This is actually a favorite store of mine. I usually don't have any issues or problems so for that... I drive past other places to get here... However today when calling to check on a prescription I was immediately put directly on hold after the automated greeting. The phone rang and then the elevator music started playing. After about 2 minutes it rang again and the elevator music played again. After 5 mins of being on hold total I finally get a person that tells me exactly what I needed to know. I get it but I don't like it as a consumer.

ZERO STARS! First an foremost the customer service is horrible beware. secondly It's always the same 5-8 people working who don't have any knowledge of the products 🤯 and they always have an attitude.🙅🏾 Thirdly If you are coming to use coupons or try to price match they will not honor it. they just tell you "NO we are not allow to" which is B.S. & don't get me started about the pharmacy that's a story for another day 🤦🏾Spend your money somewhere else! This store cares more bout how many hours each person is getting then actually hiring and training their employees correctly. Terrible management.

Could receive No efficient customer service from the low level employees all the way up to the management. Refused to open additional registers despite them having a “grocery receipt” long line. Truly a shame that I now have to use the south orange or Maplewood location. What is wrong with the ghetto? (Sigh)

If I can give this place a 0 I would..even a negative. I went to pick up my medication and sat for 25 mins in my car without anyone acknowledging that I was even there to pick up my medication. This happens every single time I have to get my medication. As of today I must pick a new pharmacy. This is the definition of ghetto. Then for the associate to have an attitude.

This store has the worst customer service ever. Every time I go there to pick up my medication they are sitting around talking as if no one is in line. The staff have the worst attitudes. I will be changing stores.

There is one Lady i think they call her Serviane who is not bad but worst in customer service. She needs to stop the way she yells at customers for no reason whatsoever. I dont know whats the matter , she definately hates her job and is always cursing customers for that . Lady control your bad behaviour or the store will shut down soon because of your service and attitude.

If I could, I'd give it a minus 5 rating. The pharmacy is awful. They play these childish games when you're waiting for someone to pick up the phone in pharmacy. Music plays, the phone rings, and you actually hear someone pick the phone up and put in back on the music. This happens for like 20 minutes. Sometimes you get through afterwards, most of the time you don't!! Stay away if you need your meds refilled or need to check on a refill. And don't have you're Doctor fax a prescription, because its not until you call is when they actually check the machine.

Staff: for the most part, staff was polite (if you can find them! lol), but not knowledgeable regarding the location of VERY basic items (i.e. extension cord -near hardware).Service: when you FINALLY get to register in a line that may have had 6+ people ahead of you, it's frustrating at minimum to hear staff FINALLY call for back up.Location: great parking lot size, but located in a nasty neighborhood.Store quality & supply: I found EVERYTHING I went in for, in addition to a few extras I usually can't find. The store was amazingly clean and organized, especially for a high traffic store middle to end of day.I'd go again for sure, though only in a pinch, due to the convenience of last minute snack shopping.

On the 13th I called these people to get my medication 💊 they said it was against the law for them to give me my medication that they had since the 12th.. Last month these people lied saying my insurance wouldn't cover it but they did in fact. So then i called to see why they lied and now its out of stock 😒... So on Oct 13th I said let me call them now to make sure they don't pull the same shi they did last month.. The pharmacist claims that i was being rude to her because I told her they lied last month. She then refused to give me her managers name AFTER she told me if I didn't like the way they run things talk to her manager.. Today I called my insurance pharmacy department 🏬 because they was playing games AGAIN saying that they could not find my prescription in the system but yet they already charged 🤔 the insurance company 🤔 So explain how you charging for something that you dont have?? Today they tried lying 🤥 to me saying that I needed to contact my doctor 😒 over the same prescription they send faithfully every 30days.. Good thing that I had the insurance on the phone 📱 😅 because they informed me they talked to UNA (the same Asian who didn't like me calling liars , liars) So she gave them her name but on the 13th she said that she didn't have to give me her name.. So today UNA SENT those little girls to come lie to me some more but as soon as they knew I had names and that I knew they charged the insurance company 🤔 now the prescription will be ready in 2 minutes?? Una also told me to contact the state 🙄 😒 I dont think you want me to do that because then you'll have to explain the unethical shi you was doing.. last month I had to wait ✋ 32 days for my 30 day supply.Going forward everyone contact your insurance pharmacy department because since Walgreens like lying saying that the insurance didn't cover it and in my case they paid for it with no hesitation. Pull their card. call the bluff because I caught them in lies several times... And its time for me to look for a new pharmacy home because I refuse to play with these people 😒What if I was crazy and waited for them to go outside? or forget outside what if I started a scene on the inside 🤔 but I would be the bad guy, right? Nevermind these people are playing with people's lives.. Today the girl asked a customer was his teeth missing 😬 because she couldn't hear 😳 him and they all laughed even the pharmacist Una and good thing the old man told them to clean their dirty ears out. And the register was short $25 lol if you'll lie you'll steal..Yes thats how much of my time was wasted there that i witnessed all of that..

