Good stuff...great location...I believe we are losing the parking lot across the street which sucks, but otherwise its dollar tree, my daughter's party was great thanks to all the deals for party stuff.

Very lazy employees. The lady at the cash register was literally speaking on the phone, complaining about her job, headphones on. Very very unprofessional. Very slow working while talking on the phone and she had a line building up behind her. Apart from employees during this holiday season they have a variety of gift bags that are so cute

I love Dollar Tree. The staff at the Dollar Tree in our community is always courteous, friendly and helpful. Although, they are always stocking shelves with boxes around..I believe its because its always busy. I visit Dollar Tree at least twice a week and I've always had a great experience. The customers are friendly as well. Keep up the good work Dollar Tree. Just one last thing..please restock shelves with more Reese's White Chocolate Peanut Butter cups. Its a community favorite and it goes quickly when in stock. Thank you much!

Horrible. Always closed for no reason at all and they close early whenever they feel like it. The staff is lazy and the store is always dirty and disheveled. Today is Halloween, not a national holiday. Why are you closed? I stop by here sometimes before going home because I know when I get home, the one in Watchung will be closed. But I will just find another one along the way. This one is just that bad! Zero stars if it was possible.

Good selection, curtious staff. Just need to keep shelves fully stocked if you are a crafter like me this is a Crafters heaven! There are so many things that you can use their to create gorgeous things for the holidays and gifts take the time and go to Dollar Tree there are so many I'm sure you can find one near you.

The cashier told me to hold on while she found a song to play on her phone. As she was looking for the song she stated "l love Mario, he's so underrated. "When she found the song she liked, she turned the volume up and sang along loudly to the music as she rang up my items.

Dollar Tree, 1111 South Orange Ave, Newark, NJ 07106 DESERVES ZERO STARS!!!! Before getting in line she was complaining about people stealing and not being up to her to stop theft! Waited over 20 minutes in line while the manager with the weave tried to call another manager on her cellphone to try and figure out how to do a return for the customer in front of us! They do not have a SEPARATE LINE to deal with return and only have 2.5 cashier! Meanwhile, another employee, Richard "D***s" as he called himself, was cleaning up while there were a million people in line! He eventually got into an argument with the lady with the weave in her hair over job duties and responsibilities. he thought this whole incident was funny! At this Doallar Tree serving customers is a joke to them! They were both touchy and unprofessional. Now, while waiting for the lady with the weave in her hair to call another manager to find out how to fix the register, because she did something wrong, a guy in line was complaining, and she got really nasty and said she did not care and we could all go to another line, because she was doing her job. Even though the lady with the return had left 5 minutes earlier and she told her she did not care about how it rung up! Lastly, Richard got smartmouthed with the customers saying that nothing is going to change, that he supported the lady with the weave in her hair, and that the customer is not always right, but that we were wrong! He is right. We were wrong for coming to this horribly run Dollar Tree! We were wrong for waiting that amount of time in line! We were wrong for putting up with such unprofessional employees! We will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! AND WE WILL DISCOURAGE ALL OF OUR FOLLOWERS NOT TO SUPPORT DOLLAR TREE! Your store does nothing for the community, does not deserve to be supported by the community, and does not care about the community!!! Dollar Tree on 1111 South Orange, Ave, Newark, NJ 07106 has horrible, horrible, horrible service. They do not even have a live customer service number where they can be contacted. They do not care. Their home base is in VA.

My experience at this particular Dollar Tree is ok I just don't like how it be 1 cash register open most of the time & how some employees to be specific the young employees keep the shelves half-way stock also how they move items around from their original isle & shelves but other than that the employees r very kind welcoming & extremely helpful when it comes to finding these items especially the lite-skin lady manager Trice that work mornings...I absolutely love this Dollar tree I prefer 2 go 2 this 1 over thee others anyday 💁🏾‍♀️✊🏽💯👌🏾

This place used to be nice when it first opened but it went downhill very fast they have old products on the shelves food with rat holes them boxes in the aisles and so on and so on its place is no better than a common corner store I would advise you to go somewhere else at least the bodega is a little bit cleaner than this place but everything is a dollar in the store so for that reason I'll give it t2 Stars

I like this location. It's clean, the staff is friendly and has a freezer section. I just wish that they would stop putting all the box milk in the cooler as I need to store them outside the fridge until I need them. I usually have to arrive before they are unboxed and put to chill.

Awesome Staff Great Management, they go out of their way to help. Store is a little messy , But I have Never been to A Perfectly neat Dollar Tree 😂 I go at least 3 times a week! Who doesn’t 🤔

Do not buy snacks here! The snacks at Dollar Tree are staled! The staff is mercurial. Sometimes they can be friendly and thank customers but most times they are discourteous and not thankful to customers! Saw one employee on the phone talking on their cellphone and it was not store related while serving customers at the same time and other staff did not say a word to this employee. In fact, they talked to her as well. What an unprofessional place! These are just some things we noticed! Like for all places like this always check the date and the condition of the package before buying.

Wide variety of products, but the staff can't keep up with the demand and very often you will find empty shelves. I always see employees restocking and boxes of products in the middle of the aisles. This dollar tree is always busy with long lines, usually one or two registers open and the cashiers in no rush to do their job.

it's not that I hate it it's just that I do not shop there as there is a Dollar tree closer to my house this is way up from me going to South Orange I don't need to go to this particular Dollar tree I don't hate them I just don't particularly shop at this one. This has to be one of the worst STORES in this chain they cannot seem to open the store while a truck is making a delivery on Thursdays. I suggest that you try a different location on Thursdays, only in the Hood does this seem to happen.

The cashier's are sometimes rude and the manager​ acts as if you are bothering him when you ask a question. But the selections are ok and they try to keep it neat.

My experience at the dollar tree was good. Ever thing cost 1 dollar. That is great and cheap. Ten dollar can buy a lot . You can save shopping at the dollar tree.

Its ok. Everytime i got there its always one line open only. They need more workers and sometimes the cashiers can be rude but u can find anything in there.
