Dr. Pathak is an excellent and caring veterinarian. There’s no one else I would trust with my cat’s life. He is always there for my cats whether is be for an emergency or regular check up. The prices are very affordable compared to other clinics. He saved Freddy’s life on multiple occasions. Thank You!

Super friendly staff and great pricing. I brought in a stray cat that we've been fostering, and they were very helpful with diagnostics, medications, and recommendations. I enjoyed talking to the veterinarian, who provided straightforward insight and advice without any selling or sugarcoating, which was very appreciated.

The Vets here did an amazing job. It was the most thorough exam my fur baby has ever had. The team was very welcoming and nice, and they explained EVERYTHING to me along with a great visual. They were able to work with my budget too! I’m very appreciative to have found this place. Thank you.

The 1 star goes toward the staff but I’d give 0 stars if I could. I’m a first time dog parent - the receptionist was very nice and the veterinarian assistant was extremely helpful/nice.Let’s start off with my appointment was at 11:45AM for first dose vaccinations. I arrived at 11:30AM and wasn’t put in a room until 1:00PM.My 4 month old puppy is really anxious and gets car sick. The vet came in and didn’t even acknowledge her or play with her for her to feel comfortable.He checked her fever and she screamed then threw up 3 additional times. Every time I spoke to explain she only does this when her anxiety is high, he interrupted with a question in which I answered if he was listening to anything I said.He told me he didn’t like my attitude when I simply was tired of him making me feel like I’m at fault for her throwing up. Why else would I be asking questions if I wasn’t concerned? He’s completely against any mental/anxiety disorders.He gave her 2 shots she didn’t even need and she left with no vaccinations. I went to Clifton Hospital and they treated her so well the next day, played with her to familiarize themselves, and she even got a dog treat! I will NEVER come to this practice again.Also, charged me an arm and leg for nothing.

I took my daughter's cat there since he went missing for 2 days and came back with a lump on his leg. That vet is rude, nasty and only looking for money. For him to just tell me " oh your going to be wasting alot of money here more than $500" like really! He wanted to open the cat up right away. Instead of him telling us " let's try antibiotics first and if that doesn't work, we will need to drain it" boom simple right?! Nope not with this vet. Being rude and that the cat will die if we don't open him right away, in front of my child. Who does that! Never again. Went to a different vet, assured me to take the antibiotics he prescribed and the lump went away. We rescued this cat from the streets, hard to keep him inside the house when he's used to the outdoors for most his life. Don't talk to people rude or some1 will not hold back.

Doctor doesn’t seem to know a whole lot in an emergency situation so if you are caught in a bad spot with your pet i would choose a different place; i waited for about 20-40min after i said my dog had a seizure in an empty waiting room. Don’t like to be mean or put anyone down but compassion and quick thinking isn’t easy to find nowadays.

HE IS A MONEY HUNGRY THIEF . My cat left there with 2 shots she didn’t even need or I asked for!!! My bill was over 400$ I went there for something completely different than he told me I didn’t understand because I didn’t speak English !! I speak both and I have an accent just like he does. He takes advantage of people that don’t speak good English. If it was t for his staff he would be out of business,!!! I

To say I’m upset doesn’t even explain how I feel, this doctor is so Rude and just want to do what ever he can to charge you. He barely touched my puppy and my bill was 300$ . I rather go to the vet in rutherford nj than him any day. He is also over booked and you end up waiting for hours save your time and money

Dr. Pathak is a loving, caring doctor. He truly has a genuine heart for his furry patients. My Chihuahua, Toby has been in his caring hands for 2 operations neutering at 11 yrs old and his molar extraction due to a crack that caused my dog an inflammation. My Toby is very calmed when he sees the staff and Dr so that means the world to me!Thank you doctor for your kind heart in caring for my Toby but most of all thank you for being a wonderful VETERINARIAN DR.My kids and I truly appreciate you!

DO NOT GO THERE THIS VET IS A THIEF. His malpractice shocking I can not believe he is still opened. DO NOT BUY ANY PRESCRIPTIONS FROM HIM HE SELLS MEDICINE DOUBLE THAN WHAT YOJ CAN GET IT ONLINE FOR . A prescription is 5$ he sells you medicine for 60$ when online it’s 30$. Dogs have died on his hospital table and no one stays anything. He is MONEY HUNGRY!!! He over books his appointments just to get the money he doesn’t do anything but have the assistant weigh your dog and than touches him for 5 mi and charges you a 60+$ vet visit, STAY AWAY FRON HIM.