The staff at the pharmacy are rude and unprofessional. They expect to waste your time while you have no opinion about it.I had the worst experience today 5/20/22. After going back and forth for my prescription the previous day 5/19, I was called that my insurance would not cover it so I went over to pick up in order to pay cash. On getting there, there was absolutely no line so I figured I would be out of there in no time. The lady that attended to me wasted my time going back and forth to the person I saw the previous day for information when she could have asked me. Then, she later came around to ask if I wanted to pick the medication, I confirmed yes. After over 15mins of waiting, I excused myself to go and get something from my car. Upon returning with money, she still could not figure what the issue was because I could hear her asking her colleague despite me having explained to her. Finally, I heard her say to me "your insurance did not cover your meds so you will have to pay $13.00." to which I replied her by saying "I know, that's why I'm here." Then she said I was being rude and her colleague with a black scrub (guess she is the lead technician) came without the courtesy of asking me what the issue was, said that I was giving an attitude hence my prescription would not get filled.I left there without my medication which I needed badly. Imagine if this was a life saving medication, that's how it would be denied because someone feels she can?

On February 22 my doctor sent in a script for a pain medication which was not filled for 18 days. After lodging a complaint with Complaints Dept, the pharmacist Grace calls me to apologize and telling me they’re overwhelmed and have new hires. She assured me this would never happen again. I see my doctor again on March 21 and he puts in another script and this script is never filled either. When I call on April 8 to inquire, I speak with Grace again and she now tells me that my doctor never sent this script in and to call my doctor and have him resend it. I’m now angry, frustrated and my pain level ( which had been controlled ) is now off the charts. The pharmacy department in this store needs a complete overhaul because it wreaks of ineptitude. Walgreens has lost a valued customer and I’ll be spreading the word.

These people are so unprofessional. How does the pharmacist ask the patient to call the doctors office when clearly the Rx is there. I come back 5 days later after my doctor sends it in and it’s magically disappeared. Now they’re looking at me like I’m crazy. I never had this problem in Belleville. Only in the ghetto I guess. Retrain or rehire is definitely needed here. I’m just trying to quit smoking not buy crack. Now I’m going to buy a pack of cigarettes and they should be ashamed of themselves. Grace was the pharmacist on duty. Very rude and giving me a hard time for no reason. I wish I could’ve given a review with 0 stars because they don’t even deserve the 1.

I am black women the item I wanted to purchase an associate had to give it to me she had the key. The associate absolutely refused to let me hold the item I was purchasing nor could I read the information on the item. I had to follow the associate to the checkout register where she gave it to the cashier. I thought that was very rude. The employees do give you nasty looks. I assumed they were paid so poorly they had to take it out on somebody. If you call and ask for the store manager they will put an employee on the phone so your complaint is dismissed.

The worse pharmacy department in America! They are always changing their technicians, none of them are there long enough to learn the system on their own. They are rude! They are always messing up the payments for the order. They are always giving the wrong information, and they are slow about everything they do. Their hours work for my work schedule and that is the only reason why i put up with this place, but i am looking for another company to deal with... I've had enough of their unprofessionalism

I have filled scripts here numerous times. Each time it was a less then average experience. No one picks up the phone , they are always under staffed which I think is the problem. The employees are nice. I guess you can only do so much when your not properly staffed .

Horrible place. Their drive- through took me 30 mins....how is that just driving through. I don't think they pay enough because they seem to always hire incompetent staff who have no idea what customer service is. It is close by and the hours are convenient so used to go here. But after bitter experiences more than a couple of times, I decided I would rather go far than to deal with them again. I transferred all my prescriptions to Walmart. And guess what, it actually took me the same time without the frustration. When I call, a pharmacist always picks up and they call ME if something does not go through. There is never a line at the counter. They are friendly..and guess what...I am paying 4$ for a prescriptions I paid $15 for at Walgreens. Wal-Mart has a list of medications that they offer for $4 on their website so you can check if yours is covered. For the money I am saving, I don't mind driving up to Route 22.

On Aug 1st 2022 I went into this location and they CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE !!! HORRIBLE !!!! DISGUSTING !!! The employees are full of attitudes , have no knowledge of the products and did I mention they have a STANK ATTITUDES !! Manger please evaluate your team members . Some of them don’t need to be there if they really hate their jobs and dont want to know about the products to help the customers .

This Walgreens Pharmacy is the worst one I have ever seen. I went drive through pickup for medicine and the associates told me to drive 15-20 minutes to the medicines be ready. This is insane. This happens to me every time I went there. They don't even call to pickup when medication is ready.

My favorite go to Walgreens. They have everything here and Devon and Jetsie are so helpful. I went in looking for last minute Christmas gifts for my son’s teachers and both Devon and Jetsie have superior customer service skills, were very patient, professional and took their time to actually help me. Thanks to them I left Walgreens feeling very satisfied.

They went the extra mile to get approval for a med. Im from the Walgreens 80 Central ave EO which is temp. Close. No warning just close, but I'm assigned to this store. I hv no problems with anyone. I wish i was assign to the Walmart on my side of town. Strange times, so I let it go
