To all who have their pets groomed at Donna’s Pet Shop. Kristen, the groomer, was FIRED by the owner, Donna after being injured while working on the job. Her reason for the firing is that she needs money to come into the shop. I am mortified and can’t phantom why Donna would not assist Kristen to recover and work with Kristen until she could return to her valuable duties. Kristen as the groomer is a magnificent woman with a heart of gold. Donna will loose much more without Kristen. Since grooming services are no longer available at this time, Donna needs to update her website, otherwise, she is not being truthful regarding the services her business offers. I do hope that Donna will rethink her decision regarding Kristen. I hope others will vocalize their disappointment as I have.DONNA IN RESPONSE TO YOUR POST:Donna - 1st I did not say she was fired because she was injured. She has been let go AFTERWARDS while recuperating from her job related injury. Interesting that you don't know when she may return and yet, I have an appointment for 1/31. I really think if there is a return in the near future and you are honest with clients, they can certainly understand and be patient for a groomerike Kristen who connects with the cats and dogs she cares for.

Kristen at Donna's Pet Depot is hands down, the best groomer. I was nervous about taking my 7 mos old Aussie puppy to anyone. But my Ellie is a typical puppy, getting into everything and desperately needed a good professional groom. My biggest concern was finding someone patient enough to deal with a bouncy puppy with some fear issues. My next issue was getting the type of trim I wanted for an Aussie. Kristen didn't disappoint and has a permanent customer!Besides a short video proving my puppy was not freaking out (like I'd half-expected), the quality of both Ellie's first experience and grooming is impeccable. Ellie looks better than I'd hoped with her perfectly groomed "Aussie pants". Kristen KNOWS how to handle puppies and groom to breed standard. I'm impressed and will be back! Thank you!

We only have great things to say about Kristen, the groomer at Donna's Pet Depot. Our dog feels safe and comfortable there, and Kristen really listens to you, and cares about building a relationship with your pet. Our dog can be nervous/skiddish, and Kristen works her magic on her. She's a true gem, and does a great job. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I've been coming here ever since moving to NY 10 years ago. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable, and I feel confident that whatever I purchase is well-curated and good for my cats. They have helped immensely with choosing food for cats with various health problems, like IBS and crystals. And a big plus is Nacho the parrot.

Great store... with great salespeople, and a very considerate owner. Their high quality selection of food keeps my dog healthy. Hard chews, like antlers, keep her occupied.

We use donna’s pet depot to board my rabbit, Penelope. They are super kind and great with my bunny! It’s great they have their own cage and food etc so you don’t have to pack your rabbit’s up!

My dog was so long overdue on her grooming and was in need of the complete works! Kristin does such a great job with grooming my girl! Kristin is so patient and kind with my super nervous dog. My dog looks absolutely beautiful after her morning of beauty! Best groomer! Thank you Kristin!! 👍🐕💖

I took my dog for grooming recently. Both Kristen and Erica did an excellent Work on his grooming needs. Dona the trainer , Donna the store owner and josh all give a higher quality, reliable service and comfort for us. This is all-in/one stop and highly recommend this as a pet owner. Hope they soon join with some good veterinarian service offerings ( is the only thing missing ). Thank you.

Every time I've gone to Donna's Pet Depot, I've had a wonderful experience. Not only is the staff friendly and helpful, but the animals are always clean and happy. I buy supplies at Donna's for my dog, parrot and guinea pigs, and everyone at home is happy! I also love Donna's parrot Nacho at the front counter, who is the world's nicest welcome ambassador! Donna's is truly a local gem of a store.

Donna’s Pet Depot is my go to for all my pet’s needs. Fully stocked with all kinds of foods, pets toys, chews, dental care products, beds, fish needs, small animals, and much more. Not to mention Sydney (hope I spelled that right) and Josh who are always so friendly and helpful. The whole staff is great as well. I highly recommend Donna’s Pet Depot. If you can’t find what you need, just ask.

Fantastic store! Donna and her team are so knowledgeable and really care about their customers and our pets, and she stocks a range of quality brands across different price points. Love that they are also involved with local rescues etc. No big box stores for me.

Truly the best place around. I even adopted a kitten here and when his belly was not doing so well I took him to the vet. Countless meds did nothing. One day I mentioned this to Donna and she recommended a new food. Within a week he was good. Its been 2 years now and all three of my cats eat this food still. Best staff and supplies ! a million stars

I brought my 4 cavaliers to be groomed. Kristen is patient and kind. She discovered a growth on my dogs ear that was so bad and raw, I brought him immediately to the vet. It was a benign growth, but I would never have found out. She does a great job and the facility is clean and I love the fact I can stay with my oldest dog. I would highly recommend this groomer and Donna's Pet Depot.

Donna and her team are very knowledgeable in nutrition for my dogs. One has terrible yeast allergies and she found me the perfect food for them. They have a great selection of everything you need for your pets too.

Our dog Mac was there for the first time this week and the groomer was fantastic. Mac is poddle which is hard to groom but we were very pleased with the results. The cashiers are super friendly and highly recommend Donna’s pet depot.

Amazing groomer. Erica, took care of my german shepherd like a true professional. My dog is not always comfortable around other dogs. She knew just how to keep my dog's attention and kept her (my dog is a female) calm and in place. Thorough in the cleaning. Great job.

I have been going to this Pet Shop since they opened, I love the fact that they have so many animals that they take in as rescues get them healthy and adopt them out. The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful and you can tell how much they love the animals. If you're an animal lover or have ever done rescue I recommend supporting this business. Donna has the biggest heart and you can be sure that any animal you adopt from them has been loved and cared for..Great prices, great service and animal friendly!! I try to support local buisiness as much as possiple especially one that goes above and beyond like this place!

My two dogs, Cain, a Dobermin-Pitbull (100 lbs) and Sancho Panza, a Golden-Chow (77 lbs) have both been groomed and cared for at Donna's Pet Depot. The grooming has been terrific following some specific directions we gave. Nice people. Couldn't be happier with the service.

I generally like to support local small businesses and have been a long time customer. However, I was very disappointed at my last visit. Called ahead to make sure they had medication and was told it was in stock. When I went to pick it up they sold me the wrong dosage when I pointed out the mistake was told oh we're out of that. They should not have unknowingly sold me the wrong product. Will be looking for new store...

Horrible groomer. She doesn’t know how to communicate. Wastes your time and doesn’t tell you your appointment is cancelled until you get to the store. Wasted gas and my time. And after reading all the bad reviews about her I don’t know how she still not fired….

The store and the owner are nice but the GROOMER was horrible... I brought my dog last year ...She complained about my dog because she was old and had to be accommodated on the floor and then did a lousy job besides.... The store part is good with great products but never go to the groomer... shes the worst!

I love this place. They offer a military discount and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was able to find Orijen premium dog brand at a reasonable price there and it is very difficult to find this brand of food anywhere.
