I really like this Petsmart. They have a great stock of items, it is always clean and I am able to find everything easily. However, I have had the same cashier three times in a row and she is just unpleasant. She seems to be put out when she is asked requests and she is generally not very nice. Management was not very friendly either. Since I do not shop there for the friendly experience but the prices, this will not interfere with me spending my money there. Just a warning to others who do shop for the experience, there are much friendlier Petsmarts out there and I say this as an ex-Petsmart employee.

I took my Labrador for a full wash, nail clipping, teeth brushed you name it. I'm sorry to say Dana has done a terrible job! My dog looks like he never walked into the store to begin with. Highly disappointed! I recommend, if you do go to this place see the girl Christina, that's who did snickers the first time and he was amazing shiny not one hair came off of his body. I told the manager there and she gave us a freebie for this Saturday. I'm the guy that if I have to make a complaint, I can't trust the next person to do a good job. I will never go back to this place $152 that's including tip to babysit my dog for 2 hours. I promise you if you go there book your appointment with Christina 5* You won't be disappointed!!!!! But this post will get a 1 star.

Big shout out to Sarah. in the Newton NJ store.....she did an AMAZING AMAZING job on my GSD beyond happy with her grooming . in the past 4yrs have always had great service but today was just something special ❤️

Be careful with the fish here. I got 5 guppies and 2 white skirts for my tank that's been established for 4 years and they spread disease throughout the tank, I lost 2 of my oldest male guppies, a white skirt and 4 female guppies due to disease from the fish I got at this store. I am heart broken to have lost a few of my oldest fish just because I got fish from here. Completely upset with this situation. I for one with everyone I know will not be going to petsmart at all anymore. Pet stores should have the animals as #1 always. they need to revamp their aquarium area and make sure they keep on top of it. Aquarium maintenance is key to healthy fish. I will say the lady that helped me was very nice though!

We bring our Rottweiler in for grooming and they always do a fantastic job. It always makes us smile when they put those adorable bows by her ears 😍 the staff is professional and friendly and they always call in advance to let me know she is nearly ready for pick up. Would absolutely recommend!

Grooming for 1 dog. They stopped taking our older dog because she didnt like them touching her face. But never told me that until I called. That caused us to find another groomer for her.

Took Rocky in for a bath and grooming. He needed special shampoo which the vet had given me but groomer refused to use it. Guess she thinks she knows more than my Vet! WRONG! Cancelled appointment on the spot and also noticed the grooming area was very dirty and cluttered with a lot of pet hair. I will not book at this location anymore and I am making sure my Vet knows to tell his customers to avoid this store. Snotty people working here and the manager is a bigger joke! Stay clear of Hampton Pet Smart if you love you pet like me!

An associate at the Newton, NJ Pet Smart recommended groomer Elainna when we were inquiring about the grooming service. We explained that Wendy Darling had never before been groomed, is extremely wiggly, jumpy and was just at the beginning of learning social skills. We also were looking for a "No noose" groom, as our puppy's breed tends to have a sensitive trachea. It seemed that the unanimous consensus of the staff was that Elainna was with whom we should book the grooming appointment because she has so much empathy for apprehensive dogs. They were right!I couldn't get over how our groomer Elainna immediately connected with our puppy. The interaction was so sweet, and reassuring that I instantly felt at ease and any anticipated apprehensions just melted away. Being able to observe the groom was a feature I really appreciated, and it served to solidify my peace of mind of the experience. I sent photos to anxiously awaiting family members who also were instantly delighted and reassured. Wendy Darling looks beautiful! I will certainly bring Wendy Darling back to Pet Smart in Newton, NJ for her future grooms going forward; as long as we can request Elainna! She is the BEST!

There's a decent selection of fish, reptiles, birds and hamsters/mice. Once in awhile you have to wait for help when one employee is working the floor but thats not an issue to me. They also have cat adoption daily and dog adoption occasionally.

Took my pup for a cleaning came back home sick. So now I’m cleaning him at home and now needs a visit to the vet. Not sure if it was worth it. Chloe was great the cleaning was great but didn’t expect for my pup to get sick in the process.

We are very happy with the current supply and variety of the supplies we need for our furry family. The suppliers seem to be sending more cat food to the store than they were in the height of the pandemic.Everything you need, along with coupons, is available at Petsmart. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. We buy all of our day to day cat products at Petsmart.

The girls did a fantastic job grooming Barnabee. Very grateful for the kindness and care they took on my dog. His coat felt great. Great job on his nails. Helped him feel comfortable. Easy and took him right away. Will be back to groom my dog here. Staff is very kind. Everyone who worked there stock register and grooming was very helpful and polite.

Grooming salon is exceptional very good with your pets And I love the report card system Pricing is not too bad and they have most big name brand some smaller brands pet friendly as always. I love this store. Great staff. Super friendly and helpful. They seem to maintain inventory much more consistently than other retail stores. A little pricey compared to places like Walmart but they have more to offer and it's easy to walk in get what you need and be out in a few minutes. Also they sell live crickets worms etc and small animals/pets. Also a groomer on premise and they have cats for adoption..

It isn't the greeting when you walk into the store. It isn't the pure cleanliness of this particular facility that gets five stars. Many aspects of this place help it achieve 5 stars. However, what won me over was the girl behind the fish counter. I was at the store earlier with my daughter to look at fish and get crickets. She's professional, courteous, and she catered to mt 3-year-old's attention span on which fish she wanted. Pulling the business act on me is one thing, but when you treat my family with the utmost respect -5 stars for you.I did not get her name but check the timestamp of this review, Pet Smart. You should praise those that do their best everyday. You won't find that in our local one. This one is worth the drive.(P.S. -my daughter brought home a $0.32 orange and white goldfish that made her day. Dad win.)

Store was neat and clean. Cashier was nice and friendly. Product was limited in the dehydrated raw dog food and twice the price online. $85 for a bag that would make up 35lbs. Way too expensive. Will buy online in future
