I came here on a Wednesday morning and we walked in to the stables to find our instructors. After filling out our liability form and receiving our helmets we were taught how to get on to the horse and walked a few laps around the indoor area to practice. The trail was lovely, nice quiet but I thought there wasn’t anything special about it. You do ride a little going up and down small hill but you are not on the trail longer than approx 40 minutes. I think the longest part was getting you adjusted on to the horses and then the instructors.If it is your first time doing a trail ride this is the place for you. Our instructor was good at letting you know everything you need to know about riding for first time and about the horses. They horses seemed well kept and healthy.

I am loving my lessons at Spring Valley so much. I look forward to going each week and am learning all aspects of horse care and horseback riding! I highly recommend going for private lessons. Rachel is so kind and knowledgeable and encouraging. I am so thrilled to have found SV!

Wish I could give them more stars! I went for a trail ride with my 10, 13, and 16 year old cousins and a friend and we all loved it and had so much fun! Christine is an excellent instructor and so kind and patient. Rachel was the best instructor and trail guide too! We all had so much fun and loved the horses! All the horses were so well trained and so sweet with their fun personalities. I highly highly recommend Spring Valley Equestrian Center. The people there clearly love the horses and take care of visitors. Love it!

Wonderful facility! My daughter took lessons for about 2 years, participated in the summer camps and a horse show. Chuck, Marie and Christina are the ultimate hosts, very kind and professional. Many great memories for our family. Thanks to all of you for the great memories!!!!!

I went there this weekend with my 9 year old daughter (a 1st timer) and we absolutely loved it! Maureen and Christina were so very accommodating and Maureen taught so much to my daughter in a small amount of time, all while making it enjoyable and memorable! We will definitely be back!

Reserved a spot and came in a little late due to a rally that was going Newton. We were told that we only had 30 minutes to ride because we were late. Instead of paying for 30 minutes, they were telling us that we still had to pay the full price for riding the horses. Every minute that was passing by they were counting on and telling us that our time is running out for waiting around so basically we were going to ride for 10-15 minutes. The old man was very nice and trying to understand and help us however the short haired lady is extremely rude and has almost zero skills on how to treat her customers. I am disappointed and felt disrespected.

Very nice experience. The people there are so friendly and welcoming. While my husband went on the ride, one of the owners spent the whole time showing my and my baby around, let my baby feed the horses and interact with them. Loved it! Can't wait to go back!!

I Am an experienced rider but it was my boyfriend's first time. It was supposed to be something for us to do together. I wanted him to really like it because I want it to be a regular thing for us. Unfortunately we were given horses that don't get along so we had to ride 20 feet apart. The guide was great but the overall experience was a disappointment.

Really nice facilities and super instructers. Didn't give 5 stars though because they limit your experiences a lot. I used to only go their for summers because I live in a different state, and at my regular barn I was jumping at least 2ft. Here the trainer was super nice, but I barely even cantered my whole summer there and I felt that my training was put a stop during my time their so I had to make the hard decision to leave. I was jumping courses at my regular barn but did walk, trot, and a lap of canter lessons. It was just not enough for me. Good for beginners and intermediate riders though.

We brought our child here the other day. She has been here a few times prior and really wanted to go back. Christine worked with my child to brush the horse, pick its hooves and saddle the horse. She went out into the ring and Christine gave her a great lesson. She took it slow just like we wanted for our new little rider.

The blonde lady with the short hair there was extremely rude she needs to represent herself with a better manner and she should approach people with a better attitude be kind and have good customer skills. We were really looking forward to ride your horses drove all the way just to b disappointed.Here’s tip: wash your jeans before you teach your customers how to ride horses.

I was very pleased with my first trip horse back riding. Katie was a wonderful guide. The trail ride was phenomenal-beautiful, peaceful ride. Very nice experience. Would love to go again sometime soon!

Excellent indoor arena with access to a really nice trail system and the Paulinskill Trail system for simple pleasure trail rides. Individual lessons are available and we have had our daughter there for quite a few

Beautiful horses. Great Customer Service! You can just visit to see some of the horses. They do trails and pony rides for kids. They offer many options to chose from. Definitely will return.

My daughters went to the camp one year and she loved it! Now they do it every summer with their cousin who fly's up from Virginia just to do it. I have never been disappointed.
