It will be second time we are taking our dog to Clip Shoppe for boarding. Lulu came back nice and clean after 12 days ( we did not order grooming). They have large yard for dogs to play, natural light in all kennels. It is a bit far for us to drive, but worth it!

ZERO STARSBULLY OWNERS BEWARE:Owner. Tall guy with knee brace. Salt and Pepper Hair. Started to yell at me in front of other paying customers.Then pulled me inside to continue to yell at me, that my PUPPY (9months old) destroyed his kennel.UNPROFESSIONAL.Mind you my puppy is a BULLY breed. (Possible reason for discontent)PuppyRaised with a new born. Non aggressive but suffers from separation anxiety has a hard time adjusting.His off color behavior and solution to my problem was to drug my dog.BULLY Owners BEWARE. This place prefers other breeds.

Good for boarding a short time only. The areas in the dogs are in are like cages in front . The place is immaculately clean . No dog smell. People there are very friendly and knowledgeable

I don't have anyplace to compare to because it was the first time I had our dog groomed. But our Corgi looks great and she was happy when I picked her up. Very easy to deal with and I thought the price was fair for the services.

Sandy and her staff are great! Very compassionate, caring and they treat my dog like it's their own. I've been bringing my dogs there for grooming and boarding for at least 15 years. Highly recommend.

Fantastic people who are so kind and loving to the dogs and so sweet and patient with their over protective owners! We moved to Rockaway from PA. Due to holiday and crazy snow, our two rambunctious dogs had to board for almost two weeks! I would have lost my mind. But everyone on staff was so kind and reassuring! I was never worried about my dogs’ conditions because the facilities are wonderful and extremely well managed! My babies came to their new home very happy and healthy ! Thank you all for everything!

Being yelled at by owner in front of other customers as if I do not care for my dog. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND to ANYONE! My dog has been extremely sick for over a year and was not groomed for 5 months. Was told she grooms dogs who are dying. Made to feel I don’t care and love my dog.

Sandy and her staff are wonderful. I have been bringing my dog there for years. Not only for grooming but also boarding. I was at first nervous about boarding since I never did it before. Sandy took her time and showed where my dog would be and how well he would be taken care of. I would recommend the Clip Shoppe to everyone.

My first time having my dog groom there, I was very pleased on the how good my Brownzy look. Brownzy is 15 and aggressive when it comes to getting groomed. I tried other groomers to see if they would take him with a muzzle and they refuse. I always have to have him tranquilized which is dangerous at his age. I was refer to Clip Shop by Valley Vet Hospital and this was an answer to my prayers. This place did a much better job than the other one.

While the hours are sometimes a little hard to work around we have never been disappointed with our fur baby’s grooming or vacation. We call during her boarding and they always give a little update for my kids and even sent a picture for them.It’s also affordable for us which is helpful when having to leave her behind.

My girl loves to cone get her nails done . Usually she is crying and being so grumpy. The staff absolutely makes the pup feel so at home.. they are an amazing group! I send everyone I know w a pup to them! Thank you all for being so great to my lil girl❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love the haircut and treatment they give to my dogs when I make my appointments here. However, google search says they open at 8am on some days. It would be really nice if someone answered the phone at the time they say they are open. That is my only complaint. If you open at 8am, you should answer your phones at 8am. Not an hour later.

Prices are reasonable and their service is good, but the biggest reason they get 5 stars is it really seems like they care about the pets they service, and my dogs always seem happy when I pick them up.

My dog ia a nice dog. But when she is groomed she morphs into a hound from hell. The ladies here handle her with love and patience. So I have nothing but praise for how deliver a great grooming.

Very disappointed on customer serviceAnd the lack of not telling me they cut his nails way to short and bled all over my car.They didn't take responsibility in cutting the nail to short and blamed it on my dog.$75 not well spent.
