Super Foodtown of North Arlington is a great place to shop. I love their Deli section and the made in the store items. This week we were big fans of store made quiche!! They were on sale for $2.88 and so darn delicious! The store itself is small and easily manageable to shop without getting exhausted! The sale items are easy to find and clearly marked! The workers are extremely friendly and ready to help at a moment's notice! Thebakery items are delicious and also very eye appealing! They evenhave a plant and floral department where you can find the perfect gift. They also sell greeting cards by the costumer service desk. It's a great place to shop!

I'm a long time customer of jacks food town. Recently I became unable to walk distance without the use of scooter . I've been going to shoprite for the use of multiple scooter they have . My wife informed me that Jack has a scooter . I returned to jacks only to find out the scooter not charged so I had to be put out and use my wheelchair. I returned a few days later to find the scooter still not charged . I'm sorry that I have to return to shoprite for my own convenience

Good little grocery store. I just stopped to buy a quick snack because I was in a hurry. I was able to get in, find the bathroom, find the items I wanted, pay, and get out in just a few minutes, which was perfect! I especially appreciate that parking is right in front of the store, with an absolute minimum of walking needed to get from the car to the entrance. That's why I much prefer a store like this over Walmart.

Whenever I'm in a hurry and need to go to a supermarket to buy the ingredients for dinner, I opt for Super Foodtown in North Arlington,NJ. Easy to find parking, I make my shopping list quickly and the prices are affordable.Not to mention that the staff are very polite and the place is very clean!Pay a visit and you will be satisfied to buy in a place like this!

DELI IS NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY! Went to ask the deli rep to make a sandwich or wrap with roasted veggies and they told me no, cause there's no code. I will say the gentleman did try to give me other alternatives which included a garden salad. BIG HELP! It was better than how Acme in Jersey treated me, but still no help. How do you have a WHOLE prepared foods section and no accommodations for vegans. Crazy! 🙄

What a joke. Nice workers and has always been a nice place to shop but the recent decision to get rid of the 3rd Wednesday of the month senior discount is a slap in the face to the most vulnerable of our society the elderly. The economy is horrific for everyone, both shoppers and small business owners. Right now prices are insane, mostly because of increased transportation costs and supply chain issues and I realize that places like Foodtown have to jack up prices but to take away this small benefit to seniors is callous. Hopefully the economy will recover but the elderly are on fixed incomes and are getting devastated. Enjoy the extra couple dollars Foodtown at our expense.

Best deli in the area hands-down. For all of your salad needs they make everything fresh. The people know who you are when you go in there. Nice small clean store. It’s expensive compared to the other food places but it’s worth it. Cashiers are very nice. But I specifically have been going there for years for the deli department like many other people. I also highly recommend the rotisserie chicken which is the best in the area by far. And I’ve tried all the other supermarkets and this is way way better. If you need coleslaw potato salad macaroni salad tuna fish chicken salad it is all homemade. And that’s just the first list of things that’s homemade there. Extremely competent friendly people who work in the deli

A bit expensive compared to nearby shoprites, but they have really good prepared food. Sometimes may encounter an attitude from staff but not often. Vegetables are fresh and baked bread is good too.

Like stepping back in time to a supermarket from the 80s. Prices are ok, especially when things are on sale, but otherwise higher than the competition. Rarely more than one or two registers openz so even though it isn't usually crowded, you can get stuck waiting a while online to check out.

Great service at deli and at the register. And if you have a question the help you get wht you need. As far customer service the women was with attitude and mean not helpful. Need to get someone nice! The employee even said she always like that.

The people who work here are all very friendly , especially in the deli. They carry Boars Head, and a great variety. It's just a little hard to come across ripe avacados or bananas here. The seafood selection is lacking but the prices are fair. Not many sales but overall I always have a good experience when I shop here.

Foodtown is your typical grocery store with fresh produce and a pretty good deli. Plently of parking is available. The store is convenient; however, there are cheaper stores to go to.

Nice store, nice staff BUT, the meat department is lacking in quality. At least twice Ive opened a package of Foodtown brand chicken and the meat was old and smelly. The 1st instance I didnt make a big deal, sent it back for refund. Many months later I decide to get chicken and brought it home and same issue. It smelled badly. Had to return it. At this point will not buy meat from them at this store, especially store brand. They seem to keep selling older meats, that is gross. I also recall seeing one of the staff cleaning and wiping down counters in the meat dept and he was on top of the meat display and stepping on some of the meat packs with his boots, I could not believe it. My daughter and I just looked in disgust. I only get dry goods here because its closer to my home but for meats I go to shop rite. Buyer Beware with the meat department here it's unsanitary.

I wanted to make a $7 money order to NJ MVC, which I've never done before. But the lady at service desk was very sweet and helpful, she filled out my money order, and even gave me a photocopy so that i can keep the OG for my records. Thank you so much Melinda.

Prices are great but perishable foods have been expired multiple times I've gone here. I once bought refrigerated ravioli that were three months expired. the guy I spoke to couldn't believe that his store sold expired product. I followed him back to where I got the raviolis. He then found raviolis that were six months expired on the shelf!

Very helpful at customer service desk with Western Union for example. Employees are nice and caring. Prices can be higher than at larger food stores. It's a trade-off, smaller store so smaller lines and less time in store.
