Now that Aetna owns CVS - Dr.’s have to jump through hoops to get patients their appropriate medicine. Whenever there is further authorization needed, CVS does not follow through. It’s exhausting and makes it difficult to access healthcare.

Used to be a good pharmacy now they are the worst customer service has decline, very disrespectful workers there and the young manager that they have need to go to because he don't know how to be a manager he is very rude as well sooner or later when you don't have no customers over there and you got to close down you know why

The pharmacists and workers at the Nutley CVS have been outstanding every time they have helped me. Recently I retired and my medical changed for my family. My wife, special needs daughter and i all have different coverage. My daughter is not on Medicaid. When i recently purchased a prescription for her, the Medicaid card did not work. It said that it was still her secondary. Demetria spent extra time with me and explained what I needed to do to correct this. She was correct. Then she helped reimburse me for the cost of the medicine and it will now be covered by Medicaid. i thank her and i thank CVS.

Dropped off prescription through drive-thru, they promised me a 1 hour turnaround time, 4 hours later when picking up, the medicine was not ready. Not only was the medicine not ready, they informed me that the insurance information was wrong. They wouldn't accept my insurance card through drive-thru although they received it 5 hours before when I dropped off the medicine. I asked for my prescription back and went to Walgreens.