I took my dog there and he is very rude and nasty. He sells you medicine for so expensive . When you can just get a prescription for 5$!!!! He does not care about the animals he cares about the money . All he wants is to cut your animal open and recommends surgery !!! So he can get more money!!! Please save your animals and your money do NOT GO TO HIM!!

This place is the worst. The doctor is greedy and they overbook patients which means the wait times are HORRIBLE! Yesterday I had a 5pm appointment for blood work for my dog, I didn’t make it in a room until 6:30pm and I had to pay $300. Today I took my dog for surgery and dropped him off at 10am for a surgery I was told would be about $800 (I had 3 fat buildups removed), I was originally supposed to pick my dog up at 5pm but then I got a call to come get my dog at 6:45pm. It was 6:30 and they called and told me to come at 7:45pm because they’re behind schedule and have no one to check me out which is crazy. I then get there and to my surprise my $800 bill was now over $1,300 🤣 this vet is EXTREMELY MONEY HUNGRY and it shows! I’m being charged $40 for a dosage of medicine when I pay $60 for full bottles of it. I use this place because it’s close to my house but I won’t use them any longer. I’d rather drive an hour for better service and transparent pricing. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your animal here.

Came here with my friend she needed help getting her cat to good doctor .Jake the cat he has some ear problems ... this doctor will tell you exactly what's wrong with your animal and he will let you know if you're caring for your pet properly.. .. too much yeast in his food . dry food which caused a buildup in his ears.Dr. give him a ear wash and drops for his ears. check up visit in 2 weeks cut down all dry foods too much yeast in products. Purina friskies check the labels got to find a better dry food for Jake.

This vet does not like to be questioned or challenged on his practices. My dog seemed to be in discovery period in regards to his vision loss, but I cannot afford to be in a constant yo-yo session, so I had to move on. Better than nothing... but if you can find better, do it. Best in New Jersey is Red Bank Vet Hospital (RBVH). 100%

Dr. Pathak is a Godsend. I went to multiple vets and no one was able to help my 2 dogs. Dr. Pathak took his time - studied them, took a multi-faceted approach that no other vet took - for the first time in years my animals are feeling better. I cannot believe that the others did not see what he did. They didn't even take swabs to figure out the infections!! No one took the extra step. Not only did Dr. Pathak do a thorough check to really discover what was wrong with them, but he sincerely cares and knows most of us cannot spend thousands. He does whatever he can to keep costs low (this is unheard of) and he ALSO has Sunday hours. UNHEARD of except for emergencies. My husband and I are amazed and feel such gratitude to this man. Thank you Dr. Pathak Amanda and Nicole for putting our animals on the road to health. I am not kidding - this vet is amazing.

Worst experience ever they make you wait outside and you not even sure if the vet took an actual observation on my dog and try to analyze what is wrong with him. It’s been 3 months since I took my dog there but the vet said my dogs panting is normal I believe it’s not!! They made a blood test for heart worms and they got the results within mins and they had stated it would take 24 hrs for results to pop up. I just feel like I got scammed. I was willing to pay for an X-ray but they didnt let me go in and I’m not doing anything without my presence of being next to my pup.

Dr. Pathak is the most compassionate vet I've known. He's helped me with fosters as well as my own pets. He's helped me with my dog who had cancer. Sadly passed but she was about 16.. she had heart and kidney issues too. He helped me learn to give her iv fluids and everything i needed for her and i had months with her and she was happy and spoiled until she decided no more food.... my cat who had bone cancer and spread to her lungs, that was this week. Sadly she's gone. There wasn't much to do for that. But he did remove her tumor a year ago and give me an extra year with her. He's helped with everything. I'd be lost without him. I trust him.

My dog had an issue with her eye and I took her to another local vet at least 5 times over the course of a year and and half and they were not able to help. This vet took one quick visit and was able to fix the issue. Needless to say he is super knowledgeable. And the staff is very friendly there.

Dr Pathak was quick with the appointment. I took my dog for emergency service and she was given the best care. They even kept her for half hour to observe If she is doing fine. They actually did follow-up after 24 hour to make sure my dog was doing fine.

Nice, conscientious and experienced doctor. You can tell he has been doing this for a long time. He was also able to find a problem with my dog that two other doctors had missed.He is super price conscious, which is great. and he is always looking for ways to do things easier for my pets so they don't get stressed out, even if it's more time consuming or less money for him.
