I've been shopping here for years because it's a great place to check first because they have some nice discounts. They've got a little bit of everything from apparel, housewares, furniture, cleaning supplies, electronics, food and so on. The store is organized, clean and there's a lot of free parking space. The employees are also polite and helpful, especially when I needed to return or exchange items.

Unfortunately, This is one of those store who plays by their own rules.I’ve witnessed them treat people extremely poorly. The employees are great, HOWEVER ONE OF THE MANAGERS/OWNERS (man in his early 50s) is very rude. Not only to the customers but to his employees as well.I’ve gone in 4 times to ask about a chair. Each time the price has changed. The older manager, politely told me the price was $39.99. 2 weeks later the rude manager said 49.99, a month later 59.99. I’ve written down the price multiple times, and it keeps changing...So I’ll keep my business. Just want everyone to know, that there are definitely some race and other social issues in full effect here!

I really like this store. When I need to get projects done, hey have literally a whole selection of school supplies for a really great price , they have poster boards, binders, pencils, glue, pens, etc. They have kitchen supplies , bedroom supplies and MUCH more. They have jackets , shirts, pants. I suggest going there if you can’t go to far places such as Walmart, staples and target.

I used to enjoy coming to this place. I walked into this store one day with my mother and purchased almost $40 worth of bathroom supplies. As we were leaving the alarm went off and the man's that are always in the front ran up to us as we stole something. They than proceed to grab my mom purse and asked if they can go through it. Since we didn't have anything to hide, we agreed. But instead of taking us to a private setting, they proceed to do it right in front of everybody. They literally took everything out my mom bag especially her medication she had on her at the time. I was so embarrassed and told them; they need to stop. The older man looked at me as if he was disappointed. Never again!!! They should not be able to treat their customers that way. They literally need proper training when it comes to customer service skills.

Lots of items from clothes to household items and electronics. Everything is either off brand or name brands that are irregulars. They have great prices as well. Great 1 stop shop. The only problem is that the owners are very rude and unkind towards the local population.

I can see why they have a Newark Police officer stationed inside most days. I'm the last one to push the race card, unfortunately it's a issue at this store in regards to the way certain customers are treated. Most of the products are def overpriced for any area, especially Newark. The Indian lady that works the Lotto is a real problem, its clear to see what her problem is. I use to shop here because of how convenient it is to my house. Good luck with talking with management about a issue its futile. The only good thing about this place is the return policy is fair, hence the 2 star rating. i won't spend anymore money in there. Again i see why NP is posted inside, they are def aware of the problem.

I go there for my shower curtains and other little small items I need for my house. I once got a big standing heavy metal Fan and alot of the items were missing- and i got my money back. The place is always clean.

Discount variety store with a little bit of everything. You can often find what you're looking for and usually at good prices. Don't expect top quality merchandise, but they have almost everything you need for home and family.

The place seems alright But customer service isn’t at its best. I had given them a call to find out the price range of some items that they had and they refused to help. The option they gave me was to come to the store and check the price myself. I think it’s weird that they don’t want to help their customers in such a small way. It’s not reasonable to just not give a price over the phone. I would expect their website to desolation some help there but like I said they don’t seem to want to help customers so all I found in there website was the introduction to their store 😬 yikes.

First of all they are NOT temporarily closed for starters, Second of all if you plan to come and shop here make sure you come with your own pair of mask and gloves otherwise your not allowed to shop, as well all know mask and gloves are hard to find now a days they could of at-least provided their costumers with a pair to be able to shop for there essentials. i am not mad it’s completely understandable but they could have put more thought into it instead of turning away costumers.

It was ok , came in looking for blinds found them , some guy in a turban took my bookbag as I entered and followed me around the store , reminded me of when I was a kid shopping in Newark and everyone had to leave their bags in front of the store till they were done shopping , I thought that was over years ago but I guess shop lifters are back

Has almost everything you need for the right price. Has some imported food, low cost clothing, cheap furniture and appliances, some mixed quality electronics, and other basic home needs. It really is an impressive veriaty of goods to be found. It's the go to place in the ironbound for a quick purchase when you don't want to drive to a major retailer or order online.The prices aren't the best, they are the middle ground between a ma '& pa store and a major retailer. So it'snot the best place to shop, but in an emergency, this store may very well be your best bet outside out driving to Wal-Mart.

OMG if you like being followed around by staff and your children getting told not to touch anything then this is the place for you. I been needing draino for a month and rather let my drain suffer then me go to save smart and buy tjere draino. If I could give 0 stars I would. On Mothers day I was looking for a pan only to have the staff laugh in my face and shooo me away because she was engaging in conversations with 3 men in a corner of the store. Huh
