also were super nice when we arrived and we had a great first appointment! Truly happy the other place didn’t work out and we went here instead. Appointment time was quick and the doctor was helpful in answering all of our questions. Clean office as well.

My dog was injected with the wrong medication. He goes there every month for years, and due to the lack of communication within the staff my dog now was injected with a medication that he should have not received. Leaving us with fear of a possible Reaction and side effects that we now have to monitor for. I am very upset and disappointed since I’ve been going to this establishment for years with all of my other pets. Do better Nutley animal Hospital our pets deserve it!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say! There was an incident that happened at my last veterinarian & all the records for both my cats were lost. Nutley Animal Hospital were more than willing to help me. The entire staff were extremely pleasant & accommodating. I remember everyone who helped! Renee, Jessica, Linda, & Luis.Dr. Schulman is my new favorite veterinarian!! She was thoroughly informative & took her time to explain everything in detail. She was also very empathic towards both my cats. You can tell she is a well seasoned veterinarian & has been doing this for quite sometime.This indeed, will now be the main place I take both my cats & any pets I have moving forward!Thank you Nutley Animal Hospital!

Felix & Oskar are amazing with Dr. Gennace! They have been going to her for their annual check-ups since they were 8 weeks old (June 2015), so for about 8 1/2 years now. Nutley Animal Hospital has the best veterinarians, vet assistances, technicians, and receptionists. I could never imagine taking them to another clinic for their health & well-being. Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for and nothing less. Even though the boys only go for annual visits, Dr. Gennace always remembers who they are and their history. Most humans cannot say the same for their own physicians. And a new member of the family, Lucky, got to be seen by Dr. Gennace for an injury he was suffering from. Antibiotic & pain meds. Plenty of rest. He will be good in no time.

Horrible, gave my puppy steroids and benadryl and she knocked out and I could not even wake her up, i thought she was going stop breathing, the doctor said benadryl does not have the same effect as humans. He was wrong, overdosing my puppy

Dr O. was so attentive to our boy Rufus. He addressed all of his new issues and offered a cohesive, detailed plan of care. So happy to report Dr. O. followed up with his blood work results and again gave specifics on his future care. Could not be happier, especially because Rufus is making dramatic improvements!

I must say this vet was extremely nice. The ladies in the front answered all of my questions, and even helped me out during the snowstorm. The assistant which was a male handled my dog so well like it was his own.he alap was informative and helpful. They were able to see us as an emergency and give us meds right on the spot. I’m definitely please and will be going back.

Doctors and the entire staff here are absolutely fabulous. Very caring patient, kind and thoughtful. They all care about the animals and the human owners. I only came here for the last 5 months of my fur baby Brains life. Brain was super relaxed there from the first time I came in so I knew we were in the right place. He came to see Dr Re very sick in August 2022 and I truly believe the reason I got the time I did was due to his excellent care and knowledge. From the moment I brought him in to the time I had to make the dreadful decision to put him across the rainbow bridge every one was so caring and supportive. The last night I brought him in the whole staff was so comforting. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I will entrust all of my future fur babies to your care.

Was there yesterday with my best friend, the one and only, Bidu. The host department is made of 2 super nice ladies, do not remember their names. Once you go in, another super nice lady does the pre consultation and then a Cornell graduate, super nice and knowledgeable, took such a great care of my dog. Very informative and to the point. I highly recommend this place. Read the reviews and they are correct. This place does care about the pets.

Dr Ray saw us. My Yorkie has stomach issues. Dr. Ray did a great job figuring out what the issue was. I would suggest him to anyone. He has knowledge about all animals from dogs to horses. I’m very happy with the outcome and treatment of my dog.

They did their best with our cat. Amazing doctors and staff there. Thank you Dr. Tuttman for everything you did and as always, Bri BasileUnfortunately, our 8 year old cat Karen threw a clot while we were helping her with her kidney disease and it no longer made sense to treat her. It was Dr. Tuttman's day off and Doctor Gennace was there to help on very short notice.Even the front office staff was great. Helpful and friendly. Answering questions and checking in our little girl.Everyone genuinely cared about what happened with Karen. There were tears all around when we had to put her to sleep.Options and procedures were always fully explained. Time was never an issue and we have no regrets. We never felt as if it was all about the money or pushing for treatments that we weren't best for our baby.Even though there are a few vets in between our home and Nutley Animal Hospital, we will be taking our other two cats there on a regular basis.Thank you for the love and help. You are doing the work of the angels.
